North Air is amazing! They have been our go to company for HVAC needs for over 10 years. Vigen was an absolute life saver today as our AC condenser stopped working last night. With over 100 degree weather right now and a 6 month old baby at home, we were anxious to get it fixed as soon as possible. He came out first thing this morning, troubleshooted very quickly (starter had gone), had the part on hand to fix it, and was able to have us back up and running in no time. He also charged us an incredibly reasonable price and is always so pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. Strongly recommend North Air and will definitely be calling them again in the future!

My air conditioner was leaking. I called North Air and Vigen showed up within a half hour to fix it. I just moved to Burbank so this was my first time using North Air. You never know what youre going to get but the reviews I saw on Yelp and Google were accurate. Vigen is a very friendly, straightforward guy who tries to find solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective. He also replaced my air intake vent (which was a pain to open and change the filter) with a new easy-to-open vent with a hinge - see attached photo (marks on ceiling made by me, not him!). From my experience, North Air gets the job done well.

Like every one NO A/C in the summer is never good timing so after leaving several messages at the yelp references I called North Air, because they are in Burbank and for many years (33). Vigen answered the phone and was at our home in less than 45 min. Had the problem identified and fixed in another 45 min. Timing is outstanding, personality was conscientious and respectful. We had a problem with our heater and called numerous places for repair. We got the run around and spent hundreds of dollars with serviceman coming in and out of our home for days on end.We finally were referred to North Air and Vigen came over.Vigen quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered the replacement part and thouroughly explained everything he was doing. He was able to come to our house same day to take a look and quickly diagnosed a burned out motor. Vigen at North Air recently replaced my outdated air conditioning system and did a great job. Even though Id had a good experience with Vigen in the past, I consulted with several HVAC companies before making a decision on what system to buy and who to install it. Vigen just struck me as the most honest, no-nonsense person. He went over the pluses and minuses of various AC options in detail, including those the other companies were pushing. North Air proved to be a good decision. Installing the new AC was a massive undertaking given the constraints of my (poorly designed) condominium building, but Vigen and his team finished it all in one day. And everything he had said about the benefits of this particular AC unit has proven correct. Its also nice that Vigen is easily reachable via phone and text and responds quickly. Hes a good guy. I would not hesitate to recommend him for your HVAC needs.

Finally made the switch to a Heat Pump system to complement solar panels and North Air made the process seamless. Vigen was professional and easy to communicate with during the whole process. Vigen and his team converted our AC/Gas furnace system to an all-electric two (2) stage heat pump, replaced all ductwork, created a custom metal platform, new electrical, and installed new registers. The team had our system, which required a crane, installed in one-day on our roof, which required North Air to coordinate with our roofer during the day of the install. Vigen was even able to obtain a structural engineer on short notice to get the permits completed. On top of all of that, Vigen informed our family of the huge rebate the city has for heat pumps! Thank you North Air!

My old HVAC condenser failed during the hottest week of July. I already know I wanted the Trane brand of HVAC products and I contacted North Air and worked with Vigen. I had a great experience! Vigen took great care of me and always returned calls as promised. North Air fit me into their busy schedule and in four hours, did a complete system replacement with a 16 SEER Trane system. I nice neat and clean install in a very short amount of time. I really want to thank Vigen for their professionalism, on-time arrival and a very clean installation. NorthAir was a great choice for my AC upgrade. I got a professional in-home assessment, emailed quotes of several options at several price-points, financing, and a great job done in 3 days. All the workers were professional and courteous, and Vigen stayed most of the time to supervise and do the more complex or detailed work himself. All along the way, he explained what they were finding, what they were doing, and why. He tested the system with me present and demonstrated the controls to me before leaving. He even came back the next day for a follow up to check on everything. My AC is working great now! I am pleased that I chose NorthAir to do the job.

My A/C air handler had a slow leak that eventually turned into a full gush of water coming down from the unit as the coils were extremely dirty and needed to be replaced. I had a very old air handler that had not been repaired and maintained well. The first person I called barely spoke english and did not really know much about A/C which is why I called North Air. Vigen from North Air recommended a new unit as my old unit was beyond repair due to the age of the unit. Vigen and crew were very professional and installed my new air handler quickly and efficiently. By 1 PM I had a functional(and a lot better cooling) A/C. Perfect timing as the weather in So. Cal is reaching triple digits daily now. Thank you for the quick turnaround!

Let me start by saying that Vigen lived up to his word, which (as a customer) is extremely high praise. Our 36 year-old rooftop Central AC quit over Labor Day weekend and Vigen came out on a holiday at no extra charge and gave an estimate to fix it. My wife and I elected to replace the unit instead, and Vigen gave us several options, but recommended a unit that was $2500 more than my neighbors had paid for theirs. He explained that the AC units my neighbors bought were insufficient and not as high quality as the one he recommended, and offered financing options to make the purchase more manageable for us. After speaking with my neighbors, Vigen was proven 100% right -- they admitted they regret their purchase and wish they had spent more, like we did. Vigen finished the job for the price he promised and we now have a whisper-quiet, energy efficient unit that should last us for years to come. Thank you!

These guys were able to make it out to me the within a few hours and get my A/C back in working order. North Air’s experienced installer Vigen installed our new Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system. His name is Vigen, but he is not a vegetarian. Our house was a 1950 house with no AC and no working furnace. So, we need an Air Conditioning (AC) system, ducts, 7 registers, 2 air returns, a thermostat, a Heat Exchanger, Forced Air Unit and a Furnace. Also, we had North Air remove our old non-working furnace from the crawl space.Vigen, an installer with 30 years of experience, managed the installation with one additional 30-year installer and two junior installers. Vigen met with us when we wanted a competitive quote against seven other installation companies. He explained the whole process better than the competing company’s sales and installation personnel. He gave an approximate estimation before he left the first day and followed up with a formal quote the next day in person. Both quotes matched and his quote was a better value. He offered a more efficient system for slightly less than the other companies. He also recommended an attic exhaust fan, which added very little cost to the estimate but did seem to make sense. Your attic gets 10-30 degrees hotter than the air outside because your roof heats up in the sun. So, an attic fan automatically runs when your attic gets hot, and it reduces your attic temperature about 15-degrees. A 15-degree cooler attic already reduces the temperature in your house before the AC starts, and it also makes it easier for your AC to cool the house. Even on hot July days, I don’t need to turn on the AC until late in the afternoon.North Air was able to start the installation close to the dates we wanted. North Air even coordinated with an Electrical Contractor we brought in to upgrade our Electrical Panel. North Air can do the Electrical Panel upgrade themselves and can install all the electrical connections for HVAC systems, but we wanted to use our own Electrical Contractor and North Air was fine with that. The North Air team came very well prepared with extra parts and tools to deal with any situation that arose. Our crawl space non-working furnace was too big to come out of the crawl space access or through the whole for the old registers in the floor. So that we did not have to make a big cut in our hard wood floors the North Air team got out their cutting tools and cut the old furnace apart so they could remove it though existing holes and access ways. The remove all the old parts of the non-working furnace and capped gas line.The North Air Team did very good work and was well prepared to do the work quickly. They worked well with other contractors working at our house at the same time. Vigen, the managing installer, was very knowledgeable, met with us over 6 times in the process in addition to the installation days. He explained may aspects of the process to us and he answered questions from about a dozen phone calls we made to him. He was always willing to take the time to explain things to us and was glad to meet with us repeatedly. He developed his estimates quickly and stuck to his estimates. He took care of any issue that arose. We are very happy with the process of getting a new HVAC from North Air and we agree that Vigen is a very good and very experienced managing installer.

Vigen, the owner, knows what he is doing! My 25+ year AC unit was not responding. I called North Air after a failed attempt with another company. Vigen came out to my condo and climbed the 3 story ladder to the roof to check the AC. After some thorough assessing and some repeat visits to try and fix the machine (new parts and all) it was ultimately determined that a new unit was needed. He was very clear and upfront about the problems (cracked cylinder, carbon monoxide leaks, etc) and the costs. His experience is very evident. Vigen and his crew installed the new AC unit and I am very very pleased. Recommending to my neighbors since they are probably going to be facing the same issues soon.

The first time we turned on our heater this winter, it wasn’t blowing any warm air. We called another company, they came out and told us that our system was “dead” and would have to be replaced for $10K. I called North Air for a second opinion and I’m very glad I did. Turned out that our system was not dead we didn’t need the 5 parts that the other company had replaced trying to find the problem. Our problem was in fact VERY simple. A spider web was clogging a gas line. North Air saved me $10k that I would have spent on a new system.

He really cares about what we need and delivers in a timely manner. My air conditioner died in 100degree temps and Vigen and his crew made sure to replace as quickly as possible. I Highly Recommend North Air. Hands down The Best!!!

They were on time and very professional. They even upgraded us to a more expensive thermostat at no additional charge. Were very happy with the job they did!

Just today I had the pleasure of making Vigans acquaintance, as I called in asking for some help troubleshooting my A/C heating unit in my studio. He was super knowledgeable and very patient with me as we tried to figure out what could be the problem. Eventually we figured out that it was nothing more that user error and that I had set the unit to operate in the wrong mode. Ultimately, he spent a good amount of his time trying to help me, and when we figured out it was something so trivial, he laughed and had a wonderful sense of humor about it. I tried to insist that I pay him for his time and he just refused. Great guy.

Big thanks for a quick turnaround from North Air. Vigen was able to replace my troubled blower within 24 hours -- this amid a 100 degree July weekend. My 14-year-old Trane unit is now blowing stronger with cooler air giving me hope I can go another 14. See you in 2034!

So of all things that could possibly go wrong, except for possibly a sewer clog, our HVAC system stopped functioning today. Two days before Christmas! The last folks that serviced us did a terrible job and the vice president of the company came out to help us. Charged us $129.00 for five minutes work clearing out cobwebs from the furnace burners!Today I researched North Air because of a neighbors recommendation. Called them. They showed up on time and immediately assessed the problem and fixed it right away. They also advised us of other issues that may come up soon with our system but said it wasnt time to spend the extra money to fix them now.Vigen, the person who came and corrected this issue for us on a busy holiday weekend was honest, direct to the point, and did not attempt to upsell us on anything! I will continue to call them for all of my HVAC needs!!
