This is the best Electrician company in the Brazos Valley. Do not call anyone else, this business is who you need to have all your electrical work done through. The technician that came to my house was named Justin, and he gave me one of the best interactions Ive ever had with a business. He was extremely kind and helpful, and gave me a concise rundown of the pricing and warranty deals for the work he performed. He was very quick with the repairs and installation, and answered every question I had for him. I will be calling Gilmore Electric in the future to install new lighting in my house and I pray Justin is the Electrician that comes back to my house to perform the installations. I hope Gilmore sees this review and gives Justin some form of a reward, hopefully a raise, because he deserves it.

We had a new breaker panel installed to bring our system up to code. Zach did an outstanding job with the installation and tested everything thoroughly afterwards. He was extremely meticulous with our install as it presented some unique challenges. In addition, he could not have been more courteous and patient with our questions. Also, Gilmore Electric was very quick to answer our initial call as well as sending all our documents immediately. I highly recommend this company!

Justin and Jack were professional, efficient, and polite when working with me. I like that we walked through the projects and gave me a price in advance. They installed the newest surge protection we wanted, motion sensor, outside plug covers and more. Since this was a house we had recently moved into, Justin could answer questions about changes we might make later. They gave a lot of time on a Friday afternoon instead of rushing off for an early weekend start. Ive used Gilmore Electric before and will call them again for great electricians and service.

I contacted Gilmore Electric Express to provide an estimate for installation of a ceiling fan where none had existed before. Their technician Zach arrived on schedule, and along with his assistant immediately began an overall assessment of the wiring for my house, to ensure the infrastructure could support this additional load (it’s an old house …). He then provided an estimate for the work, with a careful explanation of what that work would entail. I was so impressed with the professionalism of this team, and the price of the service (which fell within our budget, and in line with prior estimates) that I immediately signed up to have the work done. I highly recommend this company.Update:Zach and his associate technician arrived on time, and proceeded with the work we agreed upon at their last visit. Minimal disruption to my home; they left the space as clean as when they arrived, and everything is in order and working beautifully.Once, our ceiling fan arrives and is installed, I hope to post pictures of the completed job.

I had a great experience with Chayce coming out. He was on time and arrived at the very beginning of the time window provided. I knew exactly who was coming because I received a text with his picture in it. He did a complete safety inspection of the entire home after listening to my issue and provided detailed solutions, with honest answers to all of my questions. He also fixed my outlets and did not leave any mess at all. I 100% would reccomend this team. Their office staff is also very helpful!

Had an EV charger installed and mounted by Justin and Jack.I couldnt be happier.I really appreciate that the quote was right on, they didnt try to upsell me stuff I didnt need or add on a bunch of extra charges after-the-fact.They were punctual, with text messages informing me when they were on the way and when theyd arrived.Extremely polite, and respectful! They made sure to cover their shoes upon entry, treated me with respect, and they explained things when asked. They never made me feel like I was bugging them or in their way, even though I likely was.Very happy. Do recommend.

Stop searching and just hire these guys! I needed a whole-house rewiring for a big, very old historical home, and they went way above and beyond to make it not just safe, not just up to code, but wonderful and beautiful. The service tech, max, was a super nice guy and seemed really competent. Ill most likely call him if I need him again. Honestly though, after he left, I felt I paid way too much money ($359) for what was done, which was possibly not much. He opened up the box to check it, which to him everything seemed fine except the box seemed hotter than he expected. But really, that was it. My initial call was bc I had a pool pump seemingly not receiving power - and wanted to see if there was in fact power going to it - it was - just fried. He did tell me what it was going to cost before he opened the lid - so its not that I didnt agree to it - but in retrospect, it just felt like a lot of money when he couldnt really help the issue I called for. Maybe thats just what it cost these days. Youll most likely end up paying much more than the $69 service fee.

He introduced himself, listened to my concerns, then used his nifty tools to investigate the problem. He explained each step along the way. The problem was found, corrected, and double-checked by Max. He offered me additional expert advice on the care and operation of our home fire and CO2 alarms as well as the new 10-year-battery operated alarms now available for homes. Max was extremely polite and thorough with his work. If I have future electrical issues, Ill be sure to call Gilmore and ask for Max.

I have an emergency and I purchased the extra plan for occasions such as this but now it is worth nothing.(Edited) Immediately after writing the previous review I got a call from the office and they were able to pull some strings for us on a Friday afternoon. It takes a lot for me to phone a handyman of any kind, if I can fix it myself I’m going to… when I got into a spot that I could not do something I was dreading having to have someone else come out (you know the feeling). Justin and Dustin were my techs, and frankly I was blown away by their care, attention to detail and quality of work. They listened, asked questions and then got straight to work, it was a tricky one but they stuck with it until they identified the issue and then Fixed it with the same level of professionalism and care. My husband and I first used Gilmore the summer of 2016 when we moved into our new house and need lots of electric work added and updated. Dustin was our tech that first time and we request him by name every time we need something! The secretary is amazing and knows clients by name and who their technicians are.i can’t recommend them enough! When Dustin first came he told us the prices to do everything individually and then he told us about their service plan and what it would save us. He never pressured us either way just told us the facts and showed us the numbers! We ended up enrolling and saved several hundred dollars. We’ve had them work on my moms house and also install new lights in our kitchen, laundry area, bedroom and update fixtures for us. If you need any electrical work done call Gilmore! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Very professional technicians (Chayce and Max)! They were careful to ask whether I wanted them to wear a mask (they came during Covid), called before they came over, wore shoe covers every time they came in the house, explained things thoroughly, and they made sure I was happy with the work. They were able to give me a quote and complete the work the same day, even when I tacked on another project while they were here. I was also able to pay them that day instead of waiting for an elusive invoice. They also did a safety check to make sure the rest of the electrical was safe. When I called to make an appointment, someone answered the phone and got me scheduled right away (thanks, Patrick!). Cons were that it seemed pricey (although I dont have any other quotes to compare it to) and there is a pricing club thing that makes it a bit cheaper, but is more convoluted than I was interested in. Overall, they did an excellent job on my top three requirements (communication, did the thing, prompt invoice) with a lot of nice extras (safety check, conscientious and non-creepy technicians). Just FYI, they price by the job, not parts + labor. Very please to have it done!
