    This company did an outstanding job on our concrete driveway. They really took the time to listen to our ideas and needs put then into reality. They went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. They were very professional and polite. I cant recommend this company enough.     Youre probably reading a lot of reviews as you decide who to use for your project but hopefully, this one catches your eye because I am here to tell you that Kevin and his team are one of the best groups I have ever worked with. From the estimate which was timely and very fair, to showing up when they said they would and putting in a full days work (a rarity I assure you), everything they did was top-notch. Our project was large and involved excavating about 18 feet back from our house and putting in a retaining wall. The team took great care to get every detail right and still managed to complete the work quickly. Everyone who sees the completed project is impressed.

    Everything was fantastic from estimate to completion. Had a driveway and new walks installed. I appreciated how the entire crew treated the project as if they were doing their own property. They took the time to figure out how to do what they felt looked best, and we could not be happier with the way it looks.

    I recently had AVCO pour three concrete pads totaling around 1,000 square feet and wanted to share my experience. I worked with Kevin, who was fantastic throughout the process. He was very clear about what was going to be done and responded to my texts and calls very quickly, which I really appreciated.Overall, I am happy with the concrete pads and the quality of the work. However, I did encounter a few issues that affected my overall experience. These issues werent noticeable until after the work was completed. It was my understanding that once the work was done, I would need to throw down some grass seed and straw, and I was okay with that. However, I was left with more work than I had intended, and that was not communicated to me.I was told they graded the yard the best they could, but its nowhere near good enough for grass seed. It was super wet when the work was done, but now I have to rent a bobcat and a Harley Rake to properly grade the yard or spend days working it with a shovel. Additionally, there is trash and debris in the soil (bricks, trash, old corrugated pipe, etc.).I had them install a retaining wall, but the dirt level is higher than the wall. They also damaged the metal trim around my sliding glass door during the demo. The transition from the house to the patio requires a step, which creates a safety concern due to the sliding glass door—you have to step over it and onto the concrete. The drop from the house to the concrete is within the high range for a step height, but it could have been better communicated and executed.For the large patio, I was talked into having them cut in relief joints with a saw, as it would be less intrusive for such a large space. However, the edges of the concrete are crumbling, which doesnt look good.All of my concerns have been communicated to Kevin, and I feel I may have had higher expectations that I didnt specify. While there are some significant added expenses and areas that could have been done better, I am happy with the space overall. If a little more effort was put in, especially for the grading of the lawn, this would definitely be a 5-star review.To those considering AVCO, I suggest you communicate your exact expectations clearly before the work is performed. This is where I fell short.

    Highest recommendations for AVCO Enterprises. Highly skilled excavation and concrete experts, fantastic end-results, next-level customer service, and genuinely nice human beings.Anyone who has had water issues (big or small) in their home knows it’s extremely stressful and we are thrilled with and grateful for the craftsmanship that the AVCO team provided to solve our water issues. Kevin, Dylan, Cody, and Kenny meticulously installed a concrete patio and pad and dug-out three large swales in our yard to route water away from the foundation of our home. As they worked, it was quickly evident that they care deeply about solving people’s water problems plus they pay attention to the details that many contractors overlook. In addition, we’re very thankful that Kevin invested the time to collaboratively work with us to develop a lasting solution.Since AVCO finished the job, storm water flows away from our house without worry. Plus Kevin has followed-up multiple times to verify that the drainage is working as expected. Lastly, all of the work they did looks incredible. We’ve received numerous compliments on the patio!If you have water drainage issues and/or you’re looking for next-level concrete work, I highly recommend contacting AVCO Enterprises.     Avco Enterprizes did 2 projects for us at our home we are older people and we made some changes during the process, Kevin knows how to work with people. The employs Kevin has are well trained and they work, which is hard to fine in todays job market they are very safety conscience about their job. This company does excellent work .
