First time we have had work done on our apartment with no issues with the contractor!They came when they said they would and the work is excellent. They put down brand new floors in the apt and they are beautiful. Also enlarged 2 rooms and built closets for n 3 rooms which are working really well and look great.Really easy to work with and an excellent job.

Joerge and his company are professional, great quality, responsible. I had the 1st floor kitchen remodeled, painted. The second floor new backsplash painted cabinets new counter, flooring all over the house, painted. We are so happy with his work and I will continue using this comoany for my future work. He goes beyong the c9ntract to make sure he fixes anything else that needed to be fixed without charging extra.

Hiring Rambal Contractors was the best decision I could make. I live in Arizona and needed a complete renovation of an apartment in New York occupied by my special needs daughter. I flew there twice and then left everything in Jorge’s hands. He did a superb renovation, but he also helped my daughter make decisions and even went so far as to accompany her to purchase appliances so that they were the right size. He was always on time and his crew worked nine hours days. When unexpected things happened (like finding rot under the bathtub) he revised his plans and the work never stopped. The co-op required permits, licenses and an enormous amount of paperwork. Jorge jumped through hoops and fulfilled all the requirements. I could go on and on about his outstanding craftsmanship and helpfulness beyond the “contract “. I hope this review is believed because it is true that Jorge is that good.

Jorge and his team are incredibly detail-oriented and professional. Jorge is the best contractor my husband and I have ever worked with, he listens to all our crazy ideas and made them come to life, all while guiding us in the right direction. Jorge turned our 1950’s kitchen into a modern kitchen with everything we ask for and some. We cant thank Jorge and his team enough for creating a space for us that we ABSOLUTELY LOVE! I would recommend Rambal to all my friends and family.

Jorge and his company, Rambal, were recommended to us by another highly-rated contractor for our apartment renovation. As we discussed the job with him, we found Jorge to be easy to talk to and a source of creative solutions to some of our design requests. After we hired him, we suffered many COVID-related delays, first from our coop managements work stoppages and then from appliance manufacturer delivery delays. Jorge handled it all with good grace and, now that the job is finished, were very happy with the result. Were happy to recommend him for your renovation.

Ever since I bought my 2 family home, Ive done 5 projects with RAMBAL Contractors. Everything from Kitchen, Bathroom, Stairs, Flooring and Balcony. I am not a contractor myself, but I am definitely a handyman and I can recognize and appreciate good work. The jobs performed have been consistently excellent and reasonably priced. I had the pleasure to get to know the owner, Jorge Rambal and I could tell you that beyond the professionalism- he is a good man and very trustworthy. I had him and his crew work several times when no one was home because I knew I could count on him to be very clean and honest. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to my friends and family!

Jorge was great to work with. He is a serious and detailed worker. He was able to paint and fix all the intricate details of a prewar apartment. Most importantly he delivered the work on time and at the price he had set. I would definitely work with him again.

I was referred to Rambal Contractors by another residential contractor after a previous contractor dropped out of my bathroom renovation project at the very last minute. I am so thankful that I was referred to Rambal and could not have been happier working with Jorge and his team from start to finish.The renovation was in a co-op and as such, there are a myriad of hoops one must jump through in order to get even the smallest renovation approved. COVID-related safety precautions further complicated the process. However, Jorge handled everything perfectly. He filled out all the forms my management company asked for and provided all the necessary licenses in a timely manner. He cross-shopped plumbers (my co-op required someone with a Master Plumber license) to find one at the most competitive price. Based on a couple of quotes I received from other contractors, the price he quoted for the entire project was reasonable.We did a rip and replace bathroom renovation to modernize and improve a bathroom that had been redone at least 20 years prior. We replaced the old cast-iron bathtub with a new cast-iron bathtub, removed wainscoting from the walls, replaced the shower body and shower fixtures, replaced the shower tile, replaced the toilet, replaced the floor tile, and replaced the shelves in our bathroom linen closet.Since the renovation was for the only bathroom in the apartment, my wife and I had to relocate for the duration of the project. Jorge was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. Hed send frequent updates and pictures of the demolition/renovation (he likely would have sent pictures daily if asked). He always checked with us before installing anything to make sure he was doing it the way we wanted. My wife and I didnt use a designer so if we were unsure about something (for example, which direction should the floor tile go), wed ask his opinion and he guided us well. He kept the shared hallway on my apartment floor spotless - the only indication that my bathroom was under renovation was a sign on my front door asking everyone to wear a mask.Jorge initially gave us an estimated timeframe for the project. Even though he lost a couple of days because the building would not let him work on a religious holiday, he was still able to finish right in the middle of his initial quote without sacrificing quality. My bathroom is gorgeous and it is exactly what my wife and I envisioned.I would not hesitate to recommend Rambal Contractors and I have done so twice already. I will definitely contact Jorge first for any project I have in the future.
