    I never leave reviews but for them, I have to! We have had Approved Plumbing to our house twice and both times, they were fantastic. Not only super friendly, down to earth and professional but also took the time to explain what was going on and the options we had which we appreciated greatly. Even the administrative staff were awesome when we called. I would recommend 6 stars if I could. This is the type of service you wish you could get more often! Thank you Approved Plumbing!!

    Russ and Vince from the Broadview Hts shop answered my service call earlier than was scheduled (which was great). Very nice, guys. Russ inspected my water tank and heater (had no hot water) and investigated to find that it wasn’t the heater at all, but the gas company had turned of my gas without notification due to a leak and repaired it, again without notification and failed to turn it on without me calling.Russ was willing to stay if needed to check everything but it turned out the gas company took car of testing appliances once the gas was back on.I’ve used Approved Plumbing a number of times over the years and they have always been a great company to work with.Thank you!

    I requested that Approved Plumbing send someone with experience because my H.W. tank was making very loud noises. I am pleased to say that Russ Fox and Joe were the best team that I could have had, because Russ checked out my dishwasher and bath room shower. He decided to install a hammer device on the dishwasher line and replaced the H.W. tank. I had previously used a large well known plumbing company, but their only solution was to install a pressure regulator on my cold water feed line. Russ checked our cold water pressure and said that we did not need a regulator. Approved Plumbing has a new customer.Also, Jenny, the receptionist was very efficient in listening to my needs and sending out someone that I would like.

    The technician arrived right on time. He was very professional explaining the situation to me. He went through several troubleshooting efforts and provided me with several alternatives to resolve my issue. My issue was with my well and he said that Approved Plumbing doesnt always work on wells, therefore referred me to several local plumbers who are more experienced dealing with wells. I would recommend Approved Plumbing and Nick (technician) to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

    Justin and Russ did a fantastic job replacing the water heater in our basement during the storm last week, with our power out. They both did a fantastic job in explaining issues and have gotten the job done in the same day. Everyone at ApprovedPlumbing does a great job at ensuring you understand and are comfortable with any fixes that need to be made. They waved the service fee with replacement costs, waved a future service fee on a few possible areas should the need arise, and provided additional warranties on their fixes on top of the manufacturers.

    Sam and his assistant did a wonderful, excellent and beautiful job with replacing my leaking 47 gallon Lowboy water heater in a very tight confined cubby in my condo. Sam came out on a Tuesday to go over everything that was needed and quoted me for the work and the next day on Wednesday he came back to replace the bad water tank and bad piping with all new. Sam, his assistant and Approved Plumbing are all AAAAA+++++!!! We all need a million more of people like Sam!!!     My tankless water heater broke over the weekend! I called Sunday morning and Jeff returned my call within the hour and helped get me on the schedule immediately. I had someone at my house Monday, 10:00am. Nick (the technician) was fantastic, he called to go over pricing and options before anything was done. We agreed on the best way to move forward and he actually helped save me some money. He was nice, down to earth and respectful. I will absolutely call Approved Plumbing for any future needs and I will recommend to all my family & friends!

    I have had two projects done by Approved Plumbing. A toilet had to be replaced. It was done by Justin and his assistant. They did the job and removed all debris and left my house clean.The second project was smaller and was done a few days later. It required replacing the drain hoses on my washing machine and repairing a water line valve. This time the service tech was Russ. Again, the job was done in a timely manner and my house was left clean.I also talked to their dispatcher Jan. She was very helpful getting everything schedule .This whole experience was very good for me. The people that did the work were friendly and answered all my questions. I am going to be a larger project later this year and I am definitely giving the job to Approved Plumbing.

    Mike diagnosed a long-term plumbing issue that my mom has been having. He came out to the house and was very thoughtful and helpful about how we move a washer and dryer unit to a different area of the house.     Sam came for an emergency at our house on a Monday eve. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He does excellent work and goes above and beyond.     I needed a new sink faucet, but I use a water filter on the spout, and the selected faucet didnt have the correct hookup for it. Nick, from Approved Plumbing, problem solved obtaining a fixture to add to the faucet to make it fit. It works very well. The faucet is beautiful as well.

    On 3/14/24 Russ F. and assistant Joe did a home plumbing inspection. Russ check my kitchen, laundry, basement, water heater and bath plumbing. He told me what was good, fair or what needed attention. He also gave me his recommendations and what I should look out for. I can always trust Russ F. and Approved Plumbing to be honest and not try to sell me something I do not need.For the past 35 plus years I have called Approved Plumbing for every plumbing need. In 2020 Russ Fox did a beautiful job remodeling my bathroom. On Saturday (Sept 23, 2023) afternoon we smell gas by our furnace and called the gas co. The gas co had to shut off our gas due to the gas leak. We were told all the pipes had to be check for a gas leak before they would turn the gas back on. We called Approved Plumbing and spoke with Jeff. Jeff stated he would contact the person on call. Russ Brandy came within 2 hours and found 7 leaks in our home - many were in the ceiling. It took over 8 hours to find all of them. Needless to say we avoided an accident from happening. You can always count on Approved Plumbing for being professional, reliable, and leaving the area they worked on clean.

    I have been using Approved Plumbing for several years and have done everything from a faucet replacement to a bathroom remodel. Plumbing work isnt inexpensive but I know with Approved Plumbing I can trust that the work has been done right. I am currently working with Russ B on a second bathroom remodel and appreciate his suggestions and know that the job will be done at the same level of quality that he would do on his own home. All the plumbers I have worked with from Approved have been great to work with and never make me feel like my questions are ignorant (even if they really are!).

    I recently called Approved Plumbing on 1/16/2024 for frozen pipes, I have to mention that Nick, Joey, Michael and Jeff are very professional and knowledgeable. They defrosted my frozen pipes and discovered the root cause of missing insulation around the pipes. Jeff was able to fit into the small cut-out in a skylight shaft to insert insulation rolls over the exposed pipes! Thank you to everyone for saving my home from a pipe burst! You will always have my business and I truly appreciate how hard everyone worked at my house to remediate this issue.Two days later (1/19), called Approved Plumbing after discovering that the water would not go down my toilet even after plunging, I thought the line was frozen since I had frozen pipes a few days earlier (Approved Plumbing as amazing in the remediation of the frozen pipes ). Mike and Justin came and discovered with a line camera that there was a blockage 33 feet out in the main line. Mike mentioned that Sam was the expert at the machine (rooter?) to cut away any obstructions. Sam, Justin W., and Jeff came back out later that day and worked from 4pm to 9pm to ensure the blockage of tree roots was cleared in the middle of a snowstorm (they also had to work outside at times in the snow at the yard clean-out pipe!) Approved plumbing will always be my first call. Very professional and respectful in cleaning up your home after the job is completed.

She was professional, personable and provided excellent scheduling service, communications and follow through. Russ, the plumber, was on time, assessed the uniqueness of the requirements and offered solutions that worked. He was diligent to detail, respectful of our property, explained his tasks and was successful in a timely completion of the project.     I am so happy I found this company. Luke and John did a wonderful job. They were knowledgeable, quick and focused, hard-working, and such nice people. They worked so well together and were very friendly. Luke ran everything by me before he did it, told me how much it was going to be, gave me options, and told me about some warranty features on faucets I already owned that I was unaware of (e.g., Moen replaces parts for free). They replaced my kitchen faucet (and soap dispenser!) and fixed my shower and tub faucet. They did it quickly and both look and work perfectly.

    I was so incredibly impressed with my experience with Advanced Plumbing Company. They were amazing from beginning to end. It started with just returning my phone call. Laura was great with talking to me and getting me scheduled with a very quick turnaround. She was personable and nice and easy to work with. She called me, day of, to confirm and let me know that they were slightly behind, but still in the window that they originally committed to.Then Carl showed up and really impressed me. His level of knowledge around diagnosing and his poise to get into it and get it done was great. He looked at a couple issues I was having and made great recommendations, even taking the opportunity to quiz Steve on what one of the issues was. It was really impressive to watch. You can tell that Carl is a master of his craft. He was personable and I knew what I was paying for before they even started work. He made sure I was satisfied before they left, and made some additional recommendations for us to think about moving forward. I will definitely be using Advanced for all of my future plumbing needs (of which there are a few more to work through).

    This company goes out of its way to provide excellent service. Ive posted positive reviews of Approved Plumbing in the past, but I wanted to report my most recent experience as well. I called at 3:30 p.m. on a Thursday because I had a leak in a bathroom faucet. Laura, the scheduler, was very polite and accommodating. She contacted her technicians and immediately found one who was able to handle this emergency job. Luke and his assistant arrived at my house shortly and completed the work in about an hour. They were professional and businesslike, yet kind and helpful in answering my questions. I highly recommend this company!

    I have never wrote a review. I actually chose them because of their reviews and so glad I did. I was expecting them to tell me the problem was worse than it ended up being. They quoted a price to fix and ended up taking less time and they actually reduced the price. Most places I believe would not of done that. I will always call them when I have an issue because I find them very trustworthy As a side note, I called another company first and all they did for the first 5 minutes on the phone was trying to do a hard sales pitch on a program they had. I told them I just want to get someone out. They continued with the sales pitch. This company did none of that.

    Had them out for two jobs and one emergency call at our office building and couldnt be happier. Our building is about 25 years old and presented some unique challenges which Nick, Sam, Jeff, and their assistants handled flawlessly. During our biggest job (which was an after-hours shutdown), Nick and Jeff really went above and beyond to ensure the job got done and got done right. I work with a lot of contractors and it has been quite some time since Ive worked with any with the level of workmanship and professionalism that these folks have.     This was our first experience with the Approved Plumbing Company and we could not be more pleased. It started with Sharon in scheduling who could not have been more empathetic to our issue. She worked diligently to get us scheduled and when an earlier time slot opened she was on the phone immediately to let us know of the better time slot.Service Tech Carl was prompt and right on time. Conscious of COVID issues he was masked, booted and appropriately social distant. His explanation of the work throughout the process was very professional.     Weve used Approved Plumbing a few times now, and theyve been excellent every time. Reliable, professional, and their work is impeccable. I feel safe having them in my house, especially because I get a photo of who will be doing the work ahead of time.The biggest project weve hired them to do so far was adding plumbing and a half bath to our top floor. It was a big job, but they finished it on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption at home. We are extremely happy with their work.We especially appreciate Russ Fox. Hes researched and estimated a couple of tough projects for us, and has always figured out a way to get them done efficiently and cost effectively. Hes friendly, and takes pride in his work.

    Mike R conducted a site visit and we discussed options for my plumbing problem. Mike was able to quote stages and pricing for each stage and the work was done within those parameters. Mike followed-up as was needed and was extremely pleasant to work with. The work onsite was completed by Russ, John and Luke. All were hard working ,professional and completed the project as planned and always left the work area clean at the end of each day. Sharon and Laura were polite and handled my calls and questions and they called each morning to tell me the team was on the way. Dennis also made a site visit. I cannot say enough about the quality of work done by the Approved Plumbing Team.

    Left a voice mail for the company, not an emergency, on a Sunday and received a phone call shortly after they opened on Monday. A technician was available that afternoon and would arrive between 1 and 3. Received a call 20 minutes before he was to arrive indicating he was on his way and he showed up as promised. The tech was knowledgeable and personable, provided an assessment of the problem and costs for repair. He did not have the proper equipment to complete the repair and indicated he would be back at 9 the following morning and again received a call indicating he was on his way. The repair was completed and left the area clean.Im very impressed with the service and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

    Nick was my tech assigned to remove all piping and faucet under my kitchen sinks.He removed terrible piping, a garbage disposal, and a faulty kitchen faucet.He rebuilt everything and installed a new faucet to the highest quality standards. We were super impressed with the quality of his work and the mindfulness he put into the job to correct the obvious shortcomings of the last plumber that installed the sink and countertop.I also had him replace another faucet in one of my bathrooms since he was at our location. I was referred to Approved Plumbing by another local tradesman and will definitely be using this business again! Excellent local business thats been around for a long time.

    Approved Plumbing was recommended to us by our kitchen contractor. We added natural gas service to our home and Carl did the work. Carl was prompt, honest, courteous and respectful. He explained what was being done in understandable terms. Yesterday he was here to find and repair a leak in our kitchen plumbing (it needs to be noted that Approved Plumbing did not install the garage disposal). I am very pleased with Approved Plumbing and highly recommend them.

    I was very pleased with the work performed by Approved Plumbing. They seemed eager to help me solve the problem, compared to other plumbing companies I contacted who didnt return my calls or failed to keep appointments. Carl, Luke and Larry were prompt, courteous and did great work. Sharon in the the office was also very good to deal with and did a great job coordinating all the inspections that had to be done once the work was complete. Approved is the only plumbing company I will call in the future.

    Jeff, Russ, and Sam were courteous and professional throughout a multi-day project to replace all of our drain lines and sewer venting. They worked late and started early in order to minimize the disruption to our home and made sure we could use our shower again before the weekend. Everyone that I dealt with was very professional from my initial phone call with Dennis, scheduling with Sharon, and of course the two technicians that came to perform the service Luke and Russ B. I had been having issues with some old cast iron drain pipe in my bathroom that was behind the wall. I had wanted it removed and replaced with PVC. Luke and Russ were extremely clean and courteous. They needed to cut out a section of drywall to access the drain pipe (they were able to remove a much smaller section than I was expecting which was a relief).     Had Russ from approved plumbing come out today to deal with a shower that was not draining. He was on time very upfront and respectful about everything going on and discovered the problem very quickly. Ended up replacing the drains and some of the pipe and trap that was associated with the shower. They were very corroded and clogged up. Also ended up sneaking the other pipes which will eventually need to be replaced but are okay for the time being. Just have to say that we are very happy with everyone at the business and with Russ who came out today and the work that he performed he walked my wife through every step and make sure she knew what was going on.     Today we had Approved Plumbing come to our house to repair a leaking faucet in our powder room and to replace the faucets to our washer that had also been leaking.     My hot water tank broke and they were able to fit me in first thing the next day, despite calling them later in the day. They gathered all the information they needed (what was installed, how old, serial numbers, etc.) and came with everything they needed to repair or replace. In my case, they quickly assessed that the tank was irreparable and had to be replaced. They already had a replacement tank ready to go and were able to completely remove the old one and install the new one in a couple of hours. Everyone was very nice, informative, professional, and the whole process was organized and smooth. Mike, the installer, was really great.If I had a suggestion, I would say it might have been nice if they discussed the possibility of needing replacement when I called in and asked for a price range I was comfortable with, so they could pick a tank that I was prepared for in case it did have to be replaced. However, I realize its probably not feasible to predict what the situation is going to be like and what will work for a particular site, so its probably not fair to penalize them for that.

    Approved Plumbing repaired a chronic problem tub drain the same day I phoned for service. The drain had been slow since I occupied the house purchased in 1987. Probable cause was lack of adequate venting, as explained to me by a plumber over 25 years ago. Luke and Russ, from Approved evaluated the problem and called their supervisor Mike for a third opinion. Mike arrived quickly, reviewed the problem and suggested the installation of an Air Admittance Valve, an option not available years ago. While the total price was expensive (-1 star), the knowledge and craft practiced by Luke and Russ allowed them to complete the job to my satisfaction. I never sensed I was being sold something I didnt need and the result is a tub drain that works like never before. Integrity and pride were obvious, and they left the job site spotless. Kudos to Luke and Russ and a special thanks to Mike for evaluating the problem and offering a solution!

    If I could give 6 stars, Id give 7. From the office to the field, Approved Plumbing is an extremely professional and personable company that delivers exceptional quality and follows through on their promises. We set out to design and create a new master bath on the second floor of our 1926 home. The room to be transformed was formerly a closet/guest bedroom, so it required new plumbing service and tie-in to an adjacent bath. This was a DIY project, but there was no way we were tackling the plumbing. Way beyond our skills. So, we contacted 7 contractors; from one-man bands that do everything to a major general contractor who were friends with, to other companies that focus on plumbing and related systems, to the company that takes care of our steam boiler system that also does plumbing. Approved was one of the first companies we contacted based on their BBB ratings and website. Mike came out to evaluate the project for quoting. Unlike every other company, he spent more than an hour meticulously assessing our complete plumbing system and coming up with a game plan. He said it would take a week to get a quote turned around, and he delivered on what he promised. He also included pricing to complete the entire project, but didnt try to sell us or become distracted when we told him we only wanted the plumbing. At first we thought that the Approved quote was high, but we quickly realized differently. While the other guys may have been slightly lower, they delivered general estimates with vague conditions, leaving so much up to unforeseen circumstances, which basically means youre going to pay more through change orders, get frustrated, and feel trapped. And most of them spent fewer than 30 minutes evaluating conditions, asking few questions and never assessing the complete plumbing infrastructure. For the couple of companies that came close to Mikes thoroughness and responsiveness, they were easily eliminated by the lack of follow-up and response from the office. With Approved, Sharon and Laura were exceptionally responsive to both technical and quotation changes with typical turnaround within a day. And if they couldnt respond immediately, they would let us know when and then actually follow through. This was a key differentiator in our decision because we feel strongly that it reflects how (and if) the project will be managed and completed on time. So, after three months of monkeying around with quotes, the choice was clear. The decision was Approved, and it could not have been a better decision. Mike (30+ years experience) and his team of Luke (4+years experience) and Orlando (Apprentice) showed up in leak-free trucks, clean and ready to cover every inch of the working areas with tarps, wrapped the carpeted stairs in protective plastic and went to work. Because this was DIY, they were very patient (but realistic) in working with our design and offering improvements based on their experience and what was right for achieving an optimum plumbing system. They were excellent communicators in explaining the work to be performed and at no time made us feel like we had to compromise to make it easier for them. The project took 4 days (plus 1/2 for city inspection). Every morning we received a call from Sharon or Laura to let us know the guys were on their way. At the end of every day they explained and showed us what had been completed and what should be expected the next day. If they had uncertainties, they asked and didnt assume. When a complication arose (and they always do), they had options to discuss and took our insight seriously. By the end of the project, we felt like part of their team and that we got the best deal ever. Everything passed with flying colors. We cannot say enough good things about Approved Plumbing. If youre noticing that its next to impossible to find quality, skilled tradespeople to complete your plumbing project, its probably because you havent contacted Approved.

    Have had an incident recently where when I flushed my toilet...there would be a horrendous foghorn sound that makes the floor vibrate. I called Approved Plumbing at nearly 9am and they were there at 10am the SAME DAY...no 4 hour timeframe. Mr. Russ Brady was so conscientious and professional. He explained all of what it could be and what they may need to do. I kid you not...he flushed the toilet...the sound came again...he took the top off of the toilet and just touched it...and it went away!!! I started calling him The Messiah...with one touch...it went away. It may be funny...but its true. He had it fixed in no less than 20 mins.
