Fossati Plumbing is far and away the best service Ive had since becoming a homeowner. When it was time for us to replace an old water heater that had begun to leak, I called and left a message and was promptly reached out to by Richie. He was able to give me an extremely fair estimate over the phone and an appointment for the next day to have a new water heater installed. Mike did a great job with the new water heater installation and was extremely professional. My whole experience with Fossati plumbing was exceptional, and I will highly recommend them to anyone in need.

I called Fossati plumbing because of a need to change a shower cartridge. They responded within 90 min, were professional, competent, and had the replacement cartridge on the truck. For me this was the most valuable asset because we did not have to wait for the part and the shower was back to functioning within minutes. As for price, I feel the charges were high but do not base that on any cost comparisons.

We found Fossati Plumbing after a copper pipe above our living room developed a pinhole and started leaking. I called and spoke to Ritchie, Jr. at around 11am and he sent his tech over within a few hours. Mike examined the problem, explained exactly what he would do to correct it, and went right to work. The job was finished within the previously specified timeframe and everything looked great! We were so happy with their service that we had them price several jobs around the house that we had been putting off. Today they installed a full-house water softner for us, extended the hose bib in our side yard because the faucet was inexplicably located under the deck when we moved in, and changed a shower head in the bathroom. Mike did outstanding work on all three projects and explained everything along the way. When I spoke to Ritchie on the phone, he answered all my questions and was super patient. We still have additional work to do in the house, so its great to be working with a company that is honest, fair and reliable. I recommend them highly...very professional and excellent at what they do!

I had called Fossati Plumbing for an issue my mother in law was having at her mobile home (which arent easy to work on). Jeff was on site the next day diagnosing the issues and scheduled an appointment for later in the week (these were maintenance issues, not emergencies). I was given a fair price and the work was done when they said it would be. I am lucky to have had pretty good experiences with plumbing companies in the past, but Fossati was by far the most professional. They have a thorough and competent team from appointment setting to billing. Very neat and professional. Id definitely hire them again. Thank you Fossatis!

They were very quick with their responses and scheduling. Even suggested I do some of the demo/patch work to help keep the cost down. Rich and his team were absolutely amazing. They walked me through everything that needed to be done to repair an old shower and they did a fantastic job. Since they were already there, I asked about a water softening system not knowing it was one of their specialties and added that on too - the difference it has made already is unbelievable. Prices were super reasonable based on other quotes I received and they did everything completely by the book. I havent had any issues with the work but I know if I did, they would be super responsive. Plumbing issues are the actual worst and they made the experience, dare I say, pleasant. I highly recommend giving them a call for your plumbing and water softening needs.

Honestly, I cant say enough good things about Fossati Plumbing & Heating.Before working with Fossati, I tried working with and calling a number of other plumbers. Most of them never responded at all. Some did at first, but then disappeared. It was incredibly frustrating. And forget trying to use the website; it was like a blackhole of nothingness.After googling plumbers, I found Fossatis website, expecting another terrible experience. I entered my information. TO MY SURPRISE, within minutes I got a call back, discussed my issues in detail with Rich, the owner. Knowledgeable, helpful, and professional across the board. FINALLY! A company that gets it!Within an hour I had an estimate via email, a scheduled appointment, and text messages confirming all of the information we just discussed. I had tried two plumbers before I was lucky enough to get in touch with Fossati Plumbing. One didnt return my call, the other didnt show up for the estimate. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure dealing with Fossati Plumbing & Heating! Upon calling, Deanna immediately set me up with an appointment since my husband and I only have one shower in the house. Jeff came out the following day, he was prompt & cheerful! We went over pricing before any work was performed, I felt the price was fair and he proceed to do the repair. He located the leak right away and got to work on it. When Jeff completed the job it was neat & tidy. I would definitely use them again and have recommended them to friends and family!

Excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable technicians. I woke up on my only day off to a leak under my kitchen sink. When I opened the cabinet door, there was a layer of water that started dripping out onto the floor. It was my only day off that week and they accommodated me that afternoon in spite of their busy schedule, which was greatly appreciated. Their tech even cleaned up the water under the sink for me. Excellent, honest, and respectful plumbing company. Rich, Richie and Mike were knowledgeable and very helpful. I have a 50 gal. water heater that services the house and also heats the 2nd floor, via a hydro coil. I was having trouble getting enough hot water, in a timely manner to the master bath that is located the furthest away from the heater. It has double sinks, a shower and a large jacuzzi tub. So, I did some research and contacted multiple plumbers to have a hot water recirculation pump installed assuming this would help resolve the issue. I am very glad I discovered Fossati Plumbing, because Rich had extensive experience and explained why a recirculation pump would likely be ineffective due to the size of the tub, especially during the winter when the 2nd floor is being heated. In the end, I decided to have a 2nd 80 gal water heater installed that services the master bath only. This was without a doubt the right way to go. We now have plenty of instant hot water, including the large tub and my wife is very happy!!! I recommend Fossati Plumbing to everyone. My husband called Fossati Plumbing and the gentleman tried to explain to my husband how to unscrew it over the phone. After 2 trips to home depot on the same day to buy the tool to unscrew. We noticed pipe was corroding and leaking which was a bigger problem. I called that evening Fossati Plumbing the very nice lady answered and said her husband or son would get back to me immediately. I was trying to shut off and drain my hose spigot for the season, grabbed the handle for the valve and it broke off right in my hand! Lucky for me it wasnt leaking. I called Fossati Plumbing and they gave me an appointment the next day. The support staff was really nice, they didnt try to rush me off the phone and were willing to work with my crazy schedule. Their plumber showed up on time, was very neat and professional. He explained everything to me before hand. He even told me the cost up front which I appreciated very much. This way there were no surprise charges. He was super respectful of my home. He took off his shoes when he came in and when he left it didnt even look like he had been there! They reviewed pictures I sent in order to diagnose the problem and come to the appointment with the right parts. Rich verbally walked through the estimate with me and then followed up with an electronic estimate for approval before scheduling the work. Rich and his son came to the house to replace the basket strainer and dishwasher tailpiece. Fossati Plumbing has provided great service over the years. Recently had problem with hardly any water pressure from hot and cold water faucets in upstairs bathroom. Over the phone the Fossati plumber told me how to make the simple fix myself and avoid paying any fees for having someone come out to make the fix. It was an easy fix and it worked. Thanks guys!

This was the second time Rich and his son did work at our house. We needed them to replace a kitchen faucet. I purchased the parts and the faucet was pretty much an exact duplicate of the one we had. They were professional, did great work, and had the new faucet installed in about 45 mins or less. My only complaint is I do think we were overcharged. The job which did not include parts was almost 700$. Dont get me wrong the job was done well but 700$ for a faucet replacement that went in with no issues and took them under an hr? Shame on me for not questioning the estimate.

Ive spent several days searching for a qualified plumber in the Dutchess County, N.Y. region to change a water valve on my parents System 2000 furnace setup. When all others failed to return my call or not show up to provide an estimate to perform the job, Rich at Fossati Plumbing and Heating stepped up to the plate and knocked my request out of the Ballpark! Not only was he very professional and responsive to my asks. He was extremely knowledgeable. His resolve to solve my problem did not cost me a cent either! It turns out, the valve I was looking to replace did not require its replacement just yet. If and when it its time, Rich guaranteed he would be there to fix the problem and at a fair cost to bat. I had a leak in my pool heater line received a phone call from for Fossati plumbing within minutes. Rich was in my home within 1 hr assessing my problem. He told me what I needed, my prior plumber was unable to find the part. I told Rich I would scour the web. Found the part I need receive the part on Saturday, contacted Rich he promptly returned I reply. Today 5/21/18 my problem is fixed. I should also add that the first time I spoke to Fossati plumbing was 5/15/18 so in less than a week I am good to go. I had been waiting for over a month with prior plumber trying to find the part.Thanks Fossati plumbing and Rich for responding so quickly. I first learned of Fossati Plumbing when we had a Thanksgiving Day emergency with our boiler. They would have come (when no one else even considered it) but from photos and descriptions of the problem, they needed a part at the supplier and the soonest they could do so was the day after. They explained what to do in the meantime to tide us over.From then on we are loyal customers. Now during the pandemic we were a little reluctant to have any work done but were immediately reassured by their precautions and expertise. I called Fossati Plumbing & Heating and they diagnosed the problem before even coming out to look at it! I was having trouble with getting enough hot water to our main bathroom tub. I called another local plumbing company who asked me to send pictures of my hot water heater and then gave me a $3,700 estimate to replace it. I asked them to come take a look to be sure that was necessary, and they said for $175 they would make a service call. I asked them to deduct this from the cost of a new hot water heater purchase and installation if we decided that was necessary, and they said that they didnt do that.Then I called Rich Fossati. He got back to me in a few hours, listened carefully to the issue I was having, looked at pictures I sent him, and then gave me advice for free for how to make adjustments myself. He also laid out options if that did not work--buying a mixer for a few hundred dollars, or if that was not sufficient, replacing the hot water heater with an electric one. Throughout, Rich treated me as someone he was collaborating with, and with a focus on not wasting my money. So far, the adjustments he recommended have worked, but when I need more plumbing work done, I will be sure to call Fossati Plumbing.

Last week with the frigid low temps disaster struck with four pipes freezing and bursting in a outside wall in my home. Listening to the water spraying out in the wall was heart wrenching and I felt helpless. I immediately call a few plumbers with two picked up by answering machines and one to busy to help, I then called Fossati plumbing and not only did they pick up the phone but was greeted by a nice young girl Deanna who immediately got Debi in the office to help guide me and explain how to shut off main water valve to stop the water from pouring out in my walls. Once that water was stopped, they quickly got my info and called there tech Jeff who was very busy with other freeze up work to come over and assess the damage. Upon his arrival Jeff and his helper immediately took to Work, cut open wall in two spots, very neatly I might add while being cautious of my wood floors and furniture. Jeff found the pipe leaks very fast and had them repaired and water turned back on within about a hour then cleaned up like nothing happened, with the exception of two small holes for my carpenter to repair . Come to find out Fossati plumbing and heating is a family owned and operated business and has been around for over 30 years. All in all Fossati plumbing and heating did a fantastic job from the phone call to repairs. I couldn’t be happier and now have them in my phone contacts on speed dial in case of any other plumbing repairs needed in the future. Would give 6 star rating if available! Fossati Plumming has come to my rescue once agin. I have nothing but wonderful praises for Jeff who came to my house late at night, Debi and Diana who I spoke to in the office and that I found to be very helpful and accommodating. I had two broken water pipes in two different rooms of my house and I was in a panic but thank God and Fossati plumming for their prompt and professional response. I know I will use them again and I would recommend them to my family and friends.
