    Starting the year off on a positive note. We needed some electrical work done in the fall of 2024 - outlet fixed and replace some light fixtures. Read the reviews and tried Taconic Electric and was very pleased with the results. The work was professional, and the cost was most reasonable. Definitely recommend Taconic Electric.

    I recently had two electrical issues at my house and I called Taconic Electric. They came out and gave me an estimate and we set up a day for the work to be done. The technician showed up right on time and quickly got to work. He was friendly, efficient and diligent. Icing on the cake, he vacuumed the area where he worked. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future.

    Cannot recommend Taconic Electric highly enough!! Their standards of quality, professionalism, and ability to clearly and patiently explain each element of the electrical plan to an inexpert person like myself have been so impressive over the course of an otherwise messy and protracted new construction timeline, for which they bare no responsibility.The kindness and patience demonstrated by Mark and Anthony have made me feel incredibly fortunate and valued as a customer.

    We were in need of an electrician, to be part of our bathroom renovation. Taconic Electric, really came through for us. Marc came over to quote the project. He was on time, friendly and informative. The quote came quickly and was very competitive. The guys who did the work were wonderful. This was an involved project, from start to finish. The communication was on point. The bathroom exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for an electrician, I really think you dont need to look any further. Taconic Electric is the company to use. We will be using them in the future.

    Taconic Electric was great! I called them at 7pm with a no power situation in part of my parent’s house. Denise was able to squeeze us into their already booked schedule the next day. They were knowledgeable and worked efficiently and found the cause of the problem and were able to fix it that day. It’s nice to find a company that has exceptional customer service as well a 5 star work ethic. They are our go to for any electrical work we need.

    Taconic Electric Inc. is professional, courteous, and the best! I called to get a quote on some upgrades. What I got was so much more. My call was answered, and I was told someone could come out immediately. Guess what? That’s precisely what happened. Anthony from Taconic showed up on time with text messages providing status updates until his arrival. Anthony took a quick look and got the details of my project. He asked a great question, “What’s my goal?”. I explained my concerns about the age of my electrical and the need to be compliant with NYSEG’s meter upgrade program. Anthony said that shouldn’t be a problem; his company always works with them. I said, “Great,” not thinking anymore about the comment. The next thing I knew, NYSEG was outside my house checking my meter. A NYSEG rep rang my doorbell and explained my meter upgrade was completed with no issues found. Wow! I found an electrician company that was reputable and no-nonsense. I was beyond impressed. Anthony called back later that same day to see if my concerns with the meter were addressed. I highly recommend Taconic Electric Inc. Thank you, Anthony, and a special shout to NYSEG for their fantastic customer service in coming out so quickly to investigate.

    My experience with a Taconic Electric was great and I am very happy that I chose to work with them. They are professional and maintained great communication which made my remodel go very smoothly. On top of that they gave me a great price and stayed within budget with no surprises at the end.     If there were an option higher than 5 stars I would most certainly give it to Taconic Electric! The most secure you should ever feel is in your home and having strangers in to do a quality job is sometimes as nerve wracking as it gets. NOT with Taconic! The team is top notch and I will recommend them to all looking for experience, expertise, honesty and overall that integrity! Workmanship is that of what our grandfathers taught what I believe they’d do in their own families homes. Upfront about costs and time frames which I greatly appreciate! The whole experience (more than one now) from the first phone call to the finish absolutely FANTASTIC! Nice to know that there are still old fashioned values and work ethics mixed with today’s technology and innovation alive and well locally!!!!     Ive had 2 excellent experiences with Mark and Taconic Electric.First was a simple (for them anyway!) upgrade from a 100 amp to 200 amp electric box. They were on time, very professional and were quick yet thorough. They even took the time to check each breaker and label which breaker did what.That experience led me to call them when an emergency arose. A tree collapsed on a power line but instead of taking the line completely down, it hung on the line and the power line was pulled so tight that the connection to my house was almost ripped from my roof! I called Mark within an hour of the incident and he cleared some time and sent 2 of his guys right over. They spent about 2 hours replacing and repairing my electrical line while working with NYSEG who was also on site to repair the tree damage down the road. What I thought would be a summer weekend without power turned into a quick save and Taconic Electric was the one to make the save. Theyre basically my go-to now for anything that I may need for my electric.

    Mark and his great crew were responsive with a professional quote which he kept on point during the installation. I had my entire fuse panel replaced in preparation for a generator and power garage door along with new light fixtures and repairs. They came, they saw, they divided and conquered all in one day. It was amazing and his crew was professional but also funny and helpful. I had a tough bunch of switches that were not coordinated at all but they kept at it until they figured out the path and how to correct it. I had never used Mark before but heard good things on our local Facebook page so I rolled the dice...and I won big. Looking forward to my next electrical needs cause Mark will surely not disappoint and it will be worth every penny!
