    We had a soft spot in our dining room ceiling from previous water damage. We decided to hire Loft to fix it after sending them pictures of the spot and asking for an estimate. Their price was right around what we expected, they showed up on time and had the spot corrected + textured to match the rest of ceiling in a couple of hours. They also cleaned up very well and kept the work area free of dust. Highly recommend them for handyman projects

    Loft has an exceptional group of talented, hard-workers. My project was a 2+ week remodeling and I got the pleasure to see the same couple folks each day. John, namely, spent an entire week endlessly placing up drywall and then adding coated layers and painting surround trim. What especially impressed me was how John coordinated tasks to be sure to not sit idly while watching paint dry. I dont recall John ever sitting!The same with the rest of the the team. They showed up to WORK and with heavy consideration of elderly fathers physical needs & were mindful of special accommodations he and I may need from the renovations. 5-stars earned!

    Chris was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was kind to my children who were home while he was working and thoughtful in ensuring we had AC before bedtime! The team saw the 90 degree weather coming in and offered to move up my service appointment, which required Chris to work until 7:30P. So thankful. They’ll be my go to here on out!

    When the hinges on my kitchen cabinets broke off and the florescent lighting in the kitchen no longer worked, I searched around trying to find parts to fix them. I was told that replacement parts for these items were no longer in existence, and I should put in a new kitchen. I called Loft Home Services. They came over immediately because I was expecting a house guest and the pocket door to the bathroom wasnt functioning. The Loft crew fixed everything on my list. They were courteous, prompt, and accommodating.

    This is my second time using Loft Home Services, and the service and work was just as exceptional as the first time. They put down laminate wood flooring and trim in my kitchen. They were also willing to use some wood I found in my attic to cut to size and use as craftsman style trim around a built in bookcase. It looks seamless, no one would ever know it wan’t original! The handyman was super duper friendly and reliable. Everything is always laid out in a very structured way from the get go and communication is phenomenal. Gone are the days of chasing down unreliable contractors to help complete my small home projects.

    I have never dealt with a company as responsive, prompt, and effective before. From the get go, David clearly laid out all work & costs through texts, email, & phone calls.We had an issue because I didnt order enough flooring (I measured incorrectly), but we talked it out and figured out a way to get it right.Dustin was always right on time, friendly, & easy to talk to. He dealt with a great deal of projects in a short amount of time. He worked really hard and efficiently. He removed an insanely heavy, dated medicine cabinet, did some framing/drywall installation/painting, installed a new cabinet, mounted a light fixture, & put down LVP flooring.Im really pleased with the excellent communication from David and all the work that Dustin did! My house has a never-ending list of upgrades Id like to do, so Im really happy to have found a reliable, high quality handyman service.

    We had Loft Home Services over to add an access panel in our ceiling in order to access some plumbing. They were easy to schedule with and our technician was professional and did a great job. The job was done quickly and the area was clean when finished. It looks great. I would recommend and will use them again.

    Only Loft could turn our kitchen disaster into a perfect kitchen ceiling in 3 days. Professional, prompt and incredibly courteous -- they cleaned up afterwards as well! This is the second ceiling they have repaired for us (old homes with old plumbing...) and we are impressed each time.

    They did a great job installing dual monitor stacking mounts. I appreciate David’s prompt responsiveness, good communication to understand the scope of the unusual job (even including video of the desk), his willingness to take on this task, and his flexibility to down-scope the part of the install his team would do so the pricing got within my budget. They did great work and I’m very happy with my home work setup with lots of monitor space (see attached pic with my four 32-inch monitors, stacked 2 high)! Also, I’m pleased the handyperson team has a gender range. I had searched for a not-all-male handyperson firm without finding one so went with this highly-rated org, and was happily surprised seeing the team that arrived.

    Great work, fast, friendly. The work I needed ended up being less substantial than quoted, and they lowered the price accordingly.Note to the Frustrated: this is an actual business. Calling them will result in speaking to them. They are not a contractor aggregator with a site built to resemble an actual service provider. You will not get 30 calls from random contractors who barely understand your needs. Working with Loft was a great experience.

    Some months ago, my front door became very difficult to close. I saw that the hinges had rusted and become very stiff, which altered how the door sat in the frame enough to make it drag.I was told by another handyman service that the only way to fix this was to replace the entire door and frame, without even coming to the house to look at it. That seemed patently ridiculous to me, so after some looking, I found Loft. They came out right away to examine the problem. Less than a week later, they fixed the issue perfectly for $266, far less costly and invasive than what the other company wanted to do.I appreciate Loft’s honestly, skill and efficiency. They will be my first call any time I have work that I need done on my house.

    Hired Loft Home Services to do quite an extensive work in my property in Dormont, PA. Work includes paint/repair the back deck, replace the front porch surface boards and railing/gate and repair bathroom ceiling. Had hiccup with first painter but everything was remedied promptly. Very professional and great workmanship. Everything was scheduled and completed on time within 3 weeks. Work area was cleaned up nicely. Contract was written clearly and any amendment/addition was documented in timely manner. Payment can be made online which helps greatly since I am remote. David is very responsive and catered to my needs. Overall, highly recommended!

I had a couple minor electrical issues (doorbell hadnt worked for several years, lights in a basement room tended to stay on even when when switch was moved to off) and a toilet tank that wouldnt stop running. Last week the technician, Tom, fixed all those in short order for a reasonable price. Good people who I will call for future problems.

    If you are looking for a company that puts customer service above everything else, then you need to use Loft Home Services. I had them replace some hose bibs and water valves in my house. I have an older home with a lot of DIY plumbing from the previous owner. Nick, the technician who came to my house, ran into some unforeseen issues and had a solution almost immediately. I will absolutely be using them again. It’s nice to find a company that I 100% trust to work on my home.

    The chandelier hanging from our 16-foot high, vaulted ceiling was falling out of the ceiling fixture. When I called them and sent pictures, the quote was a lot higher than I thought it would be. They said it was due to the high ladder/scaffolding needed to reach it, and a second person was needed for spotting.Aside from that, the 2-man team was great! I was impressed with their knowledge and decorum. They were very personable, answered all my questions, and got a challenging job done with some creativity. I would call them again for extraordinary jobs like this one (that a couple of other contractors had turned down due to the hight of the ceiling.) But for ordinaty stuff like patching walls, painting, and fixture projects (that other contractors are capable of), I might get a quote and give them a chance, but their price would need to be more competative.

You don’t have to carve out 15 minutes to call your contractor about routine stuff or remember to write a check.I’ve done several smaller remodel projects with them. David has communicated and coordinated exceedingly well (which is great with my schedule). He obsessed over quality, and he will volunteer to redo work that doesn’t meet his personal standard. You can tell David really values honesty with his customers and how they feel about their experience.Can’t say enough positive things.     I am 100% impressed with Loft Home Services. The quality of the work is impeccable and David transformed my kitchen and dining room by knocking down a wall and installing a kitchen island. David worked with me to plan the remodel and had valuable suggestions about things I had not thought about. David gave me an estimate and a timetable and was in communication at every step along the way, which is a rare thing when working with contractors. He cleaned up at the end of every day with a in depth clean up at the end of the project. He was great at problem-solving issues that came up along the way and my kitchen is now BEAUTIFUL and so much more functional. I had used David for several small jobs before this big project (replacing an exterior door, repairing outdoor framing, repairing drywall) and he has been professional and responsive throughout. His pricing is fair and I would not hesitate to call David again for any job small or large. David does the majority of the work himself, and when he brings in assistance, he is there supervising so their work meets his standards. He also uses a professional site for handling estimates, invoices and billing which made me very comfortable.

    David is the kind of person for whom if you tell him something is broken, his mind will start wondering over how to fix it in the best way, without you asking him... in five minutes, hell have an idea; in one day, presto, it will be fixed. Hes a problem-solver who genuinely likes tackling new challenges, driven and organized.Our basement had been gutted and left in limbo for over ten years, halfway through a remodeling job. The concrete floor was cracked and uneven, with pools of misshapen hardened concrete that other contractors shied away from attempting to level. David realistically advised us to ditch tile and use Karndean loose lay instead -- then we wouldnt have to perfectly level the floor. We were reluctant to throw away all our tiles, but in the end, he was right. The finished product was a beautiful floor that belied any hint of a nonlevel, ugly concrete floor underneath.Anything we threw at David, he was nimble and quick to fix:1.) Re-aligned a tilted slab of granite counter backsplash2.) Retiled some ugly patches under a toilet3.) Ground down a rusted, corroded metal doorframe and made the door able to close again4.) Installed fixtures in a basement bathroom: sink, vanity, toilet, shower heads5.) Double-checked safety precautions to install GFC electrical outlets in the bathroom, to make sure they were safe for contact with water (we didnt think of this, he did)6.) Wired basement bathroom lights and installed ceiling lights and fixtures in addition to cove lighting7.) Did finishing touches with installing baseboard, hooks, painting basement bathroom wallsDavid takes great pride in his work, is masterful at his craft, and very professional.

    I recently called Loft Home Services to come and check out my attic fan, while here I chatted with the tech and found out they did so much more! I had been wanting to get some large windows in my basement replaced with glass block. While here he went and measured and we got the job booked as well as fixing some tricky doors. They just finished the job and I could not be happier! My windows look great and my doors are all working. There was great communication about the days and times everyone would be here and the techs were so polite and did an excellent job. They cleaned the space daily so no mess ever. Carrie is also so sweet and kept me up to date with everything. I am so happy with my service and look forward to working with them on future projects!

    Tim arrived at the time agreed upon, installed 2 shower grab bars, and cleaned the area afterwards. The one suggestion I would make is to offer Senior Citizen/ AARP discounts. A lot of older people can’t do some jobs now that they used to be able to do. I will probably call Loft Home Services again for projects that I physically cannot do anymore.

    I hired LOFT home services to hang a large (approx 50-60 lbs...5-3/4 feet long and 3-1/2 feet high) mirror in my foyer and 2 chandeliers and a small light fixture in an upstairs hallway. If this is how they do all their work I will call them for any handyman stuff that needs done. The gentleman that showed up was on time and professional. He cleaned up after himself and did a wonderful job. It took several hours to do the work but most of that was the assembly of the chandeliers. I had a wonderful experience and will keep them in mind for the next project. THANK YOU
