    My furnace wasnt working due to some electrical issues. They came out the same morning they got the work order to get my furnace going so that my kids and I had heat. Ben was very quick and got the issue fixed with no fuss. Johnny was also here and was so nice he made sure my kids each got a really awesome flashlight. All in all very pleased with the service and the people I dealt with with this company. Long time Liberty resident and will be recommending this company to other people.

    Metro Electric was very accommodating and prompt with service. We were in major need of a panel replacement and Lisa in the office worked quickly to get us an estimate and service scheduled within just a few days. The work that was done was very clean and professional and the installer made sure the area he was working in was left clean and tidy. Very pleased with this company, will definitely use again for electrical needs.

    Metro Electric responded to an after-hours call for an apartment complex that had a fire, and we needed an electrician onsite to ensure the electrical system was functioning properly so our residents could stay in their homes. Justin arrived on site and worked with the fire chief and myself to create a plan that worked for all parties involved. He called in another technician, Jordan, to help him through the evening into the night. They stayed on site until 12 am working diligently with positive attitudes. He clearly communicated his plan and executed it without fault. I am thankful Justin and his team were onsite and would recommend Metro Electric to anyone.     Had a tree fall onto a power line at a property during one of the storms this summer and needed emergency repairs. My regular electrician was unavailable but recommended I call Metro. They were quick to do the job and charged a fair price. But more importantly they were incredibly helpful dealing with the nightmare of issues that the outage caused with BPU and the UG to get the power turned back on.

    Jared was our electrician. He came on time and was scheduled for plenty of time to get the job done. He made sure we were happy with the work done as well as anything else we would like to discuss to have done.He cleaned up after himself and was very professional.

    I love this company. When you move into a house where you carry the lamp from room to room because there is no light, you call Metro Electric. I have attached before and after pictures of my incredible transformation. I went from no light in the living room and bedroom to a ceiling fan with a light. To my surprise they came with a remote. The owner, Kevin Stone, picked out my light fixtures. What great taste. The yellow office had a fixture that hung from the ceiling, not it also has a ceiling fan with light and a remote. Now I can get down to business in comfort. the bathroom pictures show a bathroom in construction. The bathroom had fixtures, the wiring was not up to code and so dim, once again too dark for me. I was called to tell me when the electrician was coming, the electrician called to tell me on his way, they are courteous and professional. I cannot give them a high enough recommendation. They will be back for all my electrical needs. I recommend them to anybody who asks about electrical issues.

    Justin does it all! He can do anything from replacing a light switch to re-wiring an entire building. He is fast and efficient and I would recommend him to anyone!

    I was referred to Metro Electric several years ago by a neighbor while working on a rental property. Over the years I have used them repeatedly and plan to always use them for several reasons. They are very friendly and usually can get to the job site the next day or very quickly. All of their various technicians are excellent and always call when on the way and do the job very quickly and at a very reasonable price. You will not find better service anywhere strongly recommend Metro Electric!!

    I used Metro Electric twice this year and have been absolutely impressed with both technicians; they were timely, knowledgeable, personable and did a great job installing a ceiling fan and a chandelier. Reasonable rates. I wouldrecommend them for any electrical needs.

    We had a ballast going bad in our primary ceiling fixture for the kitchen. When scheduling Lisa was extremely knowledgeable and made a great suggestion of updating to LED. The cost was minimal and the change is amazing! The installer was very polite and professional and very quick getting the job done. Highly recommend and we will use again if the need arises.

    I cant say enough good things about this company. My home suffered 3 power surges on February the 3rd. Within 45 minutes I had 2 technicians at my house checking every outlet and switch for damage. They exposed every outlet to make sure all wiring was safe.. And the biggest surprise was at the end of their assessment which was a fullday, the supervisor called to be sure I felt safe.Excellent company.Thank you Stephanie

    They were AMAZING! If we could give them more than five stars we would. We can not say enough good things about this company! They were very friendly, did an GREAT job replacing our electric panel and their price could not be beat. They were seriously fantastic. The only thing negative, is that it took them a while to get back to us a couple times but TOTALLY worth the wait! They have our business for life!

    Overall, hands down, the BEST at what they do. My mothers electric meter was sparking and smoking one night, so we had to call the city out to unplug it, which left my family without power. I messaged Kevin and instantly received a call. He was prompt, courteous, professional, and even offered to bring a generator over for my family. Tracy, one of Kevins technicians, came out that same night to evaluate what had to be done. The next day, my family had power again! 3 small children and my mother who isnt in the best of health were SO thankful and amazed at how quickly they solved the problem. My mother has an older home, so there was a glitch with one of the wires as well that night that they hadnt noticed during the day, so immediately the following day, Tracy came back out to fix the problem. If you want a top notch level of service, just call Metro Electric. You know youre in good hands from the minute you speak to one of them! Thank you again, guys-my family is very appreciative for folks like you!!!

    I am so incredibly thankful and impressed with the amazing service I received from Metro Electric! The staff is incredibly friendly and very accommodating. We were experiencing multiple power outages in extreme heat and they were able to fit us into their schedule, come to the house and diagnose the problem and fix the issue on the same visit.     We were unsure of how to solve a problem with lighting in our home. Kevin, the owner spent time with us and provided a few options. He provided advice as to where we could get what we were looking for - even doing the research himsolf and following up. His worker was polite, friendly and extrememly effiient as he added lighting over our stairwell and had to use the attic and a scaffold to get the job done. I highly recommend Metro Electric.

    My elderly mother lives in Kansas City and was having problems with her electricity and power outages so I called Metro Electric on a Sunday evening and left a message. I received a call back by 7:30 am the next day from Lisa who runs the office. Lisa arranged to fit my mother in on the same day and have someone to her before 11am.After scheduling the appointment my mother informed me her lights were back on and it was just a power outage in the area so I ended up cancelling the appointment with Metro. As luck would have it the lights went back out and my mother called BPU to come out. She learned her meter base was burned out and needed to be replaced.Unfortunately my mother did not tell me what happened and instead had someone that is not a liscenced professional electrician do the work on the same day for $800+. When my sister and I learned of this we were very upset and concerned my mother was taken advantage of.I live in Chicago and dont know enough about electrical to know if the work was done appropriately so I call Metro Electric back to ask for their guidance. Lisa in the front office is amazing and had the onwner, Kevin, give me a call within 15 min. I explained my concerns and Kevin immediately went to my Mothers house to check things out and offer his expert opinion on the work and whats needed down the line.I am blown away that Kevin did this out of the kindness of his heart and refused to allow me to pay him for his time or service. He said his business exists to take care of people and do whats right by them and that it was his pleasure to check on my mother for me.Anyone reading this review knows that this type of kindness and generosity is rare. Metro Electric, my prayer is that the seed of kindness you sowed into our family comes back to you 1000 fold.

    Metro Electric did an outstanding job. They came as a reference from the HVAC company I use, and right from the start it was a great experience. The initial phone call with them was very thorough so when the technician arrived they had a good idea of the job to be done.We had some previous outlet wiring done by a self-proclaimed electrician, and Metro checked and found it not be be done to code. It was repaired within 20 minutes and had the needed parts in the van. The main reason for their visit was to fix the ground to a series of outlets because I was unable to locate the problem on my own. The Metro technician identified the problem fairly quickly and made the repair.The repair technician was on time, polite, and well trained. The cost of the work was reasonable and fair. Ive now found a reliable electrical company to use, and would recommend them.

    Called and had someone out the next day to inspect issues we had with a TV causing breaker tripping issues. The electrician inspected the outlet and the breaker and everything checked out okay. The electrician suggested using a power strip between the the TV and the outlet. All is working great.

    I can’t say enough good things about Kevin and the team from Metro Electric. We’ve used Metro to service our electrical needs for several years now and they’ve always done a great job at an excellent price.Recently, we had Kevin look into installing an upstairs floorboard, but after reviewing everything he told us it would be far more cost effective in the long-run to have a separate HVAC company install a mini-splitter. He could have just as easily taken on the project, but he was honest and open with us about how much more efficient the other system would be for us. He even waived the visit fee AND set us up with an HVAC company that did excellent work.You don’t see that type of customer service often, but it’s the status quo with Metro Electric.
