    Plumber Anthony Schwartz was a huge help in getting the plumbing to our septic system updated after we purchased our home in Preston. We had some major problems -- and he went above and beyond with servicing, communication and solutions for an older home that needed some previous upgrades (not done by Underwood) to be corrected. The work allowed us to have a smooth July 4th weekend with a lot of people at our house for festivities. Thanks again to Anthony and Underwood for their professionalism and exceptional skills!!

    I had an emergency pipe break on the weekend. They were very quick to respond and come out to fix it. The technician was very nice and friendly and did no repairs until I agreed to the price. The only thing I did not like was the fee for an weekend end call. I believe it was exorbitant (185.00). And this was above the cost of the repairs. All in all I believe they are a reputable company but I will try to never use them on the weekend.

    Chad Clement arrived on time and was very polite, clean, helpful, and efficient = no wasted moves. The whole pumping procedure was finished within 15 mins. He gave us very good news re: our septic lines, drain field, and tanks, saying they are among the best hes seen. Thats great when our system was installed ~3 decades ago! The large Dusty Underwood pumping truck he was driving was clean and labeled appropriately. He took great care to make sure our trees did not come into contact with the truck, by asking permission to drive out into the fields to go around them. With our clay baked hard from many recent 100 degree days, there was no problem, but we were impressed he would ask first. Chad gave us a break on the charge for digging down to the tanks, because they were at grass level and readily accessible. He put back any grass that was disturbed. Very nice! We will definitely call this company again! An added bonus is that they answer the phone 24/7 AND will come out on the weekend on an emergency for an additional charge! Great!

    The day after Christmas we had toilet issues Underwood bailed us out and ended up working in the rain. I always give them high marks when someone ask which plumbing service to use. Been with them for many years and they always treat me right.

    Tech Phillip Seymour quickly remove old water heater and replace it with a new one. Underwood plumbing did exactly what they said they would. Pricing was less than competitors quoted. This was our 2nd experience with underwood plumbing and will use them again. Thank you for resolving our issue before the cold weather moved in!

    Jonathan Musgrave, an employee at Underwood plumbing was nothing short of awesome, emergency call late at night to assist in a water heater replacement and replacement of faulty valves and plumbing for said water heater. Extremely professional and would recommend them to anyone that needs anything plumbing related. This company has my business. Workmanship is excellent and I dont have to worry about any leaks in the future which being a homeowner is a massive relief in itself.

    Ive had the opportunity have Dusty Underwood Plumbing out to my place multiple times over the last few years. They have replaced a frozen water spigot, installed a new main water line, and put in a new toilet. They have always fixed the issue I called them out for. The receptionist is easy to talk to. And they send a message out before the technician arrives with their picture so you know who will be doing the work.Special thanks to Johnathan Musgrave, Michael Bezdek, and John Jenkins in addition to all the other guys who have been out to my place to keep the water flowing.     I have been using Dusty Underwood Plumbing & Septic, Inc. (DUPS) since February of this year (2024). My business has 5 large septic systems which had been in operation for 3.5 years prior to DUPS beginning their service for me. They took a very pro-active approach to finding issues and performing repairs and maintenance that exceeded my expectations. Their lead technician, Colton, has been looking after all aspects of the service requirements on the 5 systems and his performance has been professional. He communicates well with me and my site manager and he also pays a great deal of attention to details which is much appreciated, and this has resulted in reducing my repair costs significantly. I highly recommend DUPS for anyone who has large septic systems.

    I have absolutely no problems with the system. I’m glad I replaced my old outdated system. Dealing with Dusty Underwood has been mostly a great experience. It’s never awesome to have to replace something that expensive, but they made it less painful. Everyone was helpful and friendly from the ladies in the office to the crew that came and installed the system. I would fully recommend them to anyone that needs any work done. And being in Bonham was no problem.

    Gabe was great. Was able to get out to a rental property of mine and fix a plumbing issue. It was actually the garbage disposal. Although, $475 to replace in what took 30 minutes is robbery IMO, I didn’t have an option and it was worth it as I just didn’t have the time to do it myself. He was also able to let me know that it was negligence which is important because the responsibility is now on the tenants and their deposit. Thanks Gabe!To the dispatcher who failed to assign a technician for my original appointment of 8-10, I appreciate the apologies but it put the tenants in a tough spot. That was super frustrating. That’s why I only gave 4 stars.

    JT and John were on site for a total of 3 days to upgrade the control systems for the two septic systems on our property, and then replace the concrete risers on both tanks with modern PVC easy-access risers.Half way through the job, they were surprised to see that the property construction company had run a French-drain across the top of the septic tank and mistakenly hit it when digging out the riser. Without mentioning anything, they went to the local plumbing store, picked up the parts and repaired the damaged 6 tube. Many lessor companies would have just covered the damage over with soil and I would never have known until the rains washed away half my landscaping.     Our kitchen sink stopped draining late Sunday night. I called Monday morning at 10:25am and the very nice lady told me she checked and could have someone come the same day between 12-2pm.     I now have a plumber in my contact list. I had an underground water leak. Gage came out on time assessed the problem and gave me an estimate for the repair and set a return visit with the necessary equipment. As scheduled Gage and Micah came out made the repair much faster than expected, came to the door to settle up and told me they hadnt needed the excavator so the price ended up less than half the estimate. This the honesty I want from those I do business with, anyway thats why I have a plumber in my contact list.

    When I first figured out there was a leak somewhere in a line buried outside my house I just purchased, I called a few plumbers. Most never answered the phone; the one that did never showed up or answered again. Then I called Dusty Underwood plumbing and was greeted with a friendly, helpful staff who was able to send someone out to give me a quote. They were honest and said there was a good chance there was more than one leak and that I had the option to have a whole new line ran from my meter to my house. I opted for that decision - and it was the right choice. The previous line was poorly done with multiple leaks. Cody and his co-worker showed up got a new pex line ran with good Uponor compression fittings and had me back online the same day. No more shutting off the water at the meter now either - the flat rate included hand shutoff valves at street level and at the house.To add the to dedication of service, when they had finished, I noticed a very small drip coming from a fitting. Cody immediately jumped back in the hole and got it replaced and made sure it was sealed. Brittany at the front desk also saved me by getting my service call bumped up by 4 days since I was having to keep the water shut off at the meter.Couldnt be happier with the work and will recommend them to others!

    I originally called them because my kitchen sink would fill with water every time I ran my washing machine. This had been going on for six years, since I purchased this house. I tried everything, but nothing worked. Called the company to come out. Mike ran the snake, and I told him I had installed the new grey water drainage upgrade (2 inch to 3 inch) a year prior to this call. He then ran the snake from my washing machine drain to the grey water drain from my house. Thought all was good. Ran the final cycle on my washing machine. All water backed up worse in my kitchen sink!!!! It was more than Id EVER seen, and water was on my laundry room floor!!! I immediately called them back and told them what was happening. Mike was back in 20 minutes. He ran the snake again from the washing machine dain to the main drain to the grey water. All the water drained. After that, I dumped a gallon of Dran-O in my washing machine drain, because Mike said it was due to heavy grease clogs. I ran a full load of laundry the next day. No backflow to my kitchen sink at all!!! I am only giving 4 stars, which is still a good rating, because I got a snake and a camera ran through my pipes which proved my pipes are ok, but also proved Dran-O was all that was really needed when applied at the correct points. Great tech though!

    Updating this review based on new experience with Underwood Septic & Plumbing:It seems Underwood has a new operations manager who reached out to me recently to address my concerns. I explained that to this day, nobody has attempted to address the concerns I posted about in my previous review, even though they said they did. He apologized and said it would be taken care of.This contact from their new operations manager occurred because I had a warranty claim for the septic system they installed a year and a half ago. After explaining everything, Underwood Septic sent out several plumbers to my house to repair a damaged main line under warranty and also sent out a septic expert to repair a damaged air line under warranty. The guys spent better part of a day digging and repairing my issues, and today everything is working well.Cody from plumbing and Noah from septic are awesome and super nice guys. I wasnt able to be home when the work was being done, however my wife communicated with them and we even video chatted so I can see the trouble they found and resolved. I think the Underwood team did an excellent job of addressing my warranty claims and did so VERY quickly.Im updating this review to 4 stars as my original concerns stated below are still pending. Once addressed Ill update to 5 stars. Either way, I think my negative experience is the exception and not the norm. Ive used them for several other plumbing and septic repairs and theyve been great.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We have used Underwood Septic for our septic maintenance since we purchased our home 2 years ago. In May 2021, Underwood installed a new aerobic septic system as our previous one was not installed properly and had many issues. The Underwood sales team constantly bragged about how their installation team was the best in the business and how I wouldnt want anyone else to install. Based on the reviews I have read, I would tend to agree with that. They have always performed good service for us, and the team was always knowledgeable and nice. But the installation was a nightmare.So we moved forward with the installation of a brand new system which included a new main drain line and sprinkler lines as well. While the installation may have been performed well I guess, the evidence of the installation still lingers. These guys COMPLETELY destroyed my yard. There are huge ruts everywhere from their vehicles and deep ruts and holes around the work site. They had to remove part of a retaining well to bury the new main line, and did a poor job putting it back. My $8000 retaining wall now looks terrible, so I now have to pay the landscape company to fix it. I understand they had to move a few blocks, but it looks so horrible now. They had to cut the drain line for my pool in order to run the new main line. I honestly dont think they had to cut it, but they did regardless. It was a botched repair and now my pool drain spews water out of the patch whenever I backwash. Now I have another repair to a 3rd party. The Underwood team trenched the lines for the sprinkler system, but never filled the trench back in. I had to go and bury all the sprinkler lines myself and clean up that mess. They also did a very poor job filling in the dirt around the new tank, and I had to go put a LOT of dirt around the tank itself as there was at least a 12 deep trench all around the tank.When they dug the tank, they put the dirt in a location behind the tank thats very difficult to get to. I can barely get my tractor in there to get to the dirt pile without falling into a ravine or driving over the tank. The installation quote included an option to pay an additional $600 to spread the remaining dirt into low spots in my yard, etc. I figured that was unnecessary to pay that as I expected them to at least fill in the holes they caused, etc. Had I expected this kind of damage, I would have paid the extra $600 to fix the mess they made.

Mika was our technician and he was so kind, very hard working, & patient. He’s did an awesome job & we were so thankful he was able to take care of our issue. The next morning the company contacted me just to follow up & make sure I didn’t have any additional concerns! Thank you again for all the care and going above and beyond to take care of our needs!!! We will be using y’all in the future for sure!!🙂🙂
