    Working with Capital Renovations was a pleasant experience. Carlos friendly attitude is very professional, thorough and engaging in planning, recommendations and knowledge with the whole process. It can be daunting task to think how you want your project to look like and Carlos listens and comes in with his own experience to help make you make your decisions better. After we had our basement renovated we were very happy with the results and had two more projects, our powder room and laundry room. We understood going into these projects had a higher cost than our initial budget due to inflation but the end results were excellent. We recommend Carlos and Capital Renovations to anyone and would likely have another project done with them in the future.

    Carlos, Manny and their team entered our house project partway through our rebuild following a total loss house fire. Carlos and his company were brought in to complete the “finishes,” the parts of the house we all see, cabinets, tile, flooring, etc. Their team did an excellent job!Carlos is an excellent communicator, which was particularly helpful when identifying and resolving issues. He was especially good about communicating with appropriate and timely messages and photos (like which tile goes where). We needed to all be on the same page about what is going where and when things needed to get done. He was also patient with explaining the lingo associated with house terms.Carlos is quite organized. This was so important with the many details involved in a complete rebuild of a 2,300 square foot ranch house, both levels.Carlos has a great eye for color. After alerting us to missing trim in a shower, Carlos picked out a trim that was excellent in style and color.Carlos is a perfectionist, which you need if you are to have a great house! On the rare occasions that something did not turn out “just right,” he would redo it on his own initiative.Carlos is very knowledgeable and experienced. A tricky thing about rebuilding a 50 year old house after a fire is that some things needed our (not his) attention because of age rather than fire restoration. Carlos helped us with those issues too, such as how we could use corroseal to convert rust to a paintable non-rusting barrier layer for our basement window frames.It was a joy to work with Carlos and his crew. They were kind and professional. They would always call us Mr/Mrs, although this was not our expectation. They were grateful for the drinks and snacks we left for them. They cleaned up as they worked each day – we never stopped in to check on progress and found a mess. We saw their professionalism in their attitude. They wanted to do excellent work, and they did.

    Carlos and his team did a remarkable job on our new kitchen and dining room. When we first decided to get our kitchen and dining room remodeled we just thought it’s gonna be a rough couple months. But to our surprise, it couldn’t went any smoother. The workers were on time every day, cleaned up any mess that they might’ve created throughout the day, and before they left for the day. We now have a beautiful kitchen that my wife and I are very proud of. Thanks again for the wonderful work and talented people you have working for you.

    Great communication right from the start - very prompt responses. Carlos and his crew were very personable and professional throughout, and really nice guys. The basement renovation work they did was fabulous - put up a wall, built two closets, cut a new door - and the price was right.
