    The online service request was easy to use and received a prompt call back for scheduling. It was a non-emergency request but took 2 weeks. I received a text when service technician was on his way. Klo was very helpful in suggesting updates for different lighting issues. He was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.     Called because they were local, small and had very high ratings. Had to wait well over a week to be scheduled and when they came out they completely missed fixing the outdoor flood light that Id asked be made serviceable. Will be calling another company for my next repair. These guys maybe good but they are too busy to get to clients in a timely fashion, or double check their work orders.

    Contacted Blue Moon via their web form after having a bad experience with another company. They touched base with me super fast and we had a scheduled on site appointment for less than 7 days later (which was great). All along the way leading up to the appointment they were very communicative; telling me who was scheduled, when theyd be there, etc - absolutely cannot complain. I had set up 2 new panels ( one in my garage, the other in a shed ~100 away). While Im pretty handy, I did not feel comfortable finalizing the connections betwixt the two new panels and my main panel. The Blue Moon team of two arrived at 845a and left by 1045a - all panels connected as requested. I did think the charge for two hours was a little higher than I expected, but in the face of doing something wrong and burning down my house, it was fair and the work was performed quickly and professionally. Not to mention, on a previous job, the price they estimated was substantially better than the other companies I spoke with - so I can only imagine what I would have paid elsewhere. Very good experience with this company, thank you.

    My husband had set up the appointment, and I thought Blue Moon was coming out to give a quote. To my surprise they were actually here to do the work which was great! Matt was able to check in with the Blue Moon office and give me a reasonable quote on the spot. They fixed two ceiling fans, installed a new flood light, changed a couple of outdoor lights, and installed a new outdoor outlet.I truly appreciated how Matt and his partner checked with me every time they moved on to the next item. We talked through the best options and they made sure what they were planning to do was what we wanted.They pulled the outside outlet from an inside outlet and the flood light through the attic. Once the work was completed I never would have known they were here in the house as everything was spotless when they finished.They were incredibly professional and friendly, and the final work came in slightly lower than the original quote. This is the first time weve needed electrical work at our house, and we will absolutely use Blue Moon again.

    I waited several months to write this review just to make sure everything continued to work. I can genuinely now say this company along with the work they performed was terrific. I first met with Ed who stopped by early to take a look at all the work I wanted to have done. My family had purchased our first home here in Athens, GA, and with so many moving parts Ed and his team couldnt have been more accommodating. Overall, the company provided two days of work, the price that Ed quoted was exactly what I was charged, and everything works and looks great. The first day our family couldnt be at the house and Eds team was still able to help themselves inside, replace and install wiring and outlets throughout the home, clean up, and lock up as if no one had been inside. The second day Darren and Matt from the company removed a fan fixture, installed a chandelier, installed some recess lighting, fixed a light fixture on a fan, and mounted a tv on a brick wall. In doing so they were professional, courteous, and PATIENT! I was the only one home so making the decision of how high the chandelier should be hanging created a slight challenge. Darren and Matt didnt mind at all as they hung the chandelier at three different heights, let me take pictures, and then let my wife, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law all chime in with their opinion. We were so pleased with all the work, the folks at the company, and we look forward to having Blue Moon Electric perform more work at our home as well as our future homes in Athens, GA!!! P.S. - Matt MIGHT be an Alabama fan which truly amazed me that he and Darren got along so well.

    We had a lightening strike nearby which damaged the cable box, modem, TV, etc., despite the surge protectors. We also ended up with several lights out, outlets that no longer worked, and problems with two light fixtures. Jason quickly diagnosed and fixed the problems and purchased and installed a new outside floodlight fixture to replace the damaged one. We are very happy with the service provided, and the price charged was reasonable. We will definitely call Blue Moon again if we have any future electrical problems.

Most recently, Kyle (and Kyle) installed a ceiling fan for me -- and then hung around a few extra minutes to check a nearby outlet that I asked about, and replace a switch that they just happened to have on hand, completely out of courtesy, and easily saving me $100+ on making a second appointment and/or buying a new garbage disposal I didnt need. Definitely consider them first.

    We had 2 switches replaced because they were double switches (1for fan and 1for light) but they were not hooked up appropriately...now they have 3 switches which is fine but in one room the top switch does the fan and in the other the top switch does the light...not super thrilled about that but not end of the world. The other work was fine other than placement of our line for mini split unit was put right by our septic tank pipe so hopefully that won’t cause an issue when the guys for HVAC come out...
