    My new roof installer interview process and selection took 2 months. I got 5 quotes for my new roof. Whale Roofings was the last company I interviewed and got a quote from and I am glad I chose them at the end. Lucas was the sales rep and he spent 1 hour with me in the house educating me on the process and also on the different types of roofs. Together we came to a conclusion that concrete flat tile roof was the best solution for my property. Lucas immediately ordered samples for me (different colors). Whale Roofing also came the BEST price wise! I selected Whale Roofing. All work was done according to the plan. The crew was exceptional. They cleaned everything daily and I never had any issues with them in any stage of the process. Jacob was the supervisor on the job and he communicated with me throughout the whole process. Permit was closed without any issues and in one day. Excellent work! Highly recommend this company.

    We interviewed and bid 7 roofing contractors. Whale Roofing was chosen for 3 reasons, the right price, clean public records for open permits and lawsuits NONE (passed), and we felt good about the people. Turns out we made the RIGHT CHOICE. Two months later and after a hurricane, we are thrilled. They showed up on time, communicated well, and did what they said. Plus, they didnt take advantage of us as some other companies might. All and all, I can honestly recommend them to you for your roofing project. This was an 8300 s.f. metal roof and turned out great, we have had over 20 compliments from the neighbors here in St Andrews CC. They even picked up the old roof nails. Awesome !!!!! Bill Brothers

When Derek came to our home and explained the differences between his company and his competitors we knew his company offered a better value than other companies we received bids from. They protected our property before they began of any fallen debris and cleaned up beautifully. Everything was done in a timely manner and they communicated every phase of the installation. The workmanship was impeccable.

    Professional, on time, and on budget.I don’t have very high expectations when working with contractors in Florida but Whale Roofing restored my faith. The owner came and sat down with me personally during the consultation. He also answered the phone every time I had a question. He sent regular progress reports and documented everything he did on the job. He closed out the permit when he was done And I have referred well Roofing many times since.

    Derek and his Team are awesome! They kept us informed during the entire re-roofing project on our home. They are also prompt in fixing any warranty work. We searched for a local roofing company prior to the COVID pandemic and then after the pandemic and Whale Roofing was #1 after countless estimates and interviews. Our national insurance company was also pleased with their estimate and the quality of work. Derek also helped us find an excellent company for the Wind Storm Mitigation Survey which lowered our insurance cost. We highly recommend Whale Roofing and Construction for your roofing needs.     Great company with focus on quality workmanship, customer service, and good communication. You normally get one or two of those attributes but rarely all three. Documents and updates are handled digitally to facilitate our modern and fast-paced life. A website with photos was provided to assist with coordination which was very helpful since I was way during installation. From beginning to end, it took about 2.5 weeks and that included delays associated with weather and HOA access limitations (holiday/weekend). I have houses in my neighborhood that have been in partial roof replacement status for months.

    We hired Whale Roofing after meeting with about 13 companies. Their prices were competitive and actually less than many other companies for a new metal roof. Derek was super nice, knowledgeable, and great to work with. He always answered our questions. From the time the city of Plantation approved our permit until the job was completed was about 2.5 weeks. I would highly recommend.

    Whale Roofing just completed a Worthouse metal roof on our home and we are extremely pleased with the results. The process from start to finish took approximately the 3 months from signing contracts to final inspections. Time could have been trimmed down without the onerous HOA and hurricanes.Jacob was a pleasure to deal with and readily available to answer questions to issues.     I got 3 quotes (1 from one of the biggest roofing companies in FL) to have a metal roof installed. I chose whale roofing for a few reasons, they were going to use better materials and thicker gauge roof, attention to detail, they were covering the pool and surrounding area during demo without me even bringing it up. Whale Roofing have been an absolute pleasure to work with on two separate projects, to include the most recent project having my complete roof replaced at my home.     We used Whale Roofing yesterday for a roof leak we found. After a home inspector identified the issue, Jacob came over to look into the repair. He agreed the issue was a bad seal at a pipe and sent his coworker over later the same afternoon for the repair. We paid $2500 for “two repair areas (said seal repair and an area under a cracked tile), one replaced tile and approximately 30 cracked roof tiles repaired”. The work was completed in a couple hours and the roof is sealed and ready for more Florida weather.We’re appreciative the work was done the same day as were in the summer rain season.

    After moving into the community , I began asking neighbors who to use for what with regard to home repairs etc. Generally 2-3 companies were mentioned , some more than once.But when I asked approx 7 different people about roofers, only one name came up... Whale Roofing. Got an estimate from Whale and one other just to compare. Derek from Whale cautioned me about false promises from other roofers with regard to when and how quickly the job will be done.(more on this later). I went with Whale and was not disappointed, The project was completed on time, his guys cleaned up at the end of each day, they were happy to answer any questions, and the job came out fantastic. I cannot recommend them high enough.My roof has been completed for approx 3 weeks and the roofing job near me from another company........ not even close to completion. Its been 30% complete for 5-6 weeks and it was started before my roof.Do yourselves a favor and get a quote from Whale roofing !!!!!!

    Derek is the best! His roofing company is high above all the others in South Florida, pun intended. My grandparents had a small leak in their home and Derek was called to take a look. He did the inspection and then he had someone else inspect and determined the location of the leak. They also determined the roof needed to be replaced because it was over 20 years old. The installation caused some minor damage to the ceiling and fixtures in the house, and this was taken care of free of charge. Since the roof was installed, we’ve had our share of bad weather but the roof has been 100% airtight. I would recommend Whale Roofing without hesitation.

    We had wind related damage to our tile roof and were referred to Derek Nier of Whale Roofing. Our insurance company originally proposed an unacceptably low settlement so Derek guided us to a public adjuster who negotiated a settlement for a total roof replacement. Derek then worked with us to select new roof tiles, provided information required to obtain HOA approval, and obtained all necessary construction permits. Once the approvals had been obtained, Derek coordinated the roofing crews through completion of the project. Needless to say, we were pleased with his work and highly recommend Whale Roofing to anyone seeking a qualified roofing contractor.

    I needed a new roof at my home in Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton-Derek Nier of Whale Roofing & Construction brought over samples, colors and got an estimate. He handled all the permitting before and after installation, helped with my HOA and was incredibly helpful. We needed additional work - new pavers ( Frank Hardscapes was great) and acted and the GC for that, new gutters, repairs and painting of several rotted panels. All this was done where we were not home- he sent pictures and showed us the progress. Good workmanship, stuck to the budget - and he is an all around nice guy! Would recommend him highly for these kinds of projects.Alan G

    I would never had imagined having to replace my roof without any issues. I have heard horror stories from friends who had to have a new roof installed. Derek and Whale roofing did an amazing - easy - clean - effortless roof replacement. From the time I got approval from my POA on Tuesday - Derek and his team showed up the next Monday and my roof was stripped in one day (had 20 workers here) sealed and ready to go. Took Whale Roofing 9 working days from start to finish. No mess everything was done as explained and price was as quoted. I had a metal roof installed and the process watching Whale roofing cut the sheets of metal in the front of my house was like having a manufacturer in my front yard. If u need a roof replaced - with no hassle and totally professional I recommend no one else other than Whale Roofing.. My experience was a ten!!

It was difficult to find a trusting company that was Pace/Fortifi certified that didn’t want to price gouge you. Pricing was very reasonable for replacing both a shingle and flat roof. Debbie came out to our house, inspected the roof and gave us options for roof replacement. Debbie and her crew were always on time and always kept us apprised of every step of the process.     I had a roof leak after a strong, but unnamed storm. I talked to a few people about making an insurance claim. Most of them gave me a lot of reasons why it would be a waste of time; its a random storm, your roof is too old and so on. Then I talked Derek at Whale Roofing. Not only was he confident in my claim, he took the claim and basically did all of the leg-work. Once we knew we were getting a new roof, Derek gave us a lot of options. Then came construction. My entire neighborhood marveled at how fast Whale took-down the old roof and installed the new one. Timing the subs and communicating what to expect was on point. This is my personal profile and all I got out of this is a quality roof, fast. I really cant give him enough props for a job well done.
