    I am so impressed with this company. They are so professional. The workmanship is oustanding. The workers are respectful, hardworking and very talented. The job foreman would advise me if things that they found that were unforeseen and show me pictures of damage that was there that needed to be fixed. I felt very comfortable with this company. They were there when they said they would be and that meant alot, especially when so many other contractors just didnt show up. I love my roof and they will soon be doing my siding, fascia, soffitt and gutters. I cant wait to see it all when its finished!!

    This summer, I discovered what I thought was a leak in my roof. I contacted a different roofer who said I had loose shingles & then strung me out until November saying he would repair it & not showing up. I finally called Sundown who got right back to me & came out within 2 weeks to look at my roof. The technician climbed onto my roof & into the attic, took pictures & said he saw absolutely no evidence of a leak. He thought instead it was condensation from a water pipe vented into the attic. He also did not charge me. I almost wished I needed repair so I could hire them. Best I can do is write this review & say if you need a reliable, honest roofer I wouldnt hesitate to call Sundown Exteriors.

    I hired sundown to replace my roof recently and was happy with my experience with them throughout the whole process. The work was very well done and their crew did a great job cleaning up after as well. Tony the project manager was great to work with as was Evan who helped set the job up and helped me with the financing afterwords. 5/5 would recommend.

    I contacted salesman Ryan Redpath to come take a look at my house after the hail storm came through. He is professional and was very quick to come out and meet with my insurance adjuster. The entire process has been smooth. Sundown did a complete re sheathing on my roof. The new roof looks amazing from the upgraded shingles, to the new ridge vent (upgraded from old beat up box vents), a new furnace exhaust pipe, and new boots around the bathroom vent & power mast. Their crew was very pleasant to deal with and they worked 12 hours in the heat yesterday to make sure the job got done. Project managers Justin & Tony were great and easy to deal with as well. Sundown will be back in a couple weeks to hang new gutters and some fascia. I highly recommend them not just for roofing but for all home exterior needs.

    Sundown did great work on our roofing project. Project managers Tony and Justin, crew leader Abraham and their crew were extremely hard working. Tore old shingles and sheeting off and had everything replaced in 2 1/2 days. Cleanup at the end of each day and at project’s end was very thorough. Salesman Ryan didn’t just sell and run - he touched bases with us each day to see if we had any questions or concerns. Very satisfied with Sundown Exteriors!

    I highly recomend Sundown Exteriors for any of your home improvement projects. Zack Vest explained everything to us before we signed the contract. No surprises or hidden cost. They replaced the old aluminum siding, soffit, and gutters. The workers were here by 7:30 AM each day and stayed till 8 PM. They cleaned up their mess each day before they left. The entire job took only 4 days and looks great. A very professional company.

    I dont typically give 5 star reviews, but Sundown deserves MORE than 5 stars. They replaced the roof on our home and garage. We were immediately impressed from the initial contact. Throughout the entire quote and install process they were extremely professional. Their communications were top notch. On the day of install, the entire crew showed up on time and immediately got to work. We were amazed at how fast the work progressed. After the installation, they were meticulous about the cleanup of our property. They even re-filled a couple of dents they made in the yard with their equipment. To say Im impressed with this company is a massive understatement. I highly recommend them for your roofing needs.

    This is by far the best home improvement company I have ever worked with. We have had two roofs, siding and gutters and downspouts. There crews are top notch and very professional. Roofing crew worked hard and fast even in 90+ degree heat, did an excellent cleanup after they were done The siding crew did the same type of work and stayed late to finish the job. The gutter crew were excellent worked fast. The management people were outstanding and keep us informed on the work schedule and keep everything on schedule.     I discovered 6 months into my little home the roof was leaking. Some seen, some not. I asked for estimates. No one else (3) checked my attic but Sundown did. Bad news, more leaks discovered.They sat me down and discussed what they saw, storm damage in places.NOW HERE IS WHERE THEY WERE INVALUABLE. Id been told storm damage before and when the insurance adjuster came out, they declined it because there was no one to go up on that 2 story roof then to make the case. I later was dinged for that.SUNDOWN MET WITH THE ADJUSTER AND THEY BOTH INSPECTED.A large percentage of my roof was covered and we were able to work with the rest so that this 2 layered roof was replaced!What I would have had to do in patch no guarantee estimates covered my part.Now after this weekend of heavy rain I realize I dont have that dark cloud over my for my home. Its SUNSHINE despite the rain.Having personnel that meets with the adjuster is invaluable to anyone who doesnt do roofing for a living.

The crew arrived promptly and got right to work on the roof replacement day. The final walk around and questions was very professional.     Service: Siding installation, replaced GuttersOur experience with Sundown Exteriors met all expectations and, in a couple cases exceeded them. The siding installed was a vertical Board and Batten and required a high degree of expertise. Nelson and the installers provided high quality and timely installation. When I asked them to repair a couple spots in the soffit, not included in the estimate they did so within a day. The project manager, Justin was very responsive in terms of customer service and communication. Justin’s responsiveness in overseeing the project and making sure things were cleaned up is much appreciated. Our house was 50 years old and had some rough spots. We started the effort with Ben who came out to discuss what we wanted and provide an estimate. He was very approachable and understood the work that would be required. Also, Ben was available throughout the entire effort if we needed him. We are very satisfied with the work and highly recommend Sundown Exteriors.

    Got out roof replaced by Sundown after sustaining some wind damage this past winter. I worked with Ben from Sundown who was very professional and personable. He was able to answer all my questions and explain the process from start to finish.We have a decent sized house and the Sundown crew was able to complete the tear off and replace it all within one day. The crew made sure to clean up after themselves and I couldnt see any trace of them being there afterwards (trash or debris in the yard, etc). Roof looks great!

    I hired Sundown Exteriors to replace my roof first. Great job, friendly and helpful employees and cleaned up everything when finished. Because I was so pleased, I also had them replace most of the windows in my manufactured home. I am very impressed with the installation because manufactured homes are more difficult to do. And so happy with the new windows - American made in Chicago, lifetime warranty. Features I didn’t know existed. The owners, Zack and Bree were great to work with and so was Ed.     Sundown was a great service provider! I had a leak in a skylight that eventually lead to needing a whole new roof (there was lots of other damage).     There are not enough adjectives to describe the greatness of the crew that installed the roof. Worked 12 hour days with only a short lunch break.     From the initial estimate to my roof installation, Sundown did a spectacular job across the board. Kyle was great to work with: friendly, punctual and knowledgeable. The roofs were not all completed and they quit doing roofs so we looked for a new company. We came upon this wonderful roof company.     I received quotes from a few roofing companies in town and was by far the most impressed with Ben at Sundown! He did a thorough inspection and told me the garage roof didn’t need to be replaced (versus other companies that said it did). I chose to go with Sundown and can not say enough great things! They completed the whole house and porch roof in one day and cleaned the entire site when they were done (including cleaning up the straggler leaves hanging around my house!)     I filled out the contact form on Sundowns website about some wind damage to the siding/fascia on our house, not knowing what the extent of the repair would be (you never know with these things). They were very prompt about getting back to me and coming out to do the estimate, even moving the date up knowing we had some snow incoming on the day it was scheduled for.Zach was really straight up and friendly and gave me what I considered to be a great deal on the repair. A week later, and the job is done, and done well. The guys who did the job (Im sorry that I am terrible at remembering names) were also super friendly and got it done quickly.     We couldnt be happier. They showed up on time, were very courteous and their craftsmanship was fantastic. They completed the work quickly, kept the yard picked up and were constantly sweeping for nails. They even did a couple minor repairs to our windows while they were on the roof (I asked them to). They also painted the vent pipe and chimney pipe black (I didnt think to ask them to) so they would blend in better. Their attention to detail was amazing. As promised, this spring we called Sundown to replace our windows and doors. It was a big project. I believe we had 31 windows (including a double wide with a half-moon window that required a crane to get it to the second floor) and 5 doors. Ed measured and gave us the quote, then supervised the job as it took just over 2 weeks to complete because we wanted new construction windows instead of regular replacements. The only issues we had were due to the 3rd party suppliers but Ed was all over those. He made it painless and even enjoyable. The installers were great and kept their areas clean and answered all of my questions, even if they seemed basic. We highly recommend Sundown Exteriors!

    I cannot say enough amazing things about this company! We called a couple weeks ago after we noticed a water stain on the ceiling in one of our rooms. They got us in ASAP to repair. Matt came to check it out. He was able to quickly assess the situation and provided so much information for us. They also found that we had a couple of more issues in our attic area with our exhaust vents that could have been serious problems that we had no idea about! He laid out the options and fixed those as well. Not even a week later, we noticed another water stain on our ceiling in a different area and got in touch with Matt that night.     Sundown ended up declining my job as I have a little bit of a non-standard roof which is a bummer. Why am I rating them 4 stars? Because of how they are run and their process. I also have also done in home sales for the trades and now mentor others on in home selling and really appreciate how Sundown operates.I need a new roof, so I called 3 contractors out, all highly rated in the area. I wont name the others, but Ill tell you what Josh & Sundown did so you know what you should be expecting.I told Josh from step 1 that I am very familiar with the sales processes as I come from a similar background. To most that would seem odd, but usually when I do this step, I get to see how the company & their sales people really are, as they generally take shortcuts and under explain. Great salespeople understand that it is a showtime queue, your sales process is not wasted on sales people - we LOVE a great sales presentation. I buy from the best presenter. Hint: they usually cost a bit more, take a bit longer, have a better end product and are there when you call.He evaluated my roof, took pictures and went through his sales presentation about benefits working with Sundown, their process, their shingles, what to expect from insurance and financing options. He showed up on time and was presentable and respectful of my time and property. GREAT. If you think thats standard practice, wow, great job - let me assure you, it is not.I will tell you of the 3 companies (I am still calling more because of how un-impressed the rest left me), he is the only that did all of those things. One contractor I asked to pass over me as he texted me 1 1/2 hours after our appointment time to tell me he was late. The other fumbled around with lost contact information and then came out and explained to me nothing as of to what they do, what they use and neither of those other two had financing options!I dont know about you, but the money I have in savings, Im not trying to clear out for a roof! Do you end up paying % more for financing?! Yes! Does it ease financial burden right now? Also yes.I could continue on about what the others should have done - but this process with roofers for me has been an eye opener to their specific trade. What I can tell you is its a damn shame Sundown wouldnt do my project because Josh earned my trust. I hope you call Sundown to give you an estimate if you are looking for roofing work, because all experiences are -not- the same and if something feels off when someones rep is in your house, it probably is.Give these guys a shout. Sundown Exteriors removed the shingles (two layers), the metal drip edge and flashing, along with the plywood sheathing.     I would recommend this company as they did what they said they were going to do. Apparently we had a vent that wasnt correct and they fixed it and didnt charge extra. Their bid was what was stated no additional charges. Excellent company.

    Sundown put new roofs and gutters on my house, garage, and shed last fall. New roof in the case of the house means they striped a few layers of shingles, including a layer of cedar shakes, put down a new deck, new waterproofing membrane, and new high-quality shingles. The garage was the same, while the shed was new. In theory, any roofer could do that minimum. The real differentiatior is the attention to detail and concern for craftsmanship exhibited while doing the work. Fr some background: my house is well over 100 years old, and I expect it to outlast me. I also have some light construction background, so I like to imagine I can tell when things are being done properly. From the time when Zach showed up to talk about options & generate the estimate to the time the crew left, it was pretty apparent that everyone from leadership on down knew what they were doing. As with any project, there were a couple of minor things which were unplanned; there were some broken rafters over the porch, the gutter needed shifted around, etc. The mark of a good contractor is how they handle those things, and Sundown was fantastic to deal with. The project came out looking great, the cost was very fair - they werent the cheapest bid, but I think they were by a wide margin the best *value* bid.I will 100% be calling them back for other services. If you need a roof, this is your place.
