    This family business is amazing. They did a fantastic job. I could not be happier with their work. Very precise, clean, and honest work. They turned our dull builder painted walls into a beautiful crisp clean finish while fixing little things that were not their responsibility along the way. We have a house with young adult children and 3 dogs and we were still able to do our daily routine while they were working. Great guys, I highly recommend them!

    We couldn’t have had a more wonderful experience from the beginning to the end. It is a phenomenal family business that treats you like family. They were so precise and detailed, I was amazed. Nico treated our kitchen like it was his own and welcomed my 1.5 year old to be his assistant all day. She just adored him and he couldnt have been sweeter. His parents responded promptly to any questions or texts and made sure we were always happy with the plan and work. It looked like a brand new kitchen when it was done. Just gorgeous! I couldnt recommend them more!

    Used Got a Painter to spray paint our kitchen cabinets. They did a phenomenal job. They are a family owned business and are terrific at working with you...getting back to you when you have a question, scheduling, etc. The paint method and products they use to spray paint the kitchen cabinets are first class. Their workmanship is meticulous. I have no hesitation recommending them to you. You will not be disappointed.

    I finally pulled the trigger on getting my kitchen cabinets painted white. After doing a lot of research I came across Got a Painter seeing all the good reviews. I completed a online form and the owner Thomas called me 10 minutes later at 6:30am. He was very informative and helpful in my decision. After deciding I booked a month out and Niko was on site to remove the doors and prep the kitchen. Niko was awesome….punctual, professional and trustworthy. I couldn’t be happier with my decision, don’t go the cheap route especially if you doing your kitchen.Highly recommend!!

    Thomas and his family are TOP of the li e to deal with. They take pride in their work and truly CARE about their customers.Unfortunately we only used them for our door painting after our first painter failed miserably. Thomas came in and finished everything off flawlessly.Hard to find real people who own a business and actually give a s#!t about what they are doing.I am spreading the word about them and wish them co to is success.Also the communication via text and phone is excellent, you are never wondering or guessing about your project!!!Thank you again!!

    An absolute pleasure to do business with. They answered all of my questions and completed everything on time and flawlessly. My kitchen cabinets look better than what they sell in the stores and they are 20 years old! They custom built a piece for over the sink and replaced all of the trim around the bottom of the cabinets. I am beyond excited with my new cabinet. If you want your job done right the first time - look no further!

    If you are looking to transform your kitchen, look no further. Replacing kitchen cabinets can cost between 15-30K depending on the size. If you have a kitchen straight out of the 80s for example honey oak with a valance over the sink , bronze hardware etc , you can refinish your existing cabinets for a fraction of the price of replacing them.Got a Painter is a local Bloomingdale business and family owned , they were open and honest upfront , zero pressure and very informative with the process and explanation of what you are paying for. They communicated a start day and time and showed up exactly at that time. Nico was the technician that worked in my house and he was very meticulous, the floors were covered immediately upon entering the home. The kitchen was closed off and tarps hung to contain the dust to one area of the house. Nico was very careful not to damage anything and treated our home with professionalism, the inside work took exactly 4 days to prep the cabinets and paint them white, the doors were removed and brought back to the shop where they underwent a wood grain filling process to make them look smooth and new and they did look like new cabinets.We had the final work completed just in time for Christmas and we received tons of compliments on the workmanship of Got a Painter, we are beyond pleased and they definitely exceeded our expectations. Don’t hesitate make the call, increase the value of your home and bring it current. Thank you Tom, Nico and Donna , you gained a customer for life.

    Oh my goodness…where to start..From the first text to the last, Tommy & Donna were the best and we knew immediately we had made the right decision to go with Got A Painter. We had a few kitchen cabinets that needed to be redone due to wear, nicks, etc. I can’t even describe how absolutely amazing the work Tommy did to revive them. They are just beautiful!!! I could go on and on, but grab your phone and call/text them now! Absolutely no need to spend more time trying to find someone for your project. You will be beyond happy and most likely make a couple new friends too!!!!

    When we purchased our home we had an off white glazed finish on our cabinets. They looked new, but totally not our style. We knew this update was a want, and not a need so budgets and expectations were important to us. We reached out to got a painter and expressed our concern on the current glossy finish and what our dream look would be. They were honest, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable on what we could do to achieve our goals within our budget and timelines. From start to finish I felt like we were working with friends! They even let my dogs out while I was at work! Seriously, the kindest people ever. I can not recommend them to enough of our friends and family!

    I am so happy with my cabinets. Tommy and Niko have excellent work and they are so professional. Wow my cabinets look brand new! Donna was great at calling with updates and answering all our questions, she responds right away. I had several other estimates and I chose them even though they were the highest bid but I knew they were the best and my cabinets are gorgeous! I know they will last many years!     If you are debating on whether or not you want to wait for Got a Painter due to all the jobs in front of yours or the price is a little higher than other bids, this review is for YOU! My wife and I decided we just couldnt wait the 3 month lead time for Got a Painter to do our cabinet refinishing. We hired someone else who said all the right things and could start right away. The result was a disaster and Got a Painter saved the day! That someone else did not do the proper prep work on the cabinets, cut corners, used an incorrect primer and paint combination and ultimately we ended up with a mess that cost us thousands of dollars to fix. Small claims court is in our future now due to our lack of patience. Dont make the same mistake! Tommy and his wife were compassionate and empathetic to our situation. They were willing to work nights, weekends, and early mornings to fit my job in to rectify all the damage. No one knows more about paint, primers, clear coats, sealants, or refinishing cabinets than Got a Painter period. You will not find anyone who is as professional, knowledgeable, or dedicated to the craft of cabinet refinishing as Got a Painter. I have gutted 3 kitchens and I have never met someone who takes such great pride in producing quality work. Dont risk it. Wait for Got a Painter. I dont want to see anyone go through 8 months of hell like we did or spend thousands of dollars to clean up a hot mess. Just hire Got a Painter and sleep well at night knowing your cabinet refinishing will be done right the first time. I am happy to speak to anyone who is on the fence as to whether or not to wait for Got a Painter. I have the pictures of what Tommy fixed to prove he is worth the wait. Dont make the same mistake my wife and I made.

    I can not say enough good things about the work they did in my home. We had outdated oak cabinets that were in great condition and they brought them back to life. They look like brand new cabinets and are absolutely beautiful! As a realtor, I’ve seen countless kitchens with painted cabinets and I can truly say mine do not look like painted cabinets. They look like we bought brand new ones. I am absolutely in love with my new kitchen.

    WOW! They did an AMAZING job with my cabinets. Long list of reasons as to why you need to hire them ASAP:Skilled craftsmanship. My cabinets turned out beautiful. No streak or brush marks. They do not look like they were painted, they look like I bought them that way. That’s professional. That’s beautiful. That’s art. They do not cut corners! Please note that they do not just paint your cabinets and call it a day. It’s an extensive and laborious multi-step process, which they take care and effort to complete. Lots of washing and sanding and priming - then painting. They even patch any existing damaged areas. They are thorough and detailed!Clean. I confess - I’m a bit of a neat freak. I also have really expensive wood floors that I was slightly freaking out about them getting paint on. NOPE. Not one tiny little, stray spec of paint anywhere. Nico made sure to clean up after himself before leaving everyday. He even mopped my kitchen floor one day, which officially makes him one of my favorite humans.Timely. They gave me a start date, which they very much started on. And kept me informed of how things were moving along. They didn’t waste my time. Nico was at my front door when he said he would be - not one minute later.Transparent. From the quoting process, to project start, project duration, and project completion - I knew what was happening and what to expect. The quote is super detailed, which is awesome and not always the case with other home pros.Reasonably and competitively priced. Definitely cheaper than buying new cabinets. Especially since my existing cabinets were in perfectly good condition. It was a lot less than I had expected it to be.Friendly. Such wonderful human beings.
