    Mike and his team at Regan Total Construction completed a project for us in May.  The new TREX deck is beautiful, and in all respects from start to finish, we could not have been happier with the entire experience.  Every step of the way from demolition to completion, Mike and his hard working crew kept us fully apprised of what was happening, and there were never any surprises.  Most notably, Mike is a genuinely terrific guy - personable, super friendly, and a pleasure to work with.  He is an expert professional who is incredibly responsive and ALWAYS available to promptly answer our questions, provide creative ideas, and advise us on various options.   Were grateful to have discovered Mike Regan, and we cant emphasize enough how proud we are of our new deck!Kristen & E.T.     We worked with Mike and his team on a brand new Trex deck. We loved working with Mike. He was extremely responsive, had great ideas for us to implement as we were discussing the project, and had the deck completed in a timely manner and looking great! With this being our first deck project - Mike made the process extremely easy and answered all of questions. His team was professional and did a great job with the build, cleaning up, and having the deck ready to go. Mike coordinated with plumbers and electricians to make sure this project incorporated all of our deck needs. We cant wait to start using it!

    I am writing this review with a view of my new deck and could not be happier. From my initial contact with Mike Regan, I was 100% sure he would be the contractor that we went with when we first considered getting our new composite deck. Mike emailed me back promptly, taking the time to address each and every one of my questions in detail. His knowledge and attention to detail was evident immediately. It was clear that he was methodical and thoughtful and the ultimate professional.Mike, Matt and every member of the crew were a dream to work with. They were incredibly professional and very hard working. The crew became members of our family that week as my sons excitedly watched their trucks arrive in the morning and loved to watch the construction being done. (Construction became the go-to game in our house!) Matt even gave my older son a Regan Total Construction baseball cap which he still wears proudly as his construction hat whenever we go out!The deck itself is incredible. Sleek and beautiful and has become my favorite view or place to sit.     We really couldnt be more pleased with Regan Total Construction and our new deck. Mike and his team are organized and professional, and they do beautiful work. We signed the contract on February 1st, the footings were in by February 18, and our deck was completed the first week in May. Construction took two weeks (as promised), and the job site was immaculate when they were finished. We look forward to enjoying our beautiful deck for decades to come.

    I am absolutely blown away by the performance and quality of the entire team at Regan Total Construction. I take a great deal of pride in my professional work and it was refreshing to FINALLY deal with a contractor that does the same. Mike Regan was phenomenal on the quoting and design phase of the project and kept my informed on his installation timeline every step. He was also prepared and very professional. Once Matt Elchner, his project manager, took over my project it went off without a hitch. 2600 sq/ft of complete tear out and deck replacement, installed in the harsh cold of December in CT. ON TIME, ON BUDGET and literally not one mistake or extra. All of his staff clearly take a great deal of pride in their craftsmanship and customer communication.     I am writing this review while sitting on my new deck, sipping coffee on this beautiful spring morning. I couldn’t be happier if I was on vacation in some faraway place. I knew the deck would be a big improvement, but I’m surprised at just how much I love it now that it’s done.Regan Total Construction was a great company to work with. Since my project was a large, second story deck with a rain escape system to cover the patio I have planned below, I wanted to be sure it was not only beautiful but safe and sound. Based on their portfolio, reviews, and credentials I was sure RTC had the experience and qualifications for the job.The whole process went so smoothly. Mike is organized, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. He takes the time to listen to what you want, offers suggestions and ideas, and helps you work through all the decisions.     Mike Regan and team at Regan Total Construction were great from beginning to end, working through a number of design choices about replacing our current decks, and recommending materials and design to maximize our space/value. Conversations w/Mike were always very transparent in terms of how design and materials would impact cost and functionality, and what choices we could make that might impact those things. Once we got going, his team doing the build could not have been more professional -- very communicative extremely conscious of our property -- they were much more concerned than I was about things like where they parked, keeping everything clean, and ensuring that their work wouldnt be an interruption to us. We were out of town for part of the install, and they even helped us take care of a delivery to the house while we were gone. When I did have questions about buildout, materials, building codes, etc., we always the information we needed. Could not ask for a better process or team!

    Mike Regan and team replaced a large two tier deck. Original deck was damaged by wind/tree. Mike is expert in working with insurance companies to ensure claim payout is appropriate. Hes also great at working with you on material choices and design options. Offers great ideas but also listens to yours. Old deck demo and new deck construction were top notch. Teams were very hard working, very skilled, knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions and help understand how something was being done or going to look. Fantastic to work with. Overall outstanding experience. Would highly recommend to anyone.

    Regan Total Construction replaced all of our 14-year old decking and railings with TREX and we couldnt be happier with their work and the product!     Regan Total Construction replaced our 25yr old deck with a brand new, gorgeous, Trex deck in June 2020. Right from the start Mike was professional, responsive, and wonderful to work with. Mike and his crew are the epitome of what working with a contractor should be like - and trust me, after some very bad experiences with contractors, we’re VERY picky about who we work with - He was super knowledgeable and very thorough while walking us through the entire process, detailing costs and showing us samples of all of the Trex products (and had tons of pictures of completed projects) so we could make an informed decision. Mike’s staff was friendly, hard-working and responsive to questions/concerns throughout the build. Mid-build I requested a change in the width of the stairs and they were quick to amend the build even though it meant additional work for them, and at no cost to me. Clearly a new Trex deck is an investment, but we were so comfortable with Regan Total Construction throughout the whole process and are thrilled with the results. I would definitely recommend Regan Total Construction to anyone looking to build/replace a deck!

    Our experience with Regan Total Construction was nothing short of first class! At every point in the project, our questions were answered promptly and concerns addressed. You can never fully know what to expect when you embark on home improvement projects, but our original expectations were met and then some. Our project required additional materials and a timeline slightly longer than quoted based on what was discovered about our original construction. To compensate, Mike Regan quickly assigned additional professionals to our project to help make up for lost time. For all of you home improvement needs, we 100% recommend RTC. The quality of their work and professional responsiveness is nothing like any I have encountered in the industry. Two GIANT thumbs up!

    We had Regan Total Construction do our remodel in the summer of 2015. I would never think of calling anyone else. From the planning stages to the end result we could not have been more satisfied. Every time I called Michael with a question (and it was a lot) he always contacted me right away and answered every question without hesitation. Matt was awesome to work with and was super respectful of our space. Everyday the site was completely cleaned before anyone went home and in the end we were and still are very happy with the final result.     I write this review having been in the construction industry for 40+ years, as well as having my own construction company. I have since retired. I contracted with RTC to build a deck at the second floor level of our new home. From our very first meeting to the clean-up of their materials, Michael and his company have been nothing less than terrific to work with. They were extremely flexible with my schedule, punctual and with a high quality of workmanship. There was a miscommunication on the stairway, which was my fault. That resulted in an increased number of labor hours as well as some extra materials. However, without complaining or negatively effecting my schedule, the work was completed. After a brief discussion with Michael, he split the additional cost of my miscommunication, which they were under no obligation to do. When the town did the final inspection, they were so impressed with the workmanship that the inspector actually took pictures to share with other contractors in terms of quality workmanship and to meet code requirements. Therefore, I unabashedly and wholeheartedly recommend them, of which I have already done!

    Regan Total Construction (RTC) just completed a tear down and rebuild of our deck, and they did an excellent job. I manage real estate (150 buildings) and direct our relations with contractors, but we do not use our work-related contractors at our homes for conflict of interest reasons. I have had mixed experiences with most other contractors working at my house, many of whom I would never consider using at work. This is not the case for RTC. They showed up when they said they would, they got the job done in the timeframe they provided to us, and most importantly they did excellent quality work. The crew members were very courteous, as well. We would hire them again to do work at our house.

    Thanks to Regan Total Construction we could not be happier with our new multi level Trex deck. Mike and his team were amazing to work with from first meeting to completed project. Mike is a true professional and was so accommodating during the planning process. They removed our old wooden deck, replaced it with beautiful composite trex decking and rails, and added a second lower level deck all in about 3 weeks once construction began. The crew did a great job, the construction was done in the winter months under less than desireable conditions some days the temps hovered in the single digits, but they pushed on and got the job done in a timely manner. He is aware of the investment a project like this is and doesnt take it lightly. He really listened to what I was looking for, and was ready with suggestions to help me achieve what I envisioned. He was also very easy to work with when it came to changes I wanted to make and always responded right away with any questions. I also had a patio built under the deck and Mike connected me with a hardscape contractor. They are two different companies but they work well with each other. Mike made it all very easy for me.His crew was absolutely great. Very professional, organized, and definitely skilled. I am really happy with their workmanship. They worked on my project throughout the winter, even when it was snowing. There were a couple times during the framing process when conditions were icy and not safe to walk along the joists which are at a second level height. Mike was immediately in contact, keeping me up to date with situations like that (which there were very few of) as well as all phases of the project which was completed right on schedule.I have no hesitation in recommending Mike Regan for everyone’s deck project.

    Shortly after I sent photos to Mike Regan of our decaying deck, he came and discussed what we wanted and made recommendations, and brought samples and models of different styles and colors of composite material. Very helpful was sending us to the lumber yard in Enfield which sold the materials where we could see full size examples of the products and visualize various colors, decks, stairs and railings. Mike was very good at explaining what options we had and what he suggested we consider doing. His crew was professional, efficient and painstaking with the small details. In five days they removed the old wooden deck, added an additional support post to accommodate an increase of 16 sq. ft. (for total 238 sq. ft.) and completed the work. He and his crew answered our questions about the various stages and methods of construction which gave us utmost confidence in their capabilities. Decks are their specialty and primary business. We are very pleased with the results of their work and highly recommend Regan Total Construction. 5/12/2020

I first reached out to Mike one year before the project started. Mike provided a detailed estimate and gave us valuable information to begin planning our project. Once we were ready to move forward, Mike worked with us patiently throughout the whole process from start to finish. Mike had a detailed plan for each of the unique circumstances (i.e. moving baseboard heaters, installing a new slider, removing old deck /footings and sealing up old door).
