    GE Smith Electric provides electric service for our construction projects including, outdoor kitchens, swimming pools, interior lighting and wiring. Their service is clean and professional. We have been using them for 25 years. They are highly recommended.

    Its been a few years since Gary and his team upgraded my electrical panel in my home so Im negligent in not have written earlier about the complete and professional job that he and his team did. Not only did they upgrade my panel to 200amp but in doing so coordinated with another contractor to move my A/C, unit that was too close to my electric meter, and coordinated with PSE&G to rework my meter wiring. All this work was performed quickly with negligible disruption to our house power. You very rarely find a contractor that not only does great work BUT makes it their business to coordinate other subs at minimal cost and disruption to you. Gary will be my first call should I or my family need any electrical work. P.S., I would add a + to my 5 star rating if I could.

    I called a number of Electric Companys once I was informed I had to replace my rusted out meter pan and hire my own electrician to do the job.No one would take the job because it would involve upgrading my fuse box as well.When I called G.E.Smith Electric, they answered the phone, came out the next day to estimate the job and gave me a good quote also explaining everything I would be charged for. They got all the permits etc., and I had to do nothing!The job was scheduled for exactly one week later. The electricians were right on time, extremely neat and very thorough.They completed the job the same day and the bill was exactly as stated. Thank-You to a great company and an excellent job.

    Ive used GE Smith for my electrical service requirements for many years now. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. In many cases, they have saved us money by providing less expensive solutions compared to what we had planned. Most recently, the staff saved us from an Easter nightmare with a house full of people. Theyve always been reasonably priced and accommodating to our schedule. Keep up the great work!

    From the time of the estimate through completion, Gary and his crew were very professional. They installed a new 200 amp service box with whole house surge protection. The installation went well and looks very neat. They were very accommodating with my schedule and handled the permit process very well. Instead of charging a set permit fee, they charged only the township fee which was under $100. I thought that my garbage disposer was left unconnected, but it was a coincidental issue that had nothing to do with their install. Nonetheless, they were out the next day to help me figure out that it was just a tripped gfci which we reset with the push of a button. I felt bad about calling them out over something that was my own fault. And that is why I am reiterating that their commitment to helping customers is excellent. I will use them for all future work.

    Great work, Very professional, and recommended enhancements to improve my remodeling project.I highly recommend G E Smith Electric.Initially hired Gary to add power a new fireplace and above TV hookup. After bouncing around a few ideas that I had, he made suggestions to add sconces, re-center a ceiling fan and add new ceiling lights and switches.These additions werent made to pad the bill.     This firm was fast on response and execution of the installations and repairs we needed done. New overhead lighting in one room and upgraded overheads to LED in another, New ceiling fan installed, new bath exhaust fan installed; wired and properly exhausted. Had some sketchy outlets they evaluated and repaired or replaced what was needed. A few months after new ceiling lights were installed, one of the lights became problematic (LED) and it took one email and Gary had a crew ready to fix it on my schedule, much appreciated.

    We just had a great experience with GE Smith Electric. They were recommended to us by family.We had two bathroom vent fans installed and four bedroom fans with lots ghts. All of these fixtures were installed for the first time (not replaced). In other words they had to cut through the ceilings from the attic and run wiring to light switches.The job was done professionally, using drop clothes and booties on their shoes. Our beds were protected and the floors were left clean! They arrived on time and worked efficiently. Everything looks great! (And our bathroom vent fans are sooo quiet!)
