    DP Electric came out and installed a Manual Transfer Switch for my generator 9/17/20. They were on time and explained to me in detail what they were going to do. They promptly installed the switch and walked me through the entire process. Once they completed the installation we than did a test run hooking up the generator. They verified the sustainable load of the generator. We then tested switching from generator. They left detailed instructions on the panel, labeled the essential switches and verified everything was in working order. I was impressed with the details they provided. We joked that now that I have my switch installed I wouldnt need it for the next 5yrs ... wrong! We lost power on the morning of 9/30/2020 and with my family both working and going to school from home we were in a bind ... fortunately I was able to quickly hookup my generator to the Transfer Switch and was the family hero!!! Thanks DP Electric!!!

    DP Electric did a very good job. I called them for three separate jobs in the past four weeks. They came out on the same day as called. Work was completed efficiently, neatly, and reasonably. Little Dave and Chad are great team. Very professional and good communication. Highly recommended.

    David was responsive and helpful when I reached out. He came prepared with all the parts needed and on-time. Excellent communication and planning. He took the time to read all the information I sent, requested photos and gave me a quote with fair pricing. When he came he brought his crew of two people. They worked well and quickly. They were all nice and honest people. I will call them again if I have any electrical work.

    I needed a pair of pendant lights replaced. DP Electric came out the day after I called! A couple other longstanding issues were addressed as well, including replacing a new ballast in a non-functioning fluorescent light fixture. Its so nice to have that light working again after many years. They checked some outlets and tightened connections there and in the electric panel boxes. THEN Dave noticed 2 well pump electric line water pipe mounting clamps were corroded. So he replaced them with new ones..Very nice! I appreciate such thoroughness and you will too! :)

    Own a home? Then you will need electrical work at some point. Forget Angies List and other electricians and go directly to DP. I have used them several times on 2 separate homes. In both cases the response was quick (same day in one case and next day in other instance). Everyone else was 1-2 weeks out, unless of course I was willing to pay some ridiculous premium! Not DP! David was just as busy but his eye is on the customer and if he can squeeze your job in, he will. His guys are great. Polite, friendly, and extremely thorough. They clean up after themselves and even fix minor other issues they discover if needed. In addition their fees are reasonable for the service they provide. Dont waste your time looking elsewhere! Dont pay over-priced response fees. Just call David at DP Electric. Ill never go anywhere else for my electrical work

    I called Dave because I was unable to get power to my pool pump and my pool had turned into a deep green pond...with wildlife and all. The pump had not been working for about 6 days prior and I needed help immediately. I found DP Electric online and called at lunchtime. I received an immediate call back from Dave himself. He spent about a 1/2 hour on the phone with me trying to walk thru a couple of troubleshooting items before he sent someone out to the house. We were unable to determine/fix the issue, so Dave sent a crew out almost immediately. I waited at home, they showed within 20 minutes, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it in about an hour. They even informed me the original circuit breaker was not installed with the proper GFI capability, a code violation and safety hazard. They were able to get the proper breaker from the warehouse and come back and install it the same afternoon. Overall, Dave and his crew were outstanding to work with and I am excited to know I now have a reliable electrician going forward. Would definitely use DP Electric again and would highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical help!

    DP electric is awesome. My husband and I had a circuit go out that he couldn’t trace and fix on his own. After having no luck being able to get on a different electrician’s schedule, we finally contacted DP electric and it was a great decision. Dave got us on the schedule right away. He contacted us with a day and time his guys would be here. His guys lil Dave and Aaron showed up on time and went right to work. They were able to find and fix the issue within a hour. They worked so fast and efficient all while providing high quality work. Both gentlemen were very polite and personable, explaining everything they were doing and answering all of our questions. We would highly recommend DP electric to anyone looking for an electrician. We will definitely be using them for any electrical work we may need done in the future.

    DP Electric was recommended by two different friends who were very happy with Dave and his crew. Now i know why....we had them hook up electricity in our Gazebo. It was a day after a day long rain which made it a bit muddy. We have a light colored carpet in there but they covered their work areas with drop cloths and not one spot of mud! More importantly their work was efficient, professional, and extremely neat, as well as being very conscious of cleaning up!I mentioned a plug that was sparking in our kitchen for another appointment but they took care of that issue after 6 hrs of working on Gazebo! Needless to say, we are very happy and will definitely use Dave and his crew again!!

    From the moment the owner, David, came to quote this job, I knew I was dealing with an expert and experienced pro. As we walked through the house, he educated me about two in-progress situations that didnt look right to him that I was working on with my building contractors. I was then able to ask the right questions and get those jobs done the right way by the other party. DP also coordinated seamlessly with my building contractors as needed.Meanwhile, Lil’ Dave and Talant on the DP team did a great job adding electrical boxes and outlets and installing light and fan fixtures. They are professional in dress and manner. They text updates about their arrival. They arrive on time and work straight through the day with just a coffee and lunch break. They get a lot done in in a day! They drape the area they are working in and clean it up afterward. In my case, they were remarkably good natured about my dogs being present; even when one of the dogs kept trying to steal any parts within reach. 😊The DP Electric Team makes sure they understand your wishes and that you know how to operate the fixtures. For instance, Lil Dave called me at work to hear what height I wanted the dining room light to hang over the table. Then, he left a note on the counter with instructions on how to use the remote controls for the new ceiling fan.DP Electric is a top notch company and you will be happy you hired them!

    We have the power out for 48 hours and we tried our best to find electrician and then I used home advisors app which helped me to find this company DP electric Inc and the electrician who came is David Matkowski, that he came quickly and was so nice to us. He promised to help and he work hard in the darkness to get the power back to our home. He is such an honest active happy person. He has his smile on all the time and did great job. I recommend him and his company strongly for business. It is great that our community has such great people like him.

    We had a partial power outage at our house to which we couldn’t figure out why.I called DP electric and David had his guys out here the next morning. They had the issue fixed quickly and took the time to ground our electric to our water pipe. Extremely professional, I would recommend to anyone.

    DP Electric was awesome! Our pool filter was not working and we needed someone to take a look at it ASAP. I called several places, DP Electric were the only ones who actually answered the phone. David the owner answered, asked me a few questions about my problem and sent Aaron to our house that day! He was there within 2 hours of my phone call. Aaron was professional and talked me through what he was doing step by step. He replaced our switch and plug and our filter was working within 2 hours. Great workmanship, professional and excellent service! I would recommend this company if you are needing any type of electrical work.

    I purchased a new electric stove and it was delivered this morning. The old stove was custom so the outlet was in the wrong location. I jumped online and found DP Electric. They called me in less than 30 minutes and came to my house about 2 hours later. He was done before noon! I couldn’t believe how quickly they took care of me. I thought it might be expensive since they responded so quickly but the price was less than I expected. I’ve never used them before but if this is how they treat strangers I can only imagine how well they’ll treat regular customers!! I’m definitely becoming a regular!!

    Talk about efficient! Back story; My Dad had a stroke and a bum knee and was not in good health anymore. He had an electrical issue that he tried to fix for weeks and it was really wearing on him. You can’t stop a perfectionist from trying to fix something they have set their mind on fixing. The issue was located on the third and fourth floor which made it even worse.I saw him the day after Halloween and he looked very weak. I know that look. So I got on the phone and called a few different electricians. Dave answered the phone immediately and spent 20 minutes with me trying to troubleshoot what it could be. He didn’t need to do that.He offered to show up the next day at 7:30 AM and I asked him to let me know when the charges hit $500 so that we could re-evaluate (my budget for this unexpected expense)$500 is about three hours of work. These guys showed up on time, polite, came in and went to WORK! No breaks. Hustling. We need to get this done in under 3 hrs. Lets go! Up and down 4 fights probably 30x. They finally found it, just under 3 hrs by going rogue and trying something unconventional. Im so impressed.My Dad is so impressed.Dad actually told me he thinks I may have saved his life, and these guys are going to be his electricians from now on. I couldn’t be happier. 5 stars. Thank you so much again.

    Last year Dave’s employee, Dave, installed a dining room chandelier and updated a light switch with a dimmer and also an outlet. It was done amazingly well and with great professionalism. I recently worked with Dave and his employee, Dave (again), on a project in my living room to add wall sconces, a light switch, an outlet, and a wall mounted tv bracket. Dave came to my house in order to provide me with a very accurate estimate, and they got started the very next day. Their work was meticulous as was the clean up afterwards.

    Had them come out to install a Nest Hello video doorbell. I live in an older house that didnt already have an existing doorbell, so they had to do all the wiring and install a chime box in addition to the video door bell. Fast, friendly, and professional. Will definitely call DP Electric if I need an electrician in the future.

    David and his team did an excellent job from start to finish and support after. I just got done building a custom home with a fair amount of smart features. Above the standard home electrical, we did over 30 Ethernet drops, 37 recessed lights, accent lights in most rooms (chandeliers), smart switches, generator interlock along with many other electrical add-ons. They kept me updated and used their expertise to make great suggestions along the way. The price was reasonable and the work was spot on. The wires were run neat and straight, even most wont be seen. I am very happy with the work that was done!

    Dave and his crew at DP Electric Inc. did and OUTSTANDING job at our home. I am in the building trades myself and I have to say it was an absolute privilege to work with them!We had lost power to half of our home overnight, I contacted DP Electric and Dave was at our front door before I could bat an eye. He found that our breaker panel was severely corroded, causing power loss to half of the breakers and putting us at risk for a fire. We approved the work ASAP and he and his crew were back onsite the following day to move forward with the replacement. They showed up early in their company branded gear, ready for work. They had all the needed tooling and materials to tackle the project. They are a top notch outfit that represents professionalism at its finest! At the end of the project Dave spent the time to go over all the work that had been done while his team cleaned up as if they were never there. Great job DP Electric Inc. you guys are life savers!!!
