    I couldn’t be happier with the kitchen remodel Plain View Construction completed on my 1954 home in the heart of Bismarck. This wasnt new construction but a kitchen full of old butter stains and love and they dove right in ready to help me make it my own. From the very beginning, they listened carefully to my vision, respecting my strong desire to preserve the home’s original character while incorporating unique design elements that made the space truly mine.The team excelled at balancing my personal style with the everyday functionality I wanted, creating a kitchen that’s both beautiful and practical. They stayed on budget and met every timeline they clearly communicated from the start—a rare and much-appreciated quality!!What really set them apart was the construction crew. Every day, they treated my home like their own, delivering top-notch craftsmanship with professionalism, great personalities, and even a bit of good humor to lighten the process. Their attention to detail and respectful approach made the experience enjoyable from start to finish - watching how every little detail was discussed and polished a the end was the cherry on top.I highly recommend Plain View Construction for anyone looking for a thoughtful, high-quality home renovation work.     Top notch experience with Plain View!We recently worked with the Plain View team to remodel our master bath after some water damage. They were recommended to us by friends, and I’m so pleased we were able to work with them! I do believe they are the best in the area and truly produce some of the most beautiful, modern designs that are high quality and will stand the test of time.The process was very collaborative and we appreciated their attention to detail and focus on making sure they were delivering exactly what we wanted. We felt that once work actually started it went very quickly, minimizing disruption to our daily routine. They also prioritized cleanliness and leaving the site as livable as possible while construction was ongoing. Erin was great about checking in regularly, even giving us daily updates during construction, which was very appreciated. We felt very comfortable raising any concerns and they were quick to address any issues. Even months later they were checking in to make sure we were happy and there were no concerns.It was a pleasure to work with the entire Plain View team, and we would absolutely recommend them to family and friends. We would love to work with them again on any future projects!

    We had Plain View complete our kitchen / dining room / living room remodel. They did a fantastic job every step of the way. The design was laid out well - we had a lot of collaboration in this area and they were able to take our vision and make it come to life! The project went really quickly and we felt like progress was made every time someone was at our house. The site was always left very clean as well.Communication was always honest, open, and professional. We felt comfortable asking questions about budget details or if something didn’t look quite right during construction. They always responded in a timely matter with expertise. My husband and I are both engineers so we are very detail oriented and picky. Plain View met and exceeded our expectations!!

    We worked with PlainView before they had the ‘+Build’ so they designed our custom home about 9 years ago. We are 2 hours away from Bismarck, and they still made the process so easy. They were a dream to work with!! Very very professional, very thorough, such amazing design. Our home is not at all what we first envisioned it to look like, but we absolutely love it still 7 years later! Awesome awesome company to work with! Can’t say enough good things. We are excited for our next project with them :)

    As far as design goes, there is absolutely no one in the Bis/Man area better at home design than Plain View. As designers ourselves, it was really important to us to hire someone who *understood* good design, and we, without question, got that in Tanner and the Plain View team. Not only does Plain View excel at design, they were *highly* motivated to maintain the integrity of it throughout our build (which was actually a full-house remodel and expansion). I cannot express how much these things make a difference and how rare they truly are in our location. We feel so lucky to have PV here. On top of all of this, they were communicative and transparent to work with. And the result? A home we LOVE and will stand the test of time: in design, in high-quality craftsmanship, and in our harsh ND climate. PV is rare gem. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

They understood the aesthetic we had in mind, helped with creative solutions to some of the unique challenges of remodeling an older home, and their work was meticulous. Theyre constantly pushing the design boundary and always bring fun, unique concepts to us, which we enjoy bringing to life! But it is kinda scary as well, especially if you are like us and have no idea of where to even start. When you meet Tanner and Logan and go through their initial processes, there will be no doubt in your mind they have the ability to produce your dream!The ONLY regret I have is that we didn’t follow through with Tanner, Logan and Plain View Design. Life is full of choices and is forever changing. They helped us pick out all of the finishes and introduced us to high quality cabinets (that also fit our budget) that well enjoy for many years to come.     When we decided to build a house, we wanted it to be everything we ever wished we had, and include all the things over the years that we loved about our other houses. Things like a south facing driveway, large open living spaces, a modern aesthetic, phenomenal views, an art studio, and outdoor spots to enjoy North Dakotas summers. The process we went through with Plain View Designs was so creative and fun. They got to know us and really spent time being thoughtful about the design. They took into consideration the build site and how we could maximize the views and sun, but minimize wind. They even helped us plan out a place to hide our garbage cans. We wanted simple yet dreamy and thats exactly what we got. They are absolute artists when it comes to modern design.

    Not only did we purchase our first and forever home, but we were expecting our first child. At the time, the house we purchased was outdated, closed off, and inconvenient for a family. Upstairs-the house had one bedroom and the master bath was the only full bathroom.The vision of Tanner and Logan at Plain View Design + Build truly transformed our house and made it into our home. We are no longer living in the 90s. Our home is modern and up-to-date and convenient for our family. Tanner and Logan added a bedroom, full bath, and a laundry room to our main floor.Plain View Design + Build was professional, had great communication skills, and truly eliminated the stress of a renovation especially as we welcomed our first child.
