    Bear Valley got me out of big jam when I came to find water coming out of my homes’ shut off and drain valve. They had put it in 2 years back so i was perplexed. Called them up, and they came out same day. Quentin George came out and diagnosed things and found out it was not a large issue at all. Quentin explained the diagnostic process, showed me how to avoid it in the future, and best of all , assured me the warranty was still in place to cover if it were a problem, which was huge relief. Great jump overall, and I will call them again for my next project

    I contacted Bear Valley Plumbing regarding a water leak under the kitchen sink and to get a quote to install a water conditioning system. Quentin was the service tech who responded to my need and what a great experience I had with him. He found the cause of the leak quickly and repaired it just as quickly. He also surveyed for the water conditioning system & provided a guaranteed price quotation in a professional manner that was as impressive as his ability to repair the leak. I was totally satisfied with the Quentins services today and I look forward to working with Bear Valley Plumbing again in the future.

    We have a vacation home in Big Bear, and during a recent visit, we found a major water leak in the ceiling as soon as we turned on the water. I called at least seven plumbers, but nobody was available or responsive. Bear Valley Plumbing & Heating answered right away and had a technician at our home within the hour. Their team was professional, polite, and explained everything clearly. They quickly diagnosed the burst pipe and had it fixed in about 30 minutes. I’m relieved they were there when we needed them and will definitely call them again. Highly recommended!

    Bear Valley Plumbing and Heating is the BEST.Quinton was my serviceman -- he was knowledgeable, efficient, cleaned up , gave me options, NEVER felt any sales push - Got the Job done same day.     We were told by the water company that we had a leak on our property and that the water had been turned off. We were referred to Bear Valley Plumbing as a company that could both find and repair the leak. Quinten and Angel were are technicians and we cant say enough about their professionalism. Quinten walked us through every part of the process as we checked all the bathrooms and outside valves. Lucky for us it was the shut off valve that hadnt been completely shut off by workers at our home. Such a relief!!! We would recommend them to anyone with plumbing or heating issues in their home. Thank you for the great service!!

    Im a full time resident of Big Bear and the house Im living in was purchased in 2003 and built in the 80s. The forced air heater in it was the original one and it finally died this last October. I called Bear Valley Plumbing and Heating for a new one. Brian came out, took some measurements, and ordered a new unit for me. He ordered a new unit for me. He came back 3 days later and installed my new FAU. My old unit was costing me over $1000/mo to heat the house during the peak winter months and my new unit heats it for $400/mo saving me $600/mo for Dec, Jan, Feb! Ive saved over $2500 this winter! Brian completed the job faster than I expected for a great price! I highly recommend Bear Valley Plumbing and Heating!

    Were selling my parents home in Big Bear. BBCSD detected a slow but persistent water leak somewhere on the property. Im not really familiar with the local talent, (were flatlanders, as my dad would say). I saw that my parents had used Bear Valley Plumbing & Heating several times over the years that they lived in Big Bear, so we gave them a call. We were pressed for time, Rebecca and Ally were professional, friendly, and very helpful. They were able to quickly set up an appointment with a technician to troubleshoot the leak. Quentin was at the house in short order. He was thorough, explaining what he did every step of the way, before he did it. Within a couple hours, he had it narrowed down to the main water line. He gave us three options, explained the pros and cons of each, and told us to take some time to make a decision. The next day, we went in person to talk with Rebecca and Ally. First we talked payment options. When that was worked out, we let them know we had a timing issue and asked if they could possibly fit us in. They were ready to start right away, but they agreed to wait until the property was photographed in preparation for sale. They started the process in the late afternoon, sometime after the photographer was finished. Rebecca, Ally, and Quentin kept us informed every step of the way regarding payment options, when the marking for utilities would happen, when trenching would begin, when the plumbing repairs were started, when the repair was finished and when the backfill would be completed. Quentin even sent photos of the work. I didnt get their names, but we met the the trenching crew and they explained what they planned to do. I was amazed they were able to leave the yard as it was before the trenching. The job was finished three days before the home hit the market. We couldnt be happier with the experience.     You get what you pay for, buy once, cry once. I had some jury-rigged drains under my sinks from years ago, the new sinks were so deep that it messed with the drainage causing backups and the drain pipes to blow apart. Ive had 3 plumbers fix it in 3 years. None of these licensed and bonded plumbers would stand by their work and fix it properly.I bit the bullet and called BV plumbing and Heating. Yes, they were more expensive than the other plumbers, but PROFESSIONAL PLUMBERS came, re-piped all of my drains, changed angles and heights so gravity can do its job. They were clean, quick, and the drains run excellent. They were also REALLY nice to my dog.I wish I could get my wasted money back from all of the other plumbers, but am happy with the value I got for every penny to BVPH. Do a job right the first time, its way cheaper in the long run.

    Every single aspect of their service has been outstanding. Responded quickly when we ask for a quote on a major job removing an old propane wall furnace and installing two new units in our cabin. Their tech, Quentin, arrived on time, masked and with paper boots on to keep from tracking dirt into the cabin. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and discussed our options clearly.He also led the team that installed our new wall furnaces. Again, everything was just right. They finished the job in the promised time. The installation was very tidy and workmanlike. They cleaned up the job site each day as though it was a hospital operating room. Quentin consulted with us whenever there were questions about how the job should be done— move the electric outlet “here” or “there”? for example. When he was done he explained exactly what work he had done, and demonstrated how the new furnaces operate.We have done extensive remodeling in five different residential buildings. We have had a few contractors as good, but none better.Highly recommended! Absolutely the best.

    Outstanding, professional service. We had a problem with our home heating unit. They came during the time window they said they would, and they quoted accurately all the proposed work/service charges beforehand. Most importantly, the serviceman, Quentin, was very knowledgeable about his job, and he had the right tools and equipment to accomplish the job the first time, on the first visit. He was also extremely professional, and took care not to track dirt into the house by using shoe covers; this was impressive, and appreciated! Overall, EXCELLENT value for the price.

    I awoke yesterday to a very cold house. My furnace decided that it did not want to work. After much research, I called Bear Valley Plumbing & Heating at 11:30 am. All of my information was taken in that initial call and passed to dispatch. Dispatch called back at 11:44 am to tell me my window for a technician to arrive was between noon and 2 pm. At 12:19 pm I received another call to tell me Bryan was on his way. Bryan arrived within 30 minutes. Before I proceed further, that process of connecting the customer and the service personnel impressed me with the type of company Bear Valley Plumbing & Heating is by keeping the customer in the loop. Kudos to the management and office staff for having the environment that makes the customer important.True to form, my furnace started right up once Bryan arrived. Restarting it over again, he could not make it fail. He explained many of the things that it could have been, but would not go chasing anything, given the current situation, but to keep their number handy, just in case. I found Bryan to be personable and very knowledgeable. He explained my furnace and the possible problems it could have been at a level I could understand. He never talked at me or over my head, but always talked to me making sure that I was understanding.I was very impressed with the entire process and would recommend Bear Valley Plumbing & Heating for plumbing and heating needs; and would not hesitate to call them again, when my need arises.

    I called for them to come take a look at my wall heater as it has been flickering a bright orange glow from the bottom and I was concerned. They made an appointment for the very next day and gave me a window of 9am - 12pm. I was fully anticipating them to be late because my experience with most Big Bear businesses is just that. Either they are late or don’t show up at all. But to my surprise, Quinton showed up right at 9am. He was very respectful, thorough, and detailed in his explanation of what he was doing and what he saw. He wore a mask and even put on booties so as to not dirty our carpet. He took good care of our home and was very conscious of the kids and cat running around. Excellent customer service from both him and the receptionist who scheduled everything. I feel good about hiring them to do a job for me. Especially something so important and that affects the safety of my family.

If I can support local business, I feel like I’m helping my own community.     I highly recommend Big Bear Plumbing and Heating. Yesterday when I came up for a one day visit to our Big Bear cabin and discovered that the thermostat was not working they were able to make a last minute appointment for me and saved the day. Bryan J was my service pro. He not only installed a new thermostat for me and explained how to use it in great detail, he also checked out the heating system (which is in a tiny attic) and put in a new filter for the heater that we had and couldnt figure out how to install. The next time I have a heating or plumbing problem I will be calling on them and asking for Bryan J. He was fantastic and went above and beyond the call of duty.Linda

    Its Sunday house is backing up. Were on septic tank. Shouldnt be full because it was pumped 6 months ago so I called a plumber.     Had a leak with our water heater on holiday weekend with family here. Brian showed up shortly after we called for service. Brian was incredibly helpful, diagnosed the problem, explained what caused it and made the repair quickly.     Our wall heater stopped working. We thought it needed new parts. Brian was quick and professional to diagnose it and give us our options. He replaced parts and cleaned out the area he was working in and explained how heaters need to be maintained yearly just like anything else.     Very impressed with the expedited service at my home. Finding I had a leak that required a major pipeline replacement and being without water for nearly a week was not my idea of a good start to the year, but Im very gracious to BVP&H for wonderful customer service. Once the excavation crew was able to schedule digging the trench, work was fast and well done. I will continue to recommend BVP&H to family and friends.

    Everyone in the area needs to know when they have plumbing issues you cant go wrong with them. The plumber, (Quentin George) was very cordial, professional and did not become annoyed when I asked him a million questions regarding the mountain life and my fears of burst pipes, clogged pipes etc. Quentin went way beyond the call to please me and the most impressive topic of his visit was his cleanliness with all the counters and bathtub and his wearing of boot covers so as to not track dirt inside my home.     Our kitchen sink disposal unit was completely clogged. We called Bear Valley plumbing and they sent their technician Brian to make repairs. He was open and friendly and thoroughly knowledgable about our situation. He also inquired about other problems we had and he addressed those as well. Overall, Brian was very professional and a pleasure to work with. We will be contacting Bear Valley next time weve got plumbing problems.

    Im not sure why I didnt write a review for their excellent service before when they replaced our furnace. Due to some wacky issues they had to come out multiple times but were always there for us until everything worked perfectly.     Bryan arrived on time, deduced the problem, and respectively communicated the issues that could be. Then after examining the pipes under the house, reviewing the water heater, and the base of the toilet where the water line comes in. He deduced a small leak between the bowl and the flange, and depending on the weather depends on whether the flange was shrinking / expanding. Within two (2) hours the leak has been deduced, and the toilet replaced for a reasonable price during these times when other companies are jacking prices, and all the trash and old toilet taken leaving a cleaner area then he came into.

    We have received nothing but excellent service from Bear Valley Plumbing & Heating and they have serviced various items in our home over the past 3.5 years that we have owned it, including replacing our water heater during a very snowy January in 2017. I want to give a special shout out to their service tech Quentin. He repaired a leak in our laundry closet that could have been a disaster last summer if we were not around when we discovered the leak. He came out earlier this week to help find a major leak that the DWP was reporting on our meter. He found the leak, which was coming from a humidifier, disconnected it and turned off the water line to it. Then since the unit is very old he gave us pricing on putting in a new unit and also for down the road if we want to add A/C. He is exceptionally good at explaining the operations of various items in our house that relate to plumbing and HVAC. I was going to have to call a plumber and an HVAC company through our home protection plan but they were going to send up someone from Riverside, an hour away, and they would not come if there was snow on the day they were planning to come, where there was! So, I cancelled their service and called Bear Valley Plumbing & Heating instead. With this company you kill two birds with one stone, plumbing and HVAC and great service. I have been very happy with their service.

    We had a problem with our waste line (from the house to the city main) Bear Valley Plumbing and heating did exactly what they said they would do, they uncovered the problem which appeared to be blockage in the public works main line. Bryce made a call and a team of public works folks came up to the house, they ran a camera up the line and determined roots were causing the the blockage. The crew came back with a Vactor truck and unblocked the main. Bryces relationship with the public works crew made this happen we didnt have to wait to schedule the un-blockage. We are now in the process oh having Bryce repair the waste lines that were damaged as a result of the main line issue .
