Bill at SG Carpentry has done a bunch of work for us over the past 18 months, and has been one of the most decent and reliable contractors I have hired during my 25+ years of home ownership. We had a resort-style master bath (i.e., no door). We found an old door at Construction Junction that we liked and went with the style of our home, and Bill built a wall with the door installed. Just fantastic work. Reliable like you do not see these days. And a great human. We have also used him for a variety of work around the house, as he offers handyman services as well. He did so great, that our condominium association has started using him for projects around the condominium. Put SG Carpentry at the top of your contractor list. You will be forever glad you did.

Recently we had our deck replaced by SG Carpentry. Bill displayed throughout the project a high quality of service and professionalism. He came to us with any unforeseen development so that we could work together as a team for the best resolution. He is very efficient and has a eye for details. His workmanship is excellent. We would recommend this company with the highest ratings.

I contacted Side Gig Carpentry to replace an interior door and fix another interior door. Bill was responsive, gave us an estimate and good advice for prep work, and showed up to do the job when he said he would. In fact, he had to come back a second day to problem solve some unexpected issues that were found once the door trim was removed (thanks to some really bad DIY work from the previous owner). He spent the time that was needed to get our doors working properly. We appreciate his professionalism and problem solving ability.

I had a nightmare contractor ‘install’ alaminate flooring and within a year has fallen apart. Not only was Bill willing to attempt to fix it (which no one was willing to do) he corrected it WAY past my expectations! He’s knowledgeable, meticulous, honest, and on time.He didn’t rush to move on to the next job. He even fixed some odds and ends i didn’t even ask him to do. I already want him back for more work!

Bill replaced the base and rockers on an old wooden rocking horse. He was very professional and his quality of work met my expectations. He was also very responsive to my questions and he finished the work in the timeframe promised. I will definitely recommend him to my friends and family.
