    My kitchen sink was clogged. It took 3 technicians to finally get the sink unclogged. They did a great job and gave me advice on how to keep the drain clean. They quoted me a price and even though the first technician had to call for additional help they charged me what they quoted. This is the third time I’ve used Aux and every time they didn’t disappoint. I like the fact that they do it all, plumbing, electrical and HVAC. I will use them again.

    I needed to replace my kitchen faucet and attempted to do it myself. After an unsuccessful attempt, and water everywhere, I called an expert 😆.     The service was great! I had a more permanent line ran to my ice make so I would have the peace of mind that it wouldn’t leak or deteriorate. Nick was amazing and explained the membership program…A must have! After hours dispatch, no dispatch fee, HVAC/Plumbing/electrical inspection once a year! We just bought our home so this is a huge peace of mind knowing we have a professional team to rely on if anything goes wrong! While Nick was here he did the plumbing inspection right then(included in membership), found a couple minor things but told me over all the remodel did a good job.I’m not a paid actor, just extremely pleased with everything. Oh I forgot the office called me to tell me Nick was on his way and sent an alert with picture of Nick and a link to track his arrival. I really can’t say enough good things!

    I had a fantastic experience with this company. After having 1 year of electrical headaches, I took a shot at calling in Aux Home Services to help me out and the nailed it at first attempt getting my issue resolved. The representative on the phone was very straight to the point and professional. She also took the time to listen carefully, the follow up leading to the actual day of service was perfect and not to mention the electrician who was spot on, on time. He also had a pretty cool personality as if we were friends for years. Overall, you guys are the best and thank you so much for coming to my home.     We were once, long time customers with Banks Quarles, prior to relocating to Jefferson county. It was nice to know that the service we had grown to know and love was available in our area (Aux). However, we need them this summer but they were booked out, and we need an immediate service, so we went with another company, regretfully. David came to our home to complete complementary checkup. He was so nice, precessional, and very knowledgeable. Unbeknownst to him, He even informed me on some things, that need to be done, even though the previous company stated they’ve had already completed (and we were charged for them). He provided pictures of work needed and after the work was completed. He also explain my system build to me and how the components work to keep the air cooling and heat heating. It was then I discovered that the previous company attempted to add an additional safety switch to my unit, claiming I didn’t have omen.Again, David was not aware of any dealings with the company I had paid for a service agreement with. It was that day, I requested a refund from the previous HVAC company and renewed a new SA with Aux.

    Nick with Aux plumbing did a great job on fixing a serious issue with our aging kitchen drain pipes. Nick was on time and very professional and attentive to correcting our problem.     I noticed my water bill was climbing progressively higher over the last three months. When I contacted the City of Tuscaloosa they said it sounded like I may have a leak. So I scheduled an appointment for AUX Plumbing to inspect my property for a water leak.After checking on the inside of the house, Hogan the AUX Plumbing Technician checked the yard. He found the leak was coming from the pipe link just next to the meter. A steady stream of water was shooting down into the earth is the reason we didnt see water puddling up.He did a great job of repairing the problem. Really professional, friendly and courteous service. He was also knowledgeable of his craft. I definitely recommend him and his company if you have any Plumbing Work thats needed.

    These guys are top notch and Ive had nothing but great experiences with them! My plumber, Kevin Donaldson, was amazing. He checked all the boxes; arrived on time, was professional, didnt waste any of my time, quickly found the leak and offered me a few different options on how he could solve the problem, made the repairs quickly but without sacrificing any quality, and charged me a very reasonable price especially for the quality of work and level of service I received. He even took before and after pictures from under my house to show me everything I couldnt see. I will be using AUX for all my repair and maintenance needs from here on out.

I was in contact with Richard Weeks over the phone and he made the entire process painless and went out of his way to work with all parties involved to make sure it was handled quickly. Our plumber, Kevin Donaldson, who was extremely knowledgeable, was able to fix everything perfectly and for much less than originally thought. Very polite, courteous, and experienced.     I’ve been using Aux in the Birmingham area for over 5 years and have only had good experiences all around. Their techs are all top notch and do good work. Some of their top tier equipment and services can be pricey, but you get what you pay for. I’ve gone bargain routes in other situations and have just ended up paying more in the long run anyway. I’d recommend them to anyone who needs heating, AC, or electric.

    Walter was very efficient and professional. Air compressor had quit working and needed to be replaced. Choose to replace unit. Called the person in charge of the purchase of a new unit. All was handled efficiently and timely in the scalding July heat. Excellent service.

    Walter Lawrence, Chris Horton & Michael were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They took photos and were very informative While determining the cause of the heating system malfunction. Heat was restored expediently and they weren’t bothered at all by the constant attention given to them from our silver lab. We will definitely be contacting them again for future home maintenance.

    I had a contract in the past with your company and decided to cancel the contract due to poor service. But, I decided to give you guys another try and Im thankful I did!!! Derrick Tillson was absolutely amazing. He worked hard to ensure my A/C was back up and running. In addition, he took out time to explain the required maintenance on my end and even gave me hints to remember. For example, he said, every month when you pay your power bill, change out your filter. I thought that is GREAT and I will now remember to change my filters. In fact, I went and bought a pack of 4 so I have no excuses. In addition, he introduced me to the MERV rating and explained the importance of this in relation to the function of my filter! Lastly, Im a nurse and he said if I didnt change my filters I would burn out the heart to my AC....yep that caught my attention.

    This is the second time I’ve used Aux. They are super easy to work with and reasonably priced. Both times I called and a technician was sent out same day/next morning for non-emergency issues. The dispatcher called 30-40 minutes in advance with the name of the technician and time of arrival. The technician was very professional. He wore a mask and shoe covers in the house. He checked everything, explained the problem, and gave me a price before performing any work. He had all of the parts needed on his truck. He worked quickly and left the work area cleaner than before he arrived. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this company.

    We developed a clog in our bathroom sink. The only company we ever call is AUX. We know the work will be done correctly and prompt. I called AUX in the morning and they were able to fix the clog that afternoon.     Derrick did an excellent job. He was very thorough, and explained everything that he found. He has performed our service before, and he is always friendly and professional. The special that Aux was running is a great deal. They will be back out in the spring to perform the a/c tune up. They will also drain and flush my hot water heater.

    The only reason I scheduled this service on Friday, 6/19 was because I was told that a technician would arrive in the early morning. Because that did not happen nor did I get a call in the morning with an estimated update on arrival time, as promised twice, it led to me not being able to complete a few very important time sensitive items that day. As I explained I would be leaving the next morning and would only schedule this service call if it was addressed early Friday morning. The ONLY reason I am giving this review 5 stars is because I dont want the onsite technician to suffer because of the lack of responsiveness (or confusion) with scheduling/dispatch. Jason Threadgill was very professional. He took his time to explain what he needed to do and the results after. I think he should be commended for excellent customer service and the reason I would consider future service with this company. Job well done Jason.

    Recently a tree fell on the power lines attached to my grandmothers house ripping them away from her house and causing some minor damage and power outage. I called AUX Home Services and explained to them what had happened and that my grandmother is on an oxygen machine 24/7 and they were very quick to get someone out there even during very busy times (winter storms). They sent out this gentleman named Ronnie and he was just amazing! He was very friendly and professional and treated my grandmother wonderfully, he truly went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of and her power restored.

    My home’s electrical, plumbing, and HVAC are all installed and maintained by AUX. We have used them for years after being dissatisfied with many others. This 56 year-old home has required replacement of systems over the 29 years we’ve lived in it. AUX helps keep things going smoothly, and everything they’ve replaced has functioned well. We also have an issue of high water pressure - 165 instead of 55-60 - which AUX has pretty much resolved. AUX employees are always friendly, professional, and skilled.The only complaint I have is that business has been too good lately , and scheduled visits frequently get rescheduled.

    Our service technician Jason Threadgill did excellent job on our A/C units yesterday. One of our units wasn’t cooling that well and we had AUX come out to inspect our units.     I called Aux Mechanical off of a reference from an acquaintance. To be honest I was a bit desperate and after consulting 4 to 5 different plumbing companies with varying degrees of disappoint; Summer, answered my call for help. She was courteous, kind, eager to know my problem and send help. Due to my working schedule I was unable to make my first appointment, and I called to let Summer know that I was on my way home, but it would be closer to their closing time. Summer let me know that we would probably have to reschedule and I was thankful. We rescheduled and we were unable to meet. Summer went above and beyond. First she apologized and we worked a reschedule and she consulted her supervisor who also accommodated my wife and I for this coming Saturday. A fortunate turn of events enabled me to call and see if I could move the appointment to Thursday instead of Saturday. Again Aux Mechanical and Summer checked the schedule and was able to send an excellent technician to our house to consult on our basement project. James O arrived in excellent time and was both courteous, down-to-earth, and professional. He assessed our situation and gave me a reasonable quote. Once I agreed to the quote he immediately began working on our project!! This was VERY impressive to me because out of 4 to 5 previous plumbers, only 2 actually showed up at my house to assess the situation and out of the 2 plumbers that showed up, only 1 was able to give me a quote!!     Patrick S. came out to perform my annual plumbing inspection which I receive with my preferred service contract with AUX. He was very professional, courteous and made sure any questions I had were answered. During the course of the inspection he discovered the water lines below my kitchen sink did not have shutoff valves. He quoted the job to install the valves and I authorized the repairs. He ran into a problem with the 3/8 PEX tubing that is installed and went above and beyond to run to Lowes to get the correct parts to made sure the job was done right. I really appreciate all of his effort today. He was fun to chat with while doing the work. I wouldnt hesitate to request him for any future plumbing needs I may have in the future.

    Chris P. did a great job for us today. He came out as part of the periodic check of our electrical system. He checked the electrical panel for signs of issues and various electrical outlets throughout the house. He was timely, professional, and courteous. He gave me a quote for some possible work I may want to take care of, without being pushy or trying to oversell--a consistent good theme with AUX Mechanical. He even took care of a loose wiring nut in a ceiling fan and now we have light! Great job Chris, and thanks AUX Mechanical!

    I had a old furnace removed today and a new unit installed by two very knowledgeable, professional technicians. Mr. Chris Blizard and Mr. Ken Barnett took their time to explain how my new unit would operate and how to care for it. Im completely satisfied with the service they provided and highly recommend both of them to anyone thats in needs of a new furnace. I was really impressed with the quick installation time, that allow me to complete my afternoon schedule away from my resident.

    Jeff did a wonderful job fixing the leak in our toilet. I will say that the repair cost was rather high considering the amount of work necessary to be done. I was glad to pay it, since you guys have been so good to us so far, and I have the highest praise for the quality of work performed. But for around an hours worth of labor and such small hardware costs, a wax-ring replacement should cost less.

The only thing was that they gave me a $49 price and told me they would honor a military discount in top of that. The technician was like that is the military discount. I was like no.     Our A/C unit went out on us over the weekend. We contacted AUX and scheduled an appointment for today Monday the 6th 2020. Jason Threadgill was the technician that showed up for our repair.     We received an appliance delivery on Friday afternoon from a different company who had promised to install it. Once there (and already paid online), the delivery people informed us that they were not certified to install gas appliances and could not do anything but unload it and carry away the older but still-working one! After speaking with their customer service department (no help at all!), I still had to get this connected safely and soon, so I called Aux. Despite its being late Friday afternoon, Aux always has someone on call. The dispatcher on duty, Brooke, was extremely helpful and stayed in close contact with me throughout the evening, while her service technicians completed their current jobs. The first one to check in was Adam, and he quickly came to my house. With Adams expertise, the new gas+electric range was set up safely and working perfectly in almost no time at all. He was even careful to wear the protective boot covers at all times while inside my house, and his professionalism was unparalleled in my experience. After a terrible customer service issue from another company threatened to ruin our entire weekend, Aux came in and literally saved the day. I have been calling them for years and encourage everyone else to do so, too, as long as you want to hire a company with terrific service and excellent knowledge!

    The technicians arrived on time and introduced themselves. They were polite and courteous. It was one of the hottest days of the year, but they worked thru a trying situation to make sure we had air. We were very pleased with their work ethics. Don and chris were very good at their jobs. We would highly recommend this company to our friends should they have a need for their services. Unfortunately we have experienced issues with the new unit, have had service people back out twice. The install crew is coimg back tomorrow’s to hopefully rectify our cooling issue.
