I had a deadline to replace one of my smoke detectors which was definitely more than 10 years old before a state inspection and was concerned I may have waited too long, but I called on a Saturday morning and scheduled me for Tuesday. It was perfect. The technician was great, the ultimate professional. I ended up replacing a second one since it was close to 10 years old and he had stock with him, no problem. I will absolutely use them again.

Courtesy, quick, efficient, and informational service from the repairman. I was pleased with the repair. The service call charged was the market price for service calls. However, in my opinion the replacement of a single broken screw in my walk- in -tub door closure mechanism was surprisingly extremely expensive for the amount of time and labor it took to complete the repair. As single senior citizen on a fixed income, that is slowly being decreased by the government, the repair bill was a shock! I did voice this to the repairman. His commented, with a sad face was, I dont set the prices this is the charge I was given. I will really think hard about calling for another service again. It is so very hard to keep up at 80. Everyone is charging u higher prices for basic necessities . I feel like Prey since I became a Senior Citizen, NOW MORE THAN EVER!

My 30 year old AC UNIT blew out May 2024. Had 3 quotes and Weltman representative Chris M came out and walked through multiple scenarios and ways to pay for the total replacement. I had existing duct work but the old unit was shot. My Furnace and HW heater were old so I got a quote for them as well. Chris put me in touch with JCPL and PSEG for rebates and financing. JCPL was just a credit report and 0% financing for 5 years so we went with them to finance the entire job. With it being the summer busy season it took 3 weeks to get on the schedule. The entire job took 2 full days and we now have an AC unit furnace and HW heater. They came on time and everything looked great. I am not crazy about the venting outside to the back of the home but the alternative to vent through the chimney would have warranted another masonry contractor to line the chimney.I would use them again for a plumbing HVAC job again without hesitation.

We recently had a plumbing emergency where our plumbing company for many years were too busy to assist despite our history. Called Weltman in panic and they immediately calmed us down and guaranteed they would be with us by 8pm that day. Despite our annoying calls to confirm they would be here the office support was patient and wonderful. The tech arrived as promised and was amazing. He was friendly polite and professional and became our hero of the day. This company deserves higher that 5 stars, will be our go to for any & all future home services.

It was very easy to navigate the website and make an appointment. I received a prompt call early in the morning to confirm my request for repair and I even got lucky that a repair person would arrive earlier than my requested time. The customer service rep was friendly and informational. The electrician, John, was very nice and knowledgeable about the problem. He offered several ways of fixing it to get me quicker results to restoring my electricity service. He was very patient with me while I had to communicate with my landlord all of the current events and pricing, and John was even helpful to advocate for me with JCPL to expedite my electricity service. John went truly above and beyond. I’m very glad I picked this company to help me. Thank you!

We recently contacted Weltman for an estimate on work needed for our hot water heater. Kevin Garibaj provided a free estimate with clear explanation of all charges and price adjustments where possible. He was extremely knowledgeable and clear in his explanation of how the system works and what/why repairs/parts were needed. He explained how the company billing works and the coverage/guarantee for the work. I was extremely satisfied speaking with Kevin and asking questions. Truly a professional!

Wonderful experience with the electrician, John and his assistant. Living in Morris County we usually use another provider but we had a relatively urgent situation that necessitated us using another vendor, in this case Weltman. From the moment the electricians arrived they were respectful and listened to the issues and recognized the problem right away. We have some challenges with this home being built in the 1940s but they were in and out in 90 mins. Put our minds at ease and did a great job. Definitely recommend using them.

We had a pretty bad leak in our dining room ceiling - Kevin came late at night and stayed for quite some time to ensure everything was taken care of properly. He was extremely professional and showed kindness towards our dog and 2 year old son. We are SO grateful for Kevin’s expertise with our plumbing issues and we look forward to working with him again!

Another great experience with Weltman Svc Call on Sunday for A leak out of my mini split HVAC unit. I admittedly got a technician who is set up a service call for the next day. The sales rep. Andre Also responded to my messages on the Sunday and did an amazing job getting the office to help me. The office staff were amazing. They did a great job setting up exact time to meet a technician. And Christian Came to the rescue to fix the leak. He was very timely and professional. Diagnosed the problem and immediately to fix it. He checked it several times to make sure that the leak was resolved and Explained because and how it was fixed. He also took the time to go through the remote control settings as I had some trouble understanding how to use it. I have to say I’ve been very impressed with the whole team. We certainly recommend them to anyone needing any of the services they offer. This is my first time using Weltman services, and I would certainly reach out for their help in the futureGrace CPrevious post right after install June 2024…The electricians came, and were extremely efficient, punctual, and polite. Joe explained the process and everything that is being done. They did a thorough job and I was very happy with them.Andre our sales rep has been in contact throughout the entire process. We had two technicians come out to our home: Kerry and Kevin. Both of them were wonderful and very qualified. They were able to tell us exactly what was wrong, what needed to be done, and they did it. A little pricey, but it was worth every penny. Hopefully, we will not have to worry for many years to come. My wife and I both were very satisfied.It is now 11:17 PM. Kerry Bruno arrived around 9:00 AM and Kevin Garibaj arrived around 10:00 AM. Kerry was here for about 2-3 hours. Kevin, however, just left about half an hour ago. He was here for almost 12 hours! As I already said, they were both great, but Kevin outdid himself. He outdid all my wildest expectations. He fixed everything! I mean everything! And he did it with finesse and skill that I have seldom seen. He obviously loves what he does, and he loves doing a great job for his customers. Also, I think it says a lot about the Weltman company. You cannot just hire people to do this kind of quality work. This kind of quality has to start at the top. I will recommend your company to one and all, and sing your praises to anyone who will listen. I just met two (no, actually three, Tom was also here for a short while) of your employees. If this is any gauge of the kind of people that you hire and the kind of people that work for you, you are going to be NUMBER ONE for many years to come. Well done, Weltman!!!

The technicians were very good but the cost to replace a gfci receptacle was outrageous. If I would have known the cost, I would have investigated further. To diagnose the problem was $400 before the work was done.

Prompt, excellent, and most importantly, honest service. Before starting any work, Robert gave us a full breakdown of the low end and high end of what might need to be done, including pricing. With no power going to our heater, he could have easily tried to price gouge us, but instead found the simplest and most cost effective solution. He was very knowledgable when queried on future work that well likely be having done.

The guys were respectful of our home, covered hallways they were walking down and cleaned everything up before they left. Also, they dropped me a portable AC unit on a Friday even though they were completing the install on Monday. 5- star service!

These days it seems really hard to find reputable people to do work at/on your home. After doing a lengthy search for a new Heating and Plumbing company, I called Weltman for the first time about two years ago. Our downstairs AC had broken. Weltman had someone out in a timely manner, but also explained everything on the phone prior to that, including the fee to have someone come out, letting me know in case it wasn’t something I could afford, or just so that I wasn’t shocked or unaware. That was $199 (which they ultimately took off after I paid to get the unit fixed). I appreciated that. The tech was friendly and thorough, explaining it all to me and giving options for fixing contributing factors, but not being pushy. They had found our fuse box in the basement was old and maxed out (we had just moved into the house a couple years prior and that wasn’t something the home inspector brought to our attention). So they asked if we wanted an electrician to come out and fix the issue and we got a quote for that as well. By now, they’ve serviced both of our AC units, done electrical work and plumbing work for us over the past two years we’ve been using them. The price is competitive and the work is honorable and trustworthy. That’s hard to find these days, especially as someone who’s had bad experiences with plumbers in the past. I don’t recall having any heating issues YET, but when and if we do—I’ll call Weltman! Definitely recommended.

Work was completed as described.Hot water heater and boiler.Technicians explained all.Scheduling was a bit of a challenge as they needed to cancel twice. Just to note, I requested a change of date and this didnt flow through their system as another person called to cancel (second cancelation) after I already requested the date change. According to the representative ( its all taken care of) but the person that called to cancel did not see my request for the change?Yes I would use them again and have used them in the past. Their techs are thorough.

We worked with Andre specifically on this project and he was absolutely wonderful. Very responsive, attentive, and helpful. While waiting to get our A/C fixed, he hand delivered and installed complimentary AC units for our room and our baby’s room. We also received a call from the Weltman team of a cancellation that moved our appointment up and the team worked the full day till the project was complete. The team that arrived for installation was very professional. My husband and I were happy with the process and final product. So far so good!

My lights in the house started flickering, then the bathroom light on off switch blew completely. The switch was fixed, but the lights inside the house kept flickering, then the power was starting to go in and out intermittently in different areas of the house and becoming very frustrating. Called PSE&G, they came out, checked the outside wires on the side of the house, all was ok. He told me if the lights continue to flicker that I should call an electrician. So I called Weltmen Home Service and scheduled an appointment. Chris the the technician who came out did a diagnostic test and explained in detail the problems that we were experiencing. Showed me the rusted inside the panel box which possibly could be from moisture/ water and he also recommended changing out the panel box because its old and have slightly loose breakers. So I decided to upgrade the panel box which I should have done long time ago. Better safe now then sorry later.

My 30-year-old A/C compressor/furnace died the week when it was 90 degrees. I got estimates from PSE&G and several google 5 stared HVAC companies before calling Weltman for estimate. Chris was my consultant, and he was well knowledge of the PSE&G furnace brand and the pricing they were offering. Chris gave me quick 101 lessons about different types of furnaces and answered all my questions. Chris presented 3 different proposals on a iPad. I didn’t have to wait for an email to get the proposals like the other companies. He was very friendly and offered me a significant discount if I decided that day because they could do the installation the next day. I told him I needed a couple hours to think it over, Chris emailed the proposals and left to give me time to think. I did a review of Weltman offer compared to their competitors. The furnace brand that Weltman offered was one of the top known in the industry, and I grew up knowing it so that made me feel very comfortable. The price was very competitive so that it wasn’t too hard to turn down, and they had the equipment on hand ready to install the next business day. I reviewed and signed the proposal online with Chris and he assisted getting finance with no interest for 60 monthsStanley the installer and his team were awesome! They were thoroughly competent, efficient, neat, and personable. When they were done, they explained the operation of the new systems and answered all my questions.Highly recommend Weltman for you new Furnace/AC install! 10 Stars!

These guys are the real deal. We decided to install a new HVAC and furnace unit as our 21 yo unit broke down unexpectedly. I called them at 10:30P to determine if they have a tech available to come and inspect the unit. Fortunately for us, they sent Eric and another gentleman the following day. These gents determined that we needed a new unit and we felt that was the right decision. They mentioned that an estimator would need to come in to assess the heating/cooling/sizing requirement and provide us a quote. I requested them to start the process asap and they actually scheduled another gentleman -Andre an hour after Eric left. I was pleasantly surprised that Andre was able to accommodate us in his busy schedule. Andre was very polite and a pleasure to talk with--he was patient, showed me all my options, and even installed two portable ACs for us. Andre and I talked about a lot of things and he even helped us obtain financing from JCPL. Andre and Barbara kept us updated of the progress. Weltman also filed for the permit and started the work right after. On the day of installation--three gents showed up--Christian, Rocky, and Martin. All of them were pleasant to work with. They started installation at ~ 8:45 ish and were done by 6:30.These gents did a great job, answered all my questions, and cleaned up after themselves.Weltman now has a lifelong customer in us!

Mike C., Mike B, Kiana, Cesar and Bob (electrician) did a remarkable job. The team arrived and after explaining the process of removal and replacing equipment, it was ready set go from start to finish. From Bob explained the electrical portion, even giving me the heads up that the power had to be briefly turned off, to Mike C. explaining the process of removal and showing me where and why equipment was being placed. While I was impressed each named individual, it was refreshing to see a female (Kiana) as part of the team and watching her do her job as Mike C explained what happened and the steps afterwards. My 25+ year old Trane furnace/AC system finally called it quits, so was researching reputable HVAC companies that served my area and came across Weltman due to the immense number of positive reviews they have on Google. My initial appointment with Andre, comfort consultant, as they call them I think, went surprisingly great. He was very friendly and easy to talk to and non pressuring at all. He didnt try to upsell me on anything my little house didnt need and kept it concise and quick as I had multiple meetings that day. All documentation, including proposal was presented in electronic format via email. But during Andres visit, he was bake to give me a quick overview of the system they recommended for my house and a price point.Once presented with the proposal, you can view every detail of the system and every thing that the technicians will be doing if you accept. You can then sign the proposal online. They offered multiple finance options, some with no interest with longer terms. Barbara from the business office was very patient and worked with me with constant contact until financing was finalized.Stanley came nice and early to get the job started. He was very personable and friendly and detail oriented. He explained things to me as the day passed since I was in and out with work meetings. He even helped to find a power issue to the outside compressor unit beforehand as a cross check to make sure there would be no issues later on with the outside unit getting sufficient power. Thats what thorough is and I appreciate his thorough cross check. His team was too notch also and very attentive and helpful in assisting Stanley with the installation. The 2 of them even went into my 1000 degree attic to help with that power situation. I appreciate their dedication to getting the job done properly and thoroughly.Im thankful for Stanley and his teams efforts and coming across Weltman Home services and their top notch service front to back.

What a great experience! Chris was very informative and I had the estimate (choice of two) before he left the house, unlike another company ( initials C. C.), who never even got back to me. Installation day was without a hitch. Stanley and Mike were on time and were super clean (covering all walkways to the worksite) and super quiet. Until they started drilling you wouldn’t even know they were there. The entire job was done in 8 hours and when they left, you wouldn’t even know they were there. A resounding “job well done “ to everyone (including Barbara who took care of the financial part) at the firm. I’d recommend them in a second.

I always use Weltman for our home repairs their staff is knowledgeable and are not afraid to think outside of the box. Before Weltman we had some plumbing work done by a competitor with the company’s initials of “R R” to make a long story short the repair was done as a “quick band aid” job A pipe down stairs was drilled, whereas the current back up pipe was a quick fix then a plug was put in resulting in a bill of $400.00. Patrick took the time to fix it correctly as you must remember to the houses in this area were built over 50 years ago. Taking that fully into account a current day fix was put in place which I now have full confidence in. Patrick also made me aware of the special financing where for a certain period of time there is no interest. Come on why would you take your home repair somewhere else

5+ stars... We just bought a slightly older home and found several issues needing to be fixed. Due to Weltmans already glowing reviews, I gave them a call. First to come was Henry, who was incredibly helpful in fixing our electrical issues. He was quite thorough, and easy to work with. We arrived the other day to find a nasty leak in our bathroom, so I figured Id try Weltman again. SO GLAD I DID. Jason came over to inspect the leak and did what he could to fix it. He was also very thorough and was incredibly helpful in his explanation of what needed to be done. He kindly offered to do a brief inspection of other items around the house, as he and my husband were talking about our honestly crappy road to getting the house in the first place. I am so grateful for his offer to do this, as Jason found several issues beyond what our original home inspector found, and he was nice enough to explain these issues in depth... what could happen if left unfixed, and what possible next steps could be.We have had to deal with several companies prior to closing to get some items fixed, and it got messy. Weltman as a whole, was not on the list of had to deal with companies. It was really easy to do business with them. I call, I get someone the first time, they send someone quickly, and both individuals go above and beyond, fixing the issues and educating us as to what was done. I could not have asked for a better experience with both the electrical and plumbing sides of the company. Now looking forward to our heating consultation in a few days. I am sure this will be just as easy, educational, and exceedingly helpful.I very highly recommend Weltman-- you wont be disappointed! Brent was superb! Excellent and very knowledgeable employee!2/3/24We had a HUGE bang occur early this morning from our master bath and found that our bathroom sink had fully separated from our marble vanity.Steve spent around 2 hours carefully removing the sink, aged shut off valves, and faucets, but sadly Weltman doesnt reinstall sinks when the vanities are marble. Well get an installer who works with the material.Steve, however, was great! Highly professional, very well trained, and communicative. Wish Weltman worked marble, but very happy with Steves work in the interim.Neil Gray

This was wonderful! I called this morning because my home alarm system which I havent subscribed to for years decided to serenade the neighborhood. I couldnt get it quiet. Having that kind of noise going off so near was practically reducing me to tears. It certainly was making me stutter. I needed it gone immediately. The electrician got to my home in under an hour, gave me a very reasonable estimate, and completely removed the loathsome thing in a very short time. He also noticed another potential danger that I had and gave me a very reasonable estimate on that. He even talked to my brother on the phone who understands these things much better than I do and could translate and keep me calm, when I was already not at my best. It was the best possible experience.

This company is always professional and courteous. I had a problem with my water heater that required the technician to have to return a couple of times. He was polite and courteous each time. He got right to work and didnt finish until the problem was corrected.
