    I called Grounded Electric in the suggestion of a social media friend. I can happily report that all of my interactions with Barrett, owner, and his crew have been nothing short of stellar. They came on time to walk through the house to see what we needed. They sent an estimate and away we went. Grounded Electric is reliable, well priced, honest and communicative.In addition, to being a wonderful electric company, they are a wealth of information. When we needed a plumber GE recommend someone who was as fantastic as they are. I have already sent several friends to GE. My friends have been equally happy with GE. I could not recommend them more wholeheartedly!

    My waste business needed an electrician on a demolition job to disconnect a panel. Kyle from Grounded electric, was very responsive and super helpful.     I had a great experience with Grounded electric. He gave me an estimate over the phone for installing an outlet behind my flatscreen tv. The guys showed up same day and did a fantastic job. They cleaned up the work site and everything works great! The estimate was the same as the cost of the job. I highly recommend them.

    I contracted out Grounded Electric to install an EV charger for my electric vehicle. I had done my research and had purchased the parts needed for the install. I ran the heavy gauge wire myself, along with purchasing the proper breaker for the panel. My panel was full already, but a triplex breaker would allow me to squeeze this in. When I had requested quotes from various electricians, the responses were all over the place.One place refused to come out at all because I ran my own cable and they dont work on other peoples work (rudely might I add). A few didnt respond at all. Other companies tried to upsell me into a bigger panel or a sub-panel. When I questioned why my breaker wouldnt work, one got very defensive and argumentative. I wasnt insinuating anything, I truly just wanted to know why my plan wouldnt work. That same person also man-handled my brand new EV Charger. He opened my brand new, sealed charger (without permission) and proceeded to take the thing a part. I very concerned he was going to either break it with the force he was using or scratch it up with the knife he was using to get it out of the plastic wrap.Speaking with Barret was a breath of fresh air. Not only was he very professional, he was very accommodating as well. He was supposed to come the next morning, but later called to inform me he would be tied up.Instead of rescheduling, he was able to give me a quote when I described to him what I needed done and sending him some pictures. He asked if I was an engineer by the way I was describing everything to him and it sounded to him like I did my homework.On the day of work, his crew showed up and we went through the game plan. They were very professional and their craftsmanship is superb. Im very particular about cable management and how things are done (which is why I ran my own cable), so I can really appreciate how clean and tidy everything is. We tested the charger and everything worked as expected. I couldnt be happier with the service and the work that was completed. Highly, highly recommended

    Once again Grounded Electric exceeded all expectations. We were introduced to Grounded Electric several years ago and without hesitation, I can say it was the best introduction we have ever received! We have used Grounded Electric for all of our electric needs but also their sister company to handle all general contracting needs. They built a theater and bar area in our basement which is absolutely perfect and they recently transformed our backyard into, simply put, an oasis. Start to finish, the team worked with us to fine tune the plan and work within a budget to provide exactly what we wanted to achieve and so much more. Grounded Electric is so incredible, I almost hesitate to recommend them here for fear that they will be too busy for my next project which we are already planning given how happy we are with everything they’ve done to date.     I was having some arcing inside our main panel and needed an electrician to come out ASAP. I called Grounded Electric, they answered the phone right away, took my information, let me know their cost policy and said they would have someone over with 2 hours.Sure enough, in less than 2 hours they were here and found a major issue with a connection in our panel. They explained the issue (and since I had some related background even showed it to me), what they were going to do to fix it, what they would recommend (but not spend time on unless I gave the ok since it was an emergency call) and went ahead and did all the work. They were professional the entire time and were constantly checking and re-checking to make sure that everything was ok.I would definitely, and highly recommend them.

    I contacted Grounded Electric for the first time. They were very pleasant when working with our organization. I spoke to Barret, and he had asked me to email him information about the repairs we had to do for our fire Department Inspection. He was extremely accommodating and reliable. We had to get a switch installed and move the exit sign to be more visible and this was such an easy task for them. We are so appreciative of the help they gave, and they did an amazing job.     We highly, highly recommend Grounded Electric!!! This company was great! We wanted to install spot lights in our kitchen so that it would be brighter. We called on Friday and they were able to come out that Monday which was so impressive. They were at our house on time and did the installation so quickly - they were finished by noon! Everyone was professional and the pricing was very decent. Shout out to Hans and Willie who did a wonderful job! Also, they made sure to keep our house very neat and completely cleaned up after themselves. We will be keeping their number for future projects.

    These guys were absolutely great, I cannot recommend them enough! With basically a weeks notice, they showed up with a big crew and got all the electrical outlets and switches replaced, installed new fans and recess lights in half of the house (with minimum opening up of walls). They did it in under a day. Super professional and very clear outline of all the itemized costs. They were extremely honest as well, explaining when things were not really required (they would have installed it if I wanted, to their benefit, but they didnt).I will definitely will be using them again in the future, extremely recommended!

    Recently had these guys install an EV charger. Went smoothly, did a great job, very responsive (even to my nutty questions about gauge of wire used, etc). Would hire them again in a second. My wife thanks Grounded for making it less likely I will electrocute myself in the future trying to do-it-myself! (Except, there IS that huge insurance policy she just took out on me...hmmmm)

    I left water running in a bathroom sink. It overflowed and cascaded into the kitchen, coming out of a fluorescent light fixture. The light stayed on even when the switch was turned off. The plastic cover held water, possibly electrified. My wife called Grounded, based in the positive reviews. Barrett answered and was here within the hour. He cut wires and removed the ballast. First thing next morning Kyle rewired the light and installed LEDs. It is now brighter than ever. We appreciate and recommend the fast, professional response and courteous friendly service.

    Barret and the team at Grounded Electric are probably the most responsive and professional repair folks Ive had the pleasure to work with. They first came in to repair a faulty GFCI due to bad wiring in the last minute at the end of a business day, which was incredibly appreciated.They came again to follow up on the repair a week later as we noticed some ground hum (a factor of an old house and NOT their repair work), but what really impressed me was the amount of correspondence and care they took in the process - Barrets additional calls and follow up emails prior to the follow up made us feel we were in good hands, and their not leaving until the job was done 100% to satisfaction let us know we were in great hands.Would 100% recommend their services.

    I have used Grounded Electric several times in the past few years. They are very responsive and dedicated. I had a recurring problem of a fuse switching off repeatedly, seemingly at random. They came back 2 or 3 times, at no extra charge the last time, until they figured out the problem was related to an outdoor outlet in my lawn that was disconnected improperly when I had my front steps and walkway replaced. The issue only arose when it rained. Grounded Electric was determined to figure it out, and they did, and resolved the problem immediately. Since then they have replaced some 2-prong outlets with 3-prong ones, and swapped some old florescent ceiling fixtures for modern LED fixtures. They are the nicest young men, very knowledgeable, helpful and considerate.

    Based on a recommendation, I called Grounded Electric to move light switches from one side of a wall to the other. At the same time, we needed to make sure the switches all worked as we exchanged old x-10 switches with new standard switches and dimmers. The Grounded Electric team was extremely responsive with their initial assessment visit and sending us a quote right away. They then scheduled the work within a week and came on time. There was an unforeseen issue with one of our switches/fixtures and they really worked hard to think out of the box to properly assess and resolve the problem and not cause any unnecessary damage to our ceilings. Overall, very professional, clean, thorough. They were also very flexible with their pricing and the extra work and hardware they had to get. Overall very satisfied. Will use them again for sure!

    So happy with the work that the Grounded Electric team did at my house. We had them install high hat lighting in four bedrooms and everything looks PERFECT. Barret and Bobby came in for an estimate and were so great to work with - super nice guys and gave great advice as to what and how we can fix the lighting in my house. They delivered an estimate to me later that day and within a few days after that, we had something scheduled. The team came in for installation - they were extremely professional and took COVID precautions very seriously - wearing show covers, medical grade masks, and washed their hands/hand sanitizer upon entering my home. They worked quickly, were flexible when I changed my work request last minute, and left everything perfect when they left.     These guys are great!! Contacted them on 8/12/2020 regarding the installation of outlets in my garage. They came in on 8/14 to provide an estimate and today 8/17 completed the job. They ran a cable from the main since one outlet will be used by a freezer and they converted a socket that was already in the garage to an outlet so that I can connect my sprinkler controller. They worked clean, very professional and nice people in general. I will definitely be using them for other major jobs as I continue to enhance my home. The work quality is impressive.

    Grounded Electric just installed a generator switch for us today. When we called, they came out quickly and we received a detailed written estimate shortly after that, and scheduling was equally efficient. They arrived when they said they would. The crew took care to minimize the holes they had to cut and fastened the plasterboard back in place.     I wish there were more than 5 stars to rate Grounded Electric, in particular Barrett. I contacted him after Tropical Storm Isaias tore threw our town and brought a tree limb down which ripped the power line from my house to the pole, thus trapping us in the house because the electrical line was draped across our driveway. ln this day and age, it is virtually impossible to find a contractor to respond at all, let alone in the aftermath of a tropical storm, and for a completely new customer, but from the moment I first spoke to Barrett, I knew this was going to be a good experience. He promptly returned my call and fit me in at the end of a long day of attending to his many customers who were without power throughout the county. He assessed the damage, provided a thorough explanation of the overwhelming mess of wires and power lines before me and provided me with a quote to repair. He anticipated our needs in case the damage inside the meter pan was worse than what was visible (since it was locked) by immediately procuring a meter pan and all other supplies needed. He guided me on what I had to to do coordinate with Rockland Electric to unlock the meter pan so he can begin the work. He was in constant contact with me all along the way. He saw the urgency in my situation and worked me into his schedule within 24 hours. He did everything in his power to execute quickly so that we would be back up and running once the power company restored power. His attentiveness to detail, communication, professionalism, execution, and follow up all exceeded my expectations. If you are searching for an electrical contractor, your search should stop here.     These guys were great. I hired them to reconnect power to my detached garage and troubleshoot a flood light. The garage part was easy, once I dug the trench from the house to bury the line for it. The part I appreciate most is that they spent time trying to figure out was wrong with the flood light. Once we settled on the fact that the line to it was stolen for our kitchen during a renovation, they figured out a way to reconnect it without cutting through walls again. Not the perfect solution, but Im happy they thought of it, and Im bringing them back to finish that part.     Had a power issue taking out power to most of a room, they came and troubleshoot the problem. The most important things is they gave me choices and kept me in the loop the entire time and they stand by there work. I won’t call anyone else they have earned my business for good.

    I had an issue while doing some work myself and called the company as I could not figure out the issue. After hearing the problem, he troubleshooted over the phone for free! I never expected electrician to provide free service over the phone. Apparently he was buy and could not come on the day. I guess the problem sounded simple enough and he decided to help me out!
