    It has been my pleasure to use Jarvis Electric 4 times in my 20 years in the area. Each time I have been totally impressed with the professionalism of every member of the Jarvis team.     I called Jarvis Electric about flickering lights throughout my house. Kirk was amazing and identified what they thought the issue was over the phone! He walked me through reporting the issue to Ameren, what to say to get them to come out, and what the next steps would be if the issue wasnt on their end. I had 0 hassle from Ameren and they sent linemen out within an hour! No more issues with my electric and it only cost me a couple phone calls. Thank you so much for your help and kindness, you are awesome! I know who to call again in the future.

    Jarvis Electric completed 6 different projects in our home. Each project was completed to our satisfaction without any complications. The electricians were very professional and took the time to explain the installation process. We are extremely please with the final completion of all 6 projects.     Charles came out and did a full electrical inspection on my 1956 home because I was worried about some dancing lights when certain appliances run. He ensured me everything in my home was running well and nothing was running high amps. He allowed me to read his meter beside him and explained to me what everything meant.     I had an extremely positive experience with Jarvis Electric and am willingly supplying this review. After an extremely worrying sizzling noise came from my electrical panel, I called Jarvis and talked to Kirk, the Operations Manager. Within two minutes, he had dispatched someone to my house. The electrician who arrived a short while later, Clay Westbrook, couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. He patiently and systematically assessed and addressed the issues. He explained things along the way. He was clean, tidy, and respectful. He even laughed at my Dad Jokes. The billing was straightforward and the price was fair. At no time was I made to feel that I was a cash cow to be milked or swindled. As he left, I told Clay I hoped I wouldn’t see him again and that maybe the real treasure was the friends we made along the way. Thanks Jarvis Electric.

    I always rate a business on Would I hire them againThe answer is emphatically YES!Having purchased a new home, there were a few electrical items I needed addressed. I tried to do it myself, but found out quickly I should hire a professional.Communications with Jarvis Electric was simple and they were able to send a man the next day. Though we thought the problem was fixed, it became apparent they would have to look at my problem again.They sent out another man the next day and he was able to find a hidden problem and fixed it.I was shocked to hear that not only would there not be an extra charge for coming out again, they wanted to refund me a portion from the previous bill because all of the issues wasnt caught the first time. I declined the refund, but that gesture gained them a customer for life!Its becoming increasing difficult to find not only reputable companies, but also good customer service - Jarvis Electric is bucking that trend.

    This is a fantastic company to work with. Very professional and quick estimate on a new panel. Didn’t pressure me to upgrade to 200 amp because my house is mostly gas but listed the benefits if I’m going to sell. They got back to me super fast about scheduling considering they have to schedule the work with the power company too. They said they would arrive at 7:00 AM and arrived EXACTLY at 7. Couldn’t ask for harder workers. They had to put in a full 8 hours to get the panel installed and had to come back the next day to do a couple more wiring jobs I requested. They once again came at exactly 7 the next morning. I could not recommend these guys enough.

    Jarvis Electric did an excellent job installing 2 gang meter bases to replace the existing 4 gang meter base. They showed up ahead of time and were done late afternoon. Jared was their team lead and he took the time to explain their process. Cody was Jarvises customer contact rep and he did an awesome job as well. The entire staff and work force were all very professional and reasonably priced. Of course they also pulled the proper permits and ensured everything was coordinated with Ameren to meet the City and National electric codes. Definitely recommend this company!!

    After trying to find a company to fix our electrical problem, we had almost given up. Then someone recommended Jarvis Electric and we gave them a shot.     Had an issue with the outlets under the kitchen sink. My husband spent 4 hours trying to fix it. Called up Jarvis they were able to come out right away. Helped us figure out the issue and corrected it for us.The electrician was very helpful and was awesome to work with.

    I reached out to multiple electricians in the area to get an estimate for putting an outlet in for our pool pump and grounding the pool. Jarvis was the only place that got back to me quickly, other places took over a week to even respond. The rep was very polite and professional on the phone. He answered all my questions and even got us a spot the same day for the estimate.The electricians did exactly what was quoted, showed up on time, and did the work with very minimal impact on my day (I work from home).I truly cant speak to the price compared to anyone else because we needed the work done quickly to be able to swim in our pool this summer and Jarvis was the only place around that could make that happen, so we did not get other estimates. However, I think they did a great job and from my own online estimations the price was fair for the work they had to do. Will definitely use them in the future!

    We hired them to install a CGFI outlet, replace a worn out light switch, and replace a bathroom exhaust fan. While removing the old exhaust fan he found wiring that had been done incorrectly. He redid that wiring too. When he got done everything worked correctly and was done to current code. He did not overcharge. We are very happy with his work.

    It’s not possible to find anything negative about Jarvis electric. They have an excellent rating with BBB. I had an issue with my electricity. I knew in my heart this was going to cost me over $100. I was shocked to realize it was less than $50. Apparently, I had not switch one of the switch in the panel. I know another company would have stated it was a serious issue. Then charged me a ridiculous amount. I wouldn’t of known any better. The honesty the Jarvis company has, is unheard of in this day and age. I would never call anyone else for any further issues. They are professional and very friendly in person or on the phone.     I had another electric company stand me up. Jarvis worked with me, sent Greg out within 30 minutes on the same day I called and had 2 walls flowing with electric within an hour! Greg was so nice, super professional, and explained everything and what couldve caused the outage in the 2 walls as he was fixing them. I am beyond impressed with this company and would highly recommend.

    I cannot recommend Jarvis enough. I had no previous experience with them and was connected with them via Home Advisor. I thought that I had a simple outlet repair issue that tripped a breaker. I called and got an estimate and appointment. The technician was on time and such a nice guy. He made the repairs and replaced the outlets that I thought was the issue. The cost was right in line with the estimate. After the tech left and we thought everything was fixed we smelled something burning. A light fixture that was on the same circuit had overheated and the wires melted. I called them and they sent the tech right back to my house and thankfully we caught it quickly before the house caught fire. The light fixture was the initial problem. I don’t think there was any way the tech could have known it the first time. I greatly appreciate their fast response to fix this serious safety issue. I will use them again and I will recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done.

    Good people to work with, decent price. Took one star back because I wanted a particular configuration on the electrical box being installed. I sent a link to one I found online about a week before the electrician was to come to my house. When he showed - no box. They ordered it after the appointment. Then I was told it would take 2 weeks to arrive. I ordered it online and it got here in 24 hours. They installed it. Overall, I am satisfied, as with any contractor if you have a custom job its going to take a lot of pro-active measures on your part to get it done the way you want it.

    Ive had multiple electricians unable to diagnose a GGCI tripping in a downstairs basement for years. Every winter -the block heater trips it.Will came out this week, was open to discussing preliminary concerns then went further after discussing the risks/posdibilities.He found the GFCI was 20 AMP on a line only meant for 15! He replaced it will a 15 then carefully made an additional outlet safely handling 20 AMP for a heater. His work is so clean I dont even need to do any drywall patching.Thank you Will for likely keeping my house from burning to the ground and thank you Jervais!

    Jarvis Electric did a great job installing our electrical needs for our new pool. The job changed in the middle and the technician called the home office to get an updated quote because he knew it would take less work/cost less. He was right and they lowered our total on the spot. They were great to work with! Fast, efficient and safe. Plus, the outlet they installed looks and works great!
