Mike with Snapper Electric helped get our power back on after lightning struck our home. He coordinated with Union Power to get our meter can replaced and replaced our breaker panel in the process. He provided exemplary service and we will call him in the future for any electrical problems.

We are so happy with Mike and Snapper Electric. I reached out to Mike and he gave me an estimate over the phone, and then a hard quote when he arrived at my home to do my electrical work. He takes small and big jobs. Mike is courteous, kind, communicative, and he is knowledgeable and efficient. He did a terrific job for my home, and I would definitely hire him again for any electrical work at my home. I now have a much brighter and well lit home.

Mike was not only on-time, but early to the appointment! Very responsive by text messages which is the best way to get hold of me. I had a problem with bathroom lights and multiple outlets that stumped me - I tried but couldnt figure it out myself. I expected him to take all morning but within 20 minutes he said I found the problem! and had it fixed!He finished the list of things I had so fast that he let me add other stuff too.I saved the best for last:One reason I had him come in was to replace the very old hardwired smoke detectors in the house. We had just bought the house in June and I had no idea how old they were. He went through the house and thought we replaced them all but just as he was about to finish and leave we found another one that looked relatively new in the basement. He wanted to check it anyway and Im VERY glad he did - it was not wired correctly! The way it was wired, it would NOT set off the other detectors in the house like it should!This is a critical safety issue: the detector is in the basement near the furnace and water heater. If a fire started there in the middle of the night theres NO WAY me or my family wouldve heard that alarm way up in our bedrooms.Thanks to Mike for being professional and thorough, I feel like I can sleep knowing our alarms will work and get us out in event of an emergency.I definitely recommend Snapper Electric and Mike!

I just had Mike stop out to my home to help with a GFI issue where my outside lights were not working. While I was able to trace the issue back to the GFI and replaced the GFI myself, I was not able to completely solve the problem. Within minutes Mike was able to diagnose the issue and complete the job. He offered free advice along with additional services that he could assist with. A job well done and a Happy Customer! He arrived when he said he would, did a very thorough and painstaking testing of the issues I had called him about; he also found things I was not even aware of that needed to be addressed.
