    I cant say enough good things about Justin! I called him with a very hard to diagnose problem that waylaid me in Beaufort on my way home from the Bahamas to RI. My ZF Dock and Go electronic controls for the propulsion on my Jeanneau 50DS were blinking out, intermittently leaving me with no control over the engine, windlass, bow thruster and the engine blower. Justin was very busy but offered to come to the boat in a day or two. Meanwhile, he started immediately trouble shooting with me over the phone. As the problem was intermittent we worked our way through a number of possible causes - wiring looked sound so the first repair attempt was a battery replacement that seemed to do the trick. Great, off we go around Hatteras only to have the system shut down permanently 8 hours later off the coast of MD. Fog set in, the wind died and I chose to get towed to Cape May, NJ. I called Justin and he decided to dig into the ZF schematics which he independently sourced from ZF while I was trying to line up a ZF repair person. Justin continued to trouble shoot and he would not give up until he had helped me fix things. It turns out there was a bundle of control wiring stuffed under the battery shelf where it was exposed to moisture draining from the transom lazzarettes. These wires were hidden with connections that were not waterproof (shame on Jeanneau). I found a burned out connection with detached wiring. Hot wiring them immediately brought the system back up. I let Justin know what I found and he not only proposed the best fix, but included pix of the specific parts I should buy so I would ensure there would be no repeat. Once again I headed off, this time straight from Cape May to Newport (didnt want to take any chances). A week later all is still sound. Oh, I forgot to mention, Justin never asked to be paid - he was concerned and wanted to learn with me and make sure I made it home safely. What a guy!

    Justin installed a new alternator on our sailboat while anchored in Moorehead. Justin is very competent, super nice guy and very resonable priced. I would recomend him to anyone who has electrical or electronic needs. He will get the job done with great skill and quality workmanship.

    Justin is great to work with! He was quick to respond and make the necessary repairs. He was willing to take the time to show and explain everything he was doing and to show me what I would need to do for maintenance.     Justin and Rich provided outstanding service. They reinstalled our masthead instruments and were very creative and diligent on our Skylink system on our sailboat. It wasn’t an easy installation but they worked to make it happen. We will use them again when we are in town and the need arises.

    We had numerous other companies come by to help fix the electrical nightmare we inherited with our boat. When we met Justin, we knew he would treat us right. He is meticulous with his work, patient with all your questions and affordable. Sorry it took so long to write a review, but at least now I can say his work was perfect. We are now in the South Pacific and everything he did for us is working perfectly. He is the only person I will ever call with electrical marine needs. He is also a wealth of knowledge on anything marine, but dont tell him I told you that. Seriosuly though, thanks Justin.

    I came to Justin with an autopilot and shorepower system update on a tight timeline. He delivered as promised, wouldn’t cut corners at the expense of quality. He owned anything that came up short and put in extra time to work through unforeseen complications. He also takes the time to go through the logic and implications of decisions in a project. When work was delegated to subordinates Justin held them to high standards. So glad i worked with him!

    My posting was interrupted,describing my experience with Justin,very professional and in tune with owners needs and expectations,he rewired my Cape Dory 30 that was having a great deal of problems mostly due to old age (1987) as well the usual prior owners additions etc.The final product is a panel that looks like the pictures seen in Nigel Caldel book,All properly routed,very clean and tied up to prevent chafe and or major problems.I met him after two prior contractors that cost me a great deal of money and less than satisfactory results.I am an experienced boat owner that have done my own work all of my life,this is the first time have to delegate and could not been more pleased.Good Job Justin

    They were before quoted time. A thorough inspection was done before a switch was turned. They found the problem addressed it and gave me a solution. Having been in the marine business for years before retirement I was fairly familiar with what the cost of quality craftsmanship would be. Ive also known burning hours!     I contacted them looking for two batteries. When I told Justin I was anchored in Taylor creek, he offered to deliver the batteries to a local dock so I pick them up with my dinghy. That was service I wasn’t expecting but appreciated very much. To my surprise the price of the batteries were very competitive.I highly recommend this business!

    Justin and his team at Beaufort Marine are incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and fair on pricing. We were outfitting our sailboat for a circumnavigation and we had them redo our entire electrical system and panel. Additionally, I was working with a lithium battery bank and they were able to accommodate and we were able to problem solve together. Justin was able to make recommendations, as a fellow sailor, that made sense and worked specifically for the application. On top of the quality of work that they did it was also done to look EXTREMELY professional. Since having the work done, we have swamped our boat in a proper squall and even with a foot of water inside, all of the electrical stood to the test. Use these guys for your electrical needs as I will certainly do in the future if given the opportunity!

    I was crew on sailboat delivery on east coast. Justin was recommended to the Captain by the Dock Master to sort out electrical gremlins. He systematically isolated each component of the complex system - starter battery, house bank, solar, wind generator, diesel generator, main engine alternator. It was a frustrating process on an old boat with previous owners screwball wiring layout. Most would have given up. Root cause was identified and we were on our way. Very professional. Would recommend.

    I have called Beaufort Marine Electrical Services several times in recent months. Although there have been a couple of minor electrical issues on my 1969 Hatteras, I have reached out to Justin to help me design and integrate new electrical components and systems into my 50 year old systems. Justin’s knowledge of aged systems and new systems is the primary reason I have chosen him to design, repair, or replace the electrical systems on my boat. The integration of solar, shore power, generator power, safely and efficiently is his specialty. Beaufort Marine Electrical is what it says on the back of the business card, honest professional, reliable, and guaranteed!     We were introduced to Beaufort Marine Electrical Services while we were on the hard at Bock Marine and having issues with one of our instruments. Justin did a quick check and confirmed what we thought...it was time for an upgrade that we could do ourselves. How often does that happen? We rewarded his professionalism and honesty by hiring him again to install our new Furuno radar. He is reliable, on-time, courteous and the guy knows his stuff. Highly recommend.

    Justin is the man! He installed a whole new electrica suite on our beneteau 461. We had been struggling with every piece of our old system and it had been a nightmare. Justin helped recommend what fit our budget and cruising needs. He finished the project the same week we had him come by and we havent had a single issues. I highly recommend Justin!
