We had Sims come out to fix the mess that another company left us. Not only did they get out here quickly, they saved us $1100 and were done in less than 2 hours for a job that the other company kept insisting would take at least 2 days. The electrician was friendly, knowledgeable, and very efficient. They are our new go-to for all our Electrical and HVAC needs. Thank you so much for your amazing service

Where do I begin? Sims has saved the day again! We were quoted $1300 to installa celing fan that we already purchased by a competitor and told it would take 1-2 days of work with 3 people! Amos with Sims came out and in less than 5 minutes he had a plan of action on how to fix it! It took him less than an hour and a half of work to install it and fix the competitors mess! Olivia at the office works hard to find availability and to get the best electritians out to do the job and is polite, professional and knows how to treat people! We will use these guys again!

Sims electric provided us outstanding service for my elderly parents who were without power after a recent storm. Their helpful service dispatcher and the electrician, Nate, were at the house within 30 minutes of calling and had the storm damage repaired and the power on very quickly. It was outstanding service. In light of all the power outages weve had with storms as of late, we decided to get a generator interlock kit installed on our panel, as well as an 30A inlet box. This was a much cheaper option vs a manual transfer box. It took a little longer than hoped to be contacted to set up a date of install, but I later found out it was because they were still waiting on Consumers to give them a day/time. I was pleasantly surprised, when I expected to get it installed in September, to get a call saying they could do the work a month earlier due to an opening.Both electricians showed up early, were professional, and knowledgeable. The new inlet had a slight issue where it kept tripping the breaker on my generator, but was quickly resolved. I would definitely recommend them and will seek them out for future work. As far as prices, I felt they were reasonable and they priced about the same as another local company.

Today, Amos, a delightful young man was at my house correcting an electrical concern. He was polite, engaging, courteous, and went out of his way to correct the problem. In addition, he noticed a serious problem with our kitchen ceiling which hadnt been noticed by us. I will not hesitate to call Sims in the future! Amos provided wonderful customer service!

I am most appreciative to Sims Electric for their prompt service during the power outage. When my generator quit working, I called and explained to Beth what was going on. She was able to relay that information to the tech so he was prepared when he came out. That is the very reason I use Sims Electric for personal and business. They take care of their customers. On time. Friendly/courteous, true professionals. Had my new garage wired quickly and I was afraid theyd have difficulty due to some barriers as a result of the way my home is built. I didnt have one light fixture for the outside and they returned to wire that in, once I got the fixture. Would hire again.

Sims Electric is the ONLY company that I will allow to do electric or HVAC work in my home. I have used Sims electric for over nine years to replace my electric panels, upgrade my electric service, replace my home heating and air conditioning systems, and install a whole house generator. Sims has always been reliable and stood by every aspect of their work. As a customer who has worked to make my familys house our home and who takes a great deal of pride in the home improvements my family has made over the years - Sims has never disappointed and is highly recommended. Any concern that I did have during an installation was quickly resolved. Sims stands by their word and is the only electrical and HVAC company for me as long as I reside in Battle Creek.

They were fantastic. My furnace died during the coldest week we have had in months. Sims Electric was able to come out quickly for a diagnostic test and to inform me that I needed a new furnace.They installed a new one the next day. The entire crew was professional and courteous. I had one small issue with the thermostat that was installed and they sent someone right back out to correct it.The level of customer service I received from the installers (Mark and Justin) to the office (Beth) was above and beyond. They really know how to take care of their customers.Based on my experience - I highly recommend Sims.

We recently had Sims Electric install a new furnace in our home. Mark came right out and serviced our existing one when it shut down and helped us choose a new model that fit our needs. It was a great choice! Installers Greg and Ridge were courteous and conscientious and did a beautiful job. Beth and Olivia in the office were very helpful and kind. You always remember when people show up to help in an emergency situation.. I had a tree fall on my house and they showed up to fix a damaged electrical box and broken mast, the response from the receptionist (Olivia) was above and beyond, the crew (Brandon and Jackson) had everything replaced and safe to have electricity hooked back up to my house withing a few short hours of calling. The finished work looked great, cost of everything was very reasonable and the documentation for insurance was sent out next day. Would absolutely recommend them.

Sims electric has done a lot of work on my home. I live in Grand Rapids but had to have Sims do the work for me even though they are 50 miles away after I was referred to them by someone close to me. Couldn’t have asked for a better price. They have installed a whole new electrical panel, can lights, under counter lights, all new outlets and switches, exterior lights, set up my smart thermostat, and put in a new hot water heater for me. They were at my house a lot. Even the owner showed up to pitch in. I couldn’t believe the great deal Sims gave me!

Always on time when needed or call right away if emergency/after hours. Guys very knowledgeable mechanically. Always clean/use foot booties or take shoes off in house. Workers have always been very personable and conversant about job and go extra mile to explain problem and solution. Always welcome back to work at our house. Need more like these guys!! Past year jobs: installed WiFi thermostat, annual furnace maint-cleaned, thermocouple replaced; installed new AC unit and installed GENERAC. House is brand new for HVAC and light fixtures and they did it all.
