Gene (owner of Firehouse Electrical) was recommended to me by a coworker to fix an electrical issue in my house. He was incredibly responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. My smoke detectors were having problems so it was particularly helpful too that not only is Gene an electrician, but also a firefighter. Although he is based in Marietta, he works all over Atlanta. He fixed my issue quickly and was very fair about pricing. Would highly recommend to anyone!

The power line to my house in Marietta was knocked down during the snowstorm. I put out a request to the Marietta Residents Facebook group and several people recommended Gene Helton, who also responded to my post. He was available to come there the next day so I was very happy! He assessed the job, purchased the materials he would need and went to work. He informed me that the city would require the service to be brought up to code (this house is 95 years old!) and he also replaced the deteriorating line into the basement. In a situation where many electricians could have taken advantage of so many people without power, I felt that Gene’s price was more than fair. He was prompt, friendly, very professional and very clear about explaining what the city would require and what he would be doing. I will definitely use his services again and highly recommend him and his company, Firehouse Electrical!
