    Generac 26KW, natural gas. I got 3 different bids for the job, making sure that they were all for the same products. Generator Authority was the closest dealer to me and also came in with the best bid. The install went well with them taking care of all permits, trenching, and city notifications. I had a unique install as the unit had to set on the opposite side of the house from the electrical meter and panel. They ran the wiring through the attic and to the meter panel and into my central panel without having to cut open any walls, thus requiring new drywall, texture and painting. Communication with the company was top notch. Overall, Id recommend them and use them again. Were now ready for those power outages.

Wes (the owner) came out to look at my property & make recommendations within a couple of days or so from my request, provided a quick turnaround on the quote which offered a better price & a longer warranty period than the competition. The process of getting financing approval through Synchrony Banks Generac Credit Card was very easy. Field personnel were courteous, & during installation took the time to explain when & how long the power would be out, minimized the outage time, briefly described how the transfer switch, surge protectors & emergency generator work, discussed maintenance requirements, & helped to set up the monitoring app on my smartphone. I highly recommend this company to those who are considering an emergency generator for their home.

    We are very impressed with the quality of the Generac product....it is well engineered, made with quality materials, and its technology allows it to function automatically in the event theres a loss of power. We look on our investment in this product as an insurance policy.The on site technical staff installing the Generac was very competent....we did have some initial problems communicating with the Generator Authority office, but that was quickly resolved when one of the staff (Cindy) was assigned to facilitate a smooth operation.All in all, very satisfactory....would recommend it to anyone interested in obtaining protection against power outages .

    This is a great company! I used them when my Generac failed to start. After doing the basic troubleshooting myself, I found them online. Quick description of my problem and they sent someone that day. The technician arrived on time, was professional, and got the job done.     From the time the sales person came to see me and discuss my options. I knew that this is the company I was going to go with the sales person was very personable and explained everything so much better than any other company explained all the details and how the process would go, that also being said the office personnel had great communication with not only scheduling but very easy to pay my deposit and my balance. Once the job is done I have purchased their gold plan preventive maintenance and would highly recommend using this company if you are looking to get a back up generator. PS my install crew was also wonderful very friendly and again they discussed and explain the whole process and also show me how to use my generator. Wanted to give them a good review also

    I met with Rey and he was a straight shooter. He gave me all the information that I needed to make a good decision. I bid the job to a few other companies and clarified a few items with Rey during the bid process. His proposal was clear and explanations were always clear. I ultimately made the decision to go with Generator Authority and they exceeded my expectations. They did the job turnkey, including extending my gas main to the generator location where other companies wanted me to hire a third party and handle that portion myself. They handled the permitting and inspections through to sign-off. All of their employees were professional, knowledgeable and super friendly. The front and side panel got scratched unloading the unit from the truck and they ordered and installed new ones for me without me having to ask them to do so.The bottom line is that they said what they would do, they did what they said, and they did it professionally. I am 100% satisfied.

    I just signed up for a service contract. But thus far they have done everything they said they would do. The service technician showed up on time, he was polite and professional, and didnt mind answering questions. The office staff so far has been very helpful.     Great people to deal with. The day after installation, I called in a problem with my hot water heater which the team restarted after the install. Josh came out and identified a problem (bad thermocouple) that was not related to the generator installation. He went to Home Depot and bought the part and installed it. That earned Generator Authority a sixth star in my mind.

    Please read. We recently had GA install a whole house generator for us. We are beyond pleased with the entire process. The reason why we chose GA was because its a family owned business. Secondly, they do not sub out any work. All work done is with their own team. Finally, they are extremely competitive on their pricing.     I love my Generac & the people at Generator Authority are the absolute best! Have had my unit for 1 year & their service & care for their customers is impeccable. Live in the country so we have fairly frequent loss of electricity but within 1 minute (or less) my generator kicks on & everything in my home is running again. Im on oxygen 24/7 so having the generator is a necessity but would have it even if I didnt need it. The people, service & equipment they sell & service is truly top of the line & I highly recommend Generator Authority if youre looking for a generator for your home.

    Had Generator Authority install a whole house generator for my home in the Fort Worth area of Texas. They (father and son team) were very helpful in assisting in the selection of the best generator for my needs. The installation was quick and professional (another great father and son team installed). The true test was recent - thunderstorm knocked out the utility power for 8 hours and the generator kicked in as planned and ran the whole time. My wife and I were watching the storm and when the power died, my wife said she heard me counting one-one thousand, two-one thousand... as the generator turned on in three seconds as it was designed to do. I was actually excited the power went out and we had uninterrupted power the whole time. Thanks for the great advice, service and product.

I started this process last July and received my install here the end of March first of April. The install has been seamless.     Overall we were very pleased with the team at The Generator Authority. The only thing that was an issue was the very long wait for delivery of our Generac Corporation supplied generator which was out of the local installation companys control.     All of the crews that came to work were professional, knowledgeable and extremely courteous. The electricians, plumbers, trenchers and start up technicians were efficient and helpful with questions and concerns and tidy in their work.The generator and transfer switch run and operate perfectly. As recommended by the plumber, the gas meter was replaced by Atmos to ensure adequate gas for the generator and the whole house when needed.There was a long lead time, however this was a result of high demand and supply issues in this industry and not directly controllable by Generator Authority.The communication during the lead time was sparse. More status updates would have been appreciated, especially as the time extended far past expectations.The communication in the lead up to and during the install process was not as timely as I would have hoped. Several times I had to initiate the communication in order to keep informed.Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and utility of the generator and installation. The communication issues were undoubtedly related to the high demand for generators in the area and resulting work load. Hopefully constructive comments, as these are intended to be, will help to improve in this area.

    All of the crews were professional, experienced and courteous. The trial start-up was flawless and everything worked perfectly. I went with the 24KW unit and hooked it up to run the entire house. I have three air-conditioning units, but we added two monitors to prioritize their use. When we have an outage now, we do not have to do anything. Everything is automatic and should work exactly as intended. I highly recommend using Generator Authority. They know the Generac product extremely well.

    Although the wait seemed long from ordering to installation I understand the demand for generators was huge, so know I got mine as soon as it was available. The whole experience was great! The men who came to do the electrical found some wiring in my panel that was really dangerous & could have easily burned my house down so Ill always be grateful for the thorough job they did in checking that everything was wired right & would interface with my generator with no problems. My house is all electric so I had to have a propane tank installed before they could install the generator, but even then they worked with me to be sure all was ready and right. The man who came to do the final hook up & start up was very thorough explaining to me (& thankfully my son who came for hook up day) just what would happen, when the power went off. In early Dec. our power was off for about 3 hrs. & my generator kicked in within a few seconds & ran until power was restored -- just like they said it would. Im on oxygen all the time, so this was super good for me. I couldnt be happier with my Generac and the people who did each step of the installation. Highly recommend the whole company.

    Outstanding service. Had my generator ordered and installed in less than 90 days. Recommend Generator Authority without reservations. Price was less than what I researched and that was a solid month before I acted. Generator Authority will come to your location give you a quote, do the install, and do the service all in one company. Most of the other companies out there have installs completed by someone other than the company servicing the generator. During the bad freeze Generator Authority was on duty and ready to service you if needed. Generac can be remotely serviced by a technician and has very easy step to reset yourself if needed without a tech making your location. They will show you. The quote is free. You can not go wrong by having Wes Johnson come to your location and give you a free quote. He will explain everything.

They came and mapped out where the generator would go, told me exactly the steps that would be needed to accomplish installation, came and installed a new electric box and the generator in one day, and then had all the relevant inspections. During the appointment Wes described the complete generator installation process and explained fully the steps which I was not familiar.     I just recently had Generator Authority in Azle, Tx complete installation and start-up on a Generac 24kw system. Yes, I had to wait several months for the supply system to produce the generator, but don’t know of any other systems not experiencing the same supply problem. My experience with the company has been friendly and “top notch” in every way. The owner gave me a personal tour of their new operations area. The office manager always explained what my current status was. The crew was courteous, professional, and very experienced. Installation took one day. The start-up person was knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. I feel ready for outage situations should they occur. Very pleased.     Generator experts with the skill & will to do it rightI chose Generator Authority because I wanted turnkey service from generator experts, a company with generators as their core business, not a sideline. I did not want to be the one coordinating all the moving parts. I wanted the benefit of their experience and expertise. I also wanted a company that was small enough that the owner would care about my job, and intervene to prevent or fix any problems that might crop up. I didn’t want to be lost in the shuffle.As it turns out, I was very glad I chose Generator Authority, because their expertise and focus were indeed needed. They had to intervene on several issues which were not their fault (for example, a propane tank shortage, and new propane company owners who were no longer interested in backup generator customers). Their good relationship with Generac helped get a replacement board quickly at no cost when the original was faulty. They also managed to get an excellent electrician quickly when the electrical work turned out to be more complex than anticipated, fixing an old panel that was not up to current code.I knew when I signed the contract with Generator Authority that it would be months before Generac would have a generator for me. Unprecedented demand had created a backlog and Generac couldn’t churn them out fast enough. So I was prepared to be patient, as long as I eventually got a quality job. I appreciate that Generator Authority was honest with me and did not make promises they couldn’t keep.With demand so high, their business is experiencing some growing pains as volume has ramped up, and it’s good to see that they are taking appropriate and intelligent steps to handle the growth. For example, they hired a very seasoned operations manager who is streamlining processes and enhancing project tracking software.I’m glad I chose Generator Authority because they had the skill and the will to work through the issues that arose, to make sure I had a successful generator installation.

Although Generator Authoritys bid was a bit more than the other, we decided to go with them. We chose Generator Authority because they are an established family owned generator business, the fact that they do not use any sub-contractors during the install or service and that they were very responsive to our needs. Where as the other bid from an electrical company. They were slow to respond to our request for a bid, which gave me the impression that their service, if needed, was not going to be very good. Also, I didnt like that they were going sub contract out the gas hookup work and that generator installation was not their only business. Our install went very well and was completed in just 1 day. We also purchased Generator Authoritys service and monitoring plan to protect our investment. Now our generator is monitored 24/7 via wifi and Generator Authoritys own service personnel will come out annual to inspect and service the unit and replace the battery every three years.Generator Authority was very easy to work with and very responsive to any questions we had before and during the install. I would highly recommend Generator Authority if you are looking for a home generator system.

    While we have not had a power outage since the installation was completed, we live in Lewisville Texas so we know there are outages in our future. We are confident now that we are prepared for outages when they come.Now for a little bit of information on the Generator Authority folks over in Azle, Texas. From the time that I called them they were on top of this. They connected us to Natural Gas as primary fuel and Propane Gas as our secondary fuel. Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE, from Generac on to all other installer companies told me that connecting to Natural Gas and Propane Gas as secondary could not be done. The folks at Generator Authority explained to me that this was indeed possible, but explained in detail how it would work.Proof is in the pudding isnt it? Even the City Inspector here in Lewisville Texas was impressed with our installation team.I know these guys and gals know what they are doing and they are willing to bend over backwards to prove it to their customers and to the Inspectors, no matter how difficult the Permit team of the city wants to be.If you want to have a generac home generator system installed or if you know of anyone that is considering having a generator system installed in their home, Please give these folks a call.
