Discuss exactly what was going to be needed and gave me step-by-step instructions of what to expect since this was my first time having a roof redone going through my insurance company. After extensive research comparing several roofing companies, we chose Kidd Roofing to replace the roof on our home. Outside of Kidds reputation and track record and price, we were especially impressed by the customer service provided by Jacob Kush. Jacob truly went above and beyond and would always respond to our needs in a timely fashion. He was the primary influence in having our claim in full by meeting with the adjuster on site. Kidds crew completed the job in a day and a half. The crew showed up on time, were friendly and completely cleaned the site before leaving. We are pleased with the results and would highly recommend working with Jacob at Kidd Roofing for your roof needs.

Want an honest review? Here goesI have never had a roof replaced so was unaware of how noisy and messy the process is. It is a lot for sure. Though it is fairly quick, you will be living with a tremendous amount of commotion and mess for about a day and cant park in your garage or driveway during that time if you normally do that (do yourself a favor and book a spa day and just let them do their thing while you are gone - wish I had). Also, there is a lot of vibration and I did have a few things fall in the house so if you have anything special that is fragile on the walls, you should take it down. I only had it happen upstairs. They did communicate both of these things in the contract I signed, I just failed to act on taking things down.Overall, I had a great experience all of the way through with Kidd Roofing. I worked with Matt Boyle. I cant say enough about Matt. He was prompt, communicative, always available to me, answered so many questions, and was super helpful with insurance. Most importantly, I 100% trust him. My claim ended up getting denied but he worked really hard to help me and explain the whole insurance claim and appeal process to me. We went back and forth with insurance for about 4 months and during that time I did not sign a contract with them yet he still continued to help me.The workers were quick and did a great job of cleaning up at the end. After seeing the mess I was shocked at how well they cleaned up to be honest. They moved a bunch of things away from the house and put everything back when they finished. I did find a few nails. Though they do a magnetic sweep of the yard, this is expected so make sure you walk your driveway and yard as well.If you need repairs or think you might need a new roof, call Matt. He will give you an honest assessment and help you through the process.

Im on the board for an HOA here in Austin and we needed a re-roof and new gutters on all nine buildings. We collected three bids and ended up going with Kidd Roofing. We are so happy that we hired this company and fortunate to have Joshua Reed as the project manager for Kidd. Even before we hired Kidd, Joshua answered so many questions and he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We were so impressed with his professionalism, attention to detail, and communication skills that we hired Kidd for the project. I have to give Joshua extra credit because we also had a siding project going on and he coordinated everything with the other contractor. Im sure it was a lot of extra work for Joshua but he managed to make everything so smooth and easy from the beginning of the project to the end. I also was amazed at how quickly his team tore off the old roof without any mess and had the new roof on in a week. The place was left spotless, the job was perfection, and their pricing was fair and reasonable. No extra surprises!! Joshua was on top of everything! I would give this company 100 stars if I could.

First off I don’t normally write reviews. Everyone wants one these days. It’s gotten out of control, but I had to write a review for this. I got estimates from five roofing companies, narrowed it down to two, then decided to go with Joshua Reed and Kidd Roofing. I’m so glad I did. Joshua was very knowledgeable and professional. He stayed on top of the job to make sure everything went smoothly. They did exactly what they promised to do. They took great care to protect our property and pool from any debris, and did a wonderful job of clean up. I’m very particular & they were happy to fix one little thing I had with the gutters. No questions asked. They didn’t ask for any payment until I was completely satisfied. It’s so refreshing to find a company that actually takes care of its customers. Joshua cared not only about the roof, but also about us as a family. I had never met this man before, but now I consider him a friend. The roof looks amazing. My neighbor even commented on how nice it looks. I would give more stars if possible. I’m proud to tell him & anyone else that we used Kidd Roofing. Ask for Joshua. He’ll take care of you.

Kidd Roofing replaced our metal roof about two years ago. Part of the work included replacing a weather vane on top of a cupola. Recently I noticed the weather vane leaning and asked Kidd if they could straighten it out for us (it a very steep roof-not something I could do). Hector was kind enough to find one of his teams working in the area to take care of it. Thank you, Hector! Without a doubt, they are the best roofing company in the business!

I highly recommend Kidd Roofing for roof repairs.I had a porch aluminum panel roof (26 x 12) that leaked and I also had a piece of roof fascia that had been torn loose by a wind storm. I contacted Kidd Roofing after 4 other roofing companies either never responded or just ghosted me.Matt came by and viewed what need to be done and got me a proposal the next week. After my response, he formalized the proposal and we signed off on it.Juan Ramirez (foreman) and 3 other workers came out and installed TPO over the porch roof, installed good flashing up under my steel roof and replaced the damaged fascia. Juan later came by and verified the repairs, touching up a couple of areas.The guys did a very good cleanup (unusual with most contractors) and I was very pleased with their work. I will write an update to this once we get a good rain and confirm all leaks are fixed.Matt did a good job with communicating throughout the process and Juan was great, definitely knowing his stuff.

We recently had a few shingles blow off our roof with some high wind…called into Kidd Roofing and was connected with Matt and he very quickly came to check out the roof, got us a quote and quick summary of what needed to be done and once we agreed made quick work of the repairs we needed. What I appreciated most about Matt was his communication and calling me to prepare for the repairs, update me on the repair, and then make sure I knew what to expect when it came to finishing the process. Earlier this year I had a roof leak and could not get a roofer to show up. One of the roofers gave my contact info to Matt at Kidd and he contacted me promptly, showed up when he said he would, and indicated that he saw evidence of hail damage and suggested I get an inspection. I felt a little silly because my roof was 17 years old, but it ended up working out. Matt was an excellent communicator throughout the entire process and the crew did an outstanding job installing our roof. And they probably did the best cleanup job of any subcontractor weve had work on our house. Hes been super helpful with my neighbors as well. I really appreciated having a reputable company walk me through the insurance process over a fly by night hail chaser. Im really happy with the way the roof turned out and would gladly do business with Kidd again.

I just had a roof replacement with Kidd Roofing and can’t say enough good things. That was entirely due to the service provided by the project manager, Joshua Reed. His service was differentiated from the very beginning when he came to inspect the roof. We had a leak in our roof from one of the winter storms. I had other roofing companies come out to provide a quote but Josh was the only one to get in the attic and see the damage. I could tell by the way he explained things that he was very knowledgeable and it was definitely a different experience with him versus other roofers. Initially we were hoping to just repair the damage rather than get an entirely new roof, but Josh was transparent up front that due to the age of the roof and the amount of damage, it likely wouldn’t even be possible. The other roofing companies told me it could be fixed, but I have a feeling things would have changed once they started doing the work and would have resulted In change orders and change in scope. At least I could make an informed decision with the information and transparency Josh provided from the very beginning. In the end, he was right, the roof was incredibly old and it was time to replace and I’m so glad we did with Kidd Roofing. I also want to note that Josh continued to keep in touch throughout the entire process, and even came to the house to inspect the work. He definitely set the standard in professionalism and customer service during this process and I really appreciate someone that takes their job seriously and goes above and beyond to provide good service.Lastly, the quote provided was incredibly competitive and there were no hidden fees or surprises.I highly recommend working with this company and requesting to work with Joshua Reed!

In the process of getting our house ready to list, we approached Kidd Roofing to give us a quote for a roof replacement. They worked with us on the best way to get our roof replaced including assisting us immensely with us being able to receive a new roof because of previous hail damage. Unfortunately the insurance adjuster didnt work with us, but Kidd Roofing did all that they could to get us the most value for our money. Now our roof and chimney are brand new and we couldnt be any happier! I would hire them again in a heartbeat to do any roof work I could ever need in the future!

We interacted with Brad Hale, who was on sales side of the process. Brad inspected roof, answered questions, showed materials that will be used and explained warranty terms. We were impressed by Brads knowledge of roofing business - from codes to materials and quality metrics. He communicated the date when actual work would start, oversaw whole process, inspected replaced roof and even went few extra times around the property to remove overlooked debris and old nails.Kidd Roofing replaced our damaged gutters as well after roof replacement.Truly exceptional job, in my opinion!

Had a garage roof repaired & replaced by Kidd Roofing after meeting 3 other roofers I didnt feel confident about. A friend gave me Matts number with Kidd and he came out, took a look and talked with me in person about job details, ballpark estimate, and timing. He knows his stuff and has a crew capable of carpentry repair as well. I needed a section of soffit replaced, rafter sistering, and one piece of decking replaced (all very minor stuff) and other roofers wanted to charge ridiculous prices for it or have me find someone else to do it. Working with Matt was great and so was the crew who came out. They did the job in one day, cleaned up well, and left me the rest of the paint they had matched to my exterior for the new soffit segment. Very satisfied and highly recommend Matt who came by the day after the job was completed to make sure I was happy with everything and double-check for any scraps of trash.

We had an excellent experience with Kidd Roofing. We had a hail storm back in June and so I asked a good friend who is a local design/build contractor for a roofing company referral. He pointed me towards Kidd Roofing who he uses for many of his projects. He said they were solid. He was right. I called them and they got me on the schedule right away for an inspection. Our project manager at Kidd was Joshua Reed. Joshua was punctual, courteous, and very professional. He communicated clearly and often, and the project went exactly as he said it would. As a former real estate inspector and contractor myself, I am very picky about who I let work on my home. Joshua made the process a breeze, knew what he was talking about, and had no problem contacting my insurance company on any discrepancies or items that their adjuster missed. His crew was efficient and fast, and the work quality was superior. When the job was finished I inspected the roof myself and I can say that every single thing was done to spec. This is a rare thing. Kidd Roofing did our roof in 2021 and the service from sales to install was top notch. Upon notifying them last week of a potential leak Matt Boyles (Project Mgr) tried to come out the same day but we were unavailable. So when he offered to come first thing the very next morning we took him up on it. Matt was on time and professional. After getting on the roof he did not see any damage that would have caused the leak. So he went into the attic and crawled through to the affected area upon which he found a broken vent pipe. Clearly this was not Kidd Roofings fault. He also found an area on the roof vents that he felt was a bit to far open to so he immediately grabbed some of our save left over shingles and patched up a 1 inch gap where to much sun light was coming through. Weve never had an issue with water coming in from that area but the gap was more than Matt liked so he fixed it right up! Talk about going above and beyond!!!!

His experience felt legit, the specs looked like quality materials and the cost was fair (we also looked into three other companies), so we went ahead. We recently had a complete roof replacement done by Kidd Roofing. A small project in size, Josh Wright (project manager) and his crew provided excellent service from start to finish involving the complete roof replacement of our mid 1930s Tudor Revival stone cottage. Josh showed genuine interest in the project, and even drove by Park Boulevard in Hyde Park to see examples of such homes homes and roofing materials, tracking down the manufacturer of the special order shingles we chose. Good communication skills, attention to detail and prompt response when issues came up were great and extremely helpful, since we had to coordinate two other separate projects connected to the roof installation. I contacted Kidd Roofing due to a severe ventilation problem in my attic. Years prior to my move-in, the builder of my home had the soffit vents sealed off from the front to the back of my home. Heavily sealed on the side where the A/C plenum was located. Next to the plenum is my gas hot water heater (only 4 years old). With rising temperatures these past summers it was causing the pilot light to shut off. Therefore, I had to resort to leaving the attic door open for air flow during extremely hot days (it helped sometimes). I received suggestions to get solar fans and/or whirlybirds. My plumber who installed the hot water heater suggested a re-route of the water heater to the floor of the garage ($5,000.00 plus).Matt Boyles, Project Mgr. explained to me he felt I would have better success with Air Hawks. In fact, multiple Air Hawks were needed from his observation (12). I approved the quote, and Matt worked diligently to find our matching shingles (out of area) even though the roof was installed a few years ago.Matt was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and remained in constant contact ensuring me he felt this would fix our problem. His installation crew was very kind and professional as well. A day after installation, I went up to see how the temperature was in the attic; and it felt a littler cooler than the garage itself. Overall, I can say it felt good to finally close the attic door after 3 months. I strongly recommend this company-with an emphasis on doing business with Matt Boyles.

I shopped around and recieved several estimates from different companies. Davis Grant from Kidd Roofing came out, performed an inspection and emailed me a quote. There were repairs that were needed around the chimney and an attached back patio. I asked Davis to send two estimates - one for just the repair and one for the repairs and roof replacement (that roof had been on there for only 8 years but the damage to the roof was caused by water damage because of the poor workmanship quality of the previous roofer). While Kidd Roofing was not the lowest estimate, the difference was such a small amount it was considered comparable to other companies. There were a couple of factors I took into consideration prior to hiring Kidd Roofing. Kidd Roofing had been in business for about 40 years, which is very impressive! If they were not trustworthy, they would not be in business that long. Another consideration was Davis Grant was very knowledgeable, did not try to sugar coat anything, explained what was needed and provided detailed information in his estimate. The contract was signed and a date to begin repairs was made. The crew showed up early that morning, completed all of the repairs and re-roofed the entire house in one day. The roofers were fast, efficient, knowledgeable, did not leave a mess and respected our property. During installation, Davis came out and checked on the progress multiple times. The following week Davis called and set a time to bring the invoice to me. I am very happy with the entire process to have this completed, and the roof looks amazing! After insurance approved payment for a full roof replacement after a windstorm, I was thankful my insurance company was able to provide a list of roofers. With the quote approved, a time for installation was set.Paul Lesters crew arrived on time and did an excellent job. They took care and time to do a thorough clean-up job. I used Kidd roofing for a warranty claim about insufficient ventilation in my attic leading to poor AC performance. Chad stopped by to take a look, consulted with the back office staff about the calculations and quickly got back saying that they needed to add more vents. This is a new home with a new floor plan and there was apparently a calculation error regarding the number of vents. The company owned the mistake and quickly worked to rectify it within a week, being understanding of my situation with the HVAC performance. I bought an old house a couple years ago and the inspection went great; however it wasnt long before I notice significant ponding on my flat roof. Chad Henson was outstanding! He addressed all of our questions and was very knowledgeable and responsive. We had a situation that changed our timing of his needed services but will most definitely contact Chad Henson when were ready. Highly recommend!

I realized I had a missing roof vent with bad weather on the way. Chad came out same day and got me fixed up just ahead of the storm, despite the freezing weather. He took the time out of a busy day to get me fixed on short notice and save me loads of worry. That’s almost unheard of these days. Chad was great to talk to and helped me understand the issue and fixed it right. I really appreciate that and Kidd will be my first call when I need roofing work. They’ve earned my business!

Max Miller at Kidd Roofing has really come through for me and my clients on more than one occasion. I am a licensed architect and realtor, and I always have clients needing some kind of roofing work.Roof leaks can be tough to nail down, so to speak, and Max and his crew are pros. I would hire him again and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for either a new roof or roof repairs on either a metal roof or comp shingle. They may do more flavors of roof but those are the 2 that he has done for me.In the 4 years of working with him on a variety of homes that needed a new roof or needed a repair, I have been impressed with his clear communication and quick response. He does what he says he will do and he never tries to renegotiate his initial cost estimate... this is very valuable to me.
