    Eric and his wife are the best! They saved us from a very expensive repair. Best plumber in Merced county hands down. They are genuine, reliable, affordable and trustworthy.     Second time using Dutchman and they always get the job done. I had an issue with my kitchen sink being clogged up with rice. They came by first thing in the morning and got it all taken care of. Very honest company and best of all veteran friendly.

    Called regarding water heater pilot light not staying lit after a heating cycle. Arrived within a few hours to diagnose. Was unable to replicate the problem but offered advice when others would have tried to sell me on a part i probably didnt need. Always thankful of companies who dont upsell customers just to make a buck. I will definitely be calling them for any plumbing related work in the future.

    We bought our house in 2021 and called Dutchman drains and plumbing out to do an inspection of all the pipes and even advised us on the conditions of the pipes way more then we asked for. We then called them out to replace a hook up for the washer. Again the went above and beyond and took out the make shift sink that was there and put in a new hook up for the washer in the garage. Today, 5/20/2024 I called them again for a different issue. An hour after I called they were here working and the price for all this work is amazing. They show up, work, explain what they are doing and how to maintain what they fixed all while being respectful of our house and family. They earn 5 stars from me everytime. They are veteran owned and operated. If any one has questions please ask.

    I had a pretty major pipe leak under the house. After some calls to plumbers on line that were no shows and actually not local I found Dutchman Drain & Plumbing. As a vet I like veteran owned companies, like Dutchman.The plumber came out quickly and determined I needed a leak detection and he contacted the boss. The owner arrived with a leak detector, new one, and quickly found leak and set the repair to be done.Dutchmans personnel were very polite, in clean uniforms, and were organized, very professional in every way. I would recommend them without hesitation for anything related to plumbing. Very impressive.

    Day of call, Eric came out and assessed our flooding issue in backyard. He said it was our manifold valve in our sprinkle system & gave us an honest option & recommendation to save us money $$$ and go through a landscaper/gardner to fix the issue. I appreciate his honesty & urgency to come out. He additionally did charge us for the visit & assessment. Prior to this encounter, I was an existing customer as he and his crew have come out and fixed one of our toilets. They are prompt & professional. I will continue to be an existing customer & recommend to others!

    My water heater was old and we couldn’t get parts. The Dutchman crew explained everything, each step, even the bad stuff I didn’t want to hear. I would not go with another company, Dutchman does what is necessary and lets you know any potential bad and if it needs to be dealt with now or can wait without selling stuff that is not necessary. It is refreshing to have a company CARE as much as they do!

    Eric does top notch work!!!!!! Amazing stuff. He came and knocked this out immediately. I am so happy for him. Lifesaver. My toilets were blocked and they couldn’t flush. He saved the day. Veteran company and family owned. Highly recommend Eric!!!!

    Wow, called them for a backed up kitchen sink at around 4:30 pm and they said they would be right out in 30 to 45 mins. Eric showed up in 15 mins and got straight to work. He was very polite and clear on what was needed to fix the problem. He cleared out the drain and cleaned up and stayed around to make sure there were no leaks. I would recommend them for your plumbing needs. Very reasonable prices and the customer service was excellent. Also a 3 month warranty on the drain, can’t go wrong with that.

    Saturday night I broke a pipe and the water was gushing.. Eric, with Dutchman plumbing was here first thing Sunday morning. In record time he not only fixed the first problem but took care of other corroded pipe links adjacent. So, from major emergency to problem solved on a weekend was less than 14 hours. Erics price was surprisingly low & to top it all off,, he is a really nice guy.

    Called Dutchman Plumbing Service about a clogged drain in my bathroom. Spoke to a gentleman named Eric - did not know he was the owner of the business! After explaining my issue he said he would be to my home in 45minutes and he was punctual as he stated.He assessed the problem told me the cost toremedy the issue and would give me a 30 day guarantee.     First of all, when I got off the phone with scheduling the appointment, I told my kids ‘wow! I just talked to the nicest lady!’. She stayed in contact with me and let me know when exactly he would be here. When he showed up, he was extremely professional and polite. He didn’t even charge me for the visit!     Reliable and honest. PIpes were plugged up from the house to the street. Provided same day service with a 1 year guarantee. Have a tree root problem so pipes plugged a month later. Called Dutchman, within 3 hours the pipes were cleared, no charge and was advised on how to deal with roots long term. Very impressed they honored their guarantee with fast service and no charge.

    The other morning we had overflowing toilets so looked online for help. Dutchman Drains and Plumbing had great reviews so we called them. The reviews were correct. They were busy and said they could come in the afternoon, but were able to come within an hour. It was not a straightforward job but the plumber kept at it and when he couldnt fix the problem he called his boss to get help. The two of them went the extra mile and solved the problem. They kept us informed all along the way, including letting us know there would be a price increase because the job took two people (fair enough). We even got a new customer discount. We highly recommend Dutchman Drains and Plumbing.

    There are so many plumbers to choose from but I chose Dutchman Plumbing mainly because they answer every single review! This tells me that that theyre proud of their craft and that they value their customers! I also always hire vets when possible.I had water not draining down the main line, my sink and my washing machine were emptying out into my driveway! Eric took it one step at a time and eliminated the things that were not causing the problem and identified the things that were.He explained every step and every problem and let me see through the camera to see the issues. He was worth every single penny and if I ever need a plumber again this is who Im going to call. I recommend you do the same.So I think them sincerely for their service to my home and for Erics service to our country.

    Just moved into an older home and first time using bathroom sink and shower the water was not draining properly. Called on Friday morning and received service same day..he snaked two slow running drains and discovered another sink was just running slow cuz there was hair wrapped around the sink drain..was only charged for the work on the other two drains..he was very fast and offered a warranty on his service.. Veteran owned small business and I highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

    I called Eric after hours and told him I was having trouble with my pilot light on my water heater going out. He immediately came out to see what was going on. He recommended to me that we replace the whole water heater. Since mine was the original, and my house was built in 1971. I trust his judgment. He said this model water heater had a few issues with parts failing, and it would be dangerous if we didnt replace it. Since he has done great work at my other house previously I asked for a quote. The very next day he installed a new water heater. I was happy with the price, he upgraded the plumbing for the gas as well. Welp Im writing this review because 1 month after he replaced mine. My next door neighbor had their water heater set their house on fire. And it burned our joining fence. My next door neighbor had the same water heater, and it was exactly as old as mine. Im truly thankful for the advice and the quick work that was done. I cant imagine if mine had caught fire like this. Danger adverted. Thank you Eric for saving my house from this hazard.     It started on a Sunday morning with the master shower not draining, soon after it escalated to the toilet nearly overflowing and not flushing properly. Around 10am my husband called Dutchman Plumbing while I called another plumber. Dutchman answered the call and got the service. The lady had great hospitality skills and set up the appointment promptly. From the first call to when Eric arrived it was last then two hours. That’s remarkable considering it is a holiday weekend. Eric is courtesy, knowledgeable and professional. He listened to our concerns and went straight to work. We enjoyed learning from him and him communicating what issues he found and the solutions. In small talk we spoke about Veterans Day and learned that he is the business owner who served for our country. Our preference is to support local businesses and Veterans. This business is both of those! We have found a new reliable plumber to provide peace of mind for the future.

    Called Dutchman Drains & Plumbing today due to my sewer drain was backed up. Eric & Jason came out and immediately diagnosed the problem and went to work unclogging my drain. Within approximately ten minutes the drain was unclogged and was free & clear of tree roots. Both Eric & Jason are extremely knowledgeable of all facets of plumbing and drain cleaning and we’re extremely nice. This is a veteran own company and that’s why I choose them.
