I had several projects fixes piling up that needed doing. Things like broken cabinet doors & hinges, doors that werent aligned correctly (and hadnt closed since we moved into the house). The Crafted Maple was quick on communication and solved all of the issues in short order. He rebuilt the cabinet doors (and with more strength than the original builder), and fixed the doors quickly- including showing me one trick Ill keep in mind forever. Thanks for the work!

The Crafted Maple made a custom coffee table for our house. We have a large LEGO build and we couldnt find anything in the right dimensions to display it. The Crafter Maple worked with us to design something that was perfect! Sylvain asked all the right questions, gave us guidance in areas, but also let us pick the look we wanted to make it exactly what we were looking for. We couldnt be happier with the table. It looks great, its great quality, and its very strong. We love it and I highly recommend this company!

The Crafted Maple provides exceptional service at a great price. Sylvain did an outstanding job repairing parts of my deck at my home. He recommended practical solutions that avoided replacing my entire deck. For other projects, he always finds very creative ways to repair rotted or damaged wood that avoids replacing entire areas. Im convinced Sylvain can do any job, big or small. I highly recommend.

I have had an OUTSTANDING experience on multiple projects with Sylvain and his company The Crafted Maple. Most recently, Sylvain fixed an issue at a rental property I have in Reston, VA. He carefully assessed the situation, provided cost-effective options for repairing, and got the job done with quality at a reasonable price. You will not find a contractor more honest than Sylvain. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Crafted Maple for any job involving woodwork… especially if you want to explore creative solutions that save you money and avoid replacing something entirely. He also did miracles patch replacing rotted deck boards at my home in Ashburn. Would give more than 5-stars if I could!

Highly recommend Sylvain! We had several rotting deck joists as well as all of the stringers for our stairs. He replaced the bad joists and enhanced the structural integrity of our deck with additional blocking and structural screws. He also rebuild our entire stairs while reusing the existing railing system to keep material costs down (a very tedious task for sure). He really is more concerned with taking his time and doing the best job possible. We will definitely be calling on him again for future projects.

After struggling for weeks to find a contractor who could do a Palladian window frame repair, Syllvain came in and did the repair promptly and for less than what previous contractors had quoted. His courteous and professional demeanor is a breath of fresh air. We will definitely be using him for future projects.

Sylvain did amazing repairs on the front door and back french door, where rain and snow had rotted the lower part of the door frames. Brian Girouxs review said it perfectly! Hes and attentive listener and knows how to work with wood. He clearly explains what he will have to do, how extensive the work will be, listens and provides succinct explains to my questions, and amazingly enough, accomplished the repairs inline with the scheduled outline. Fortunately for me, the rotted door frames were repaired early enough that no damage was done to the interior floor or sub-floor. The fix looks exactly like the Crafted Maples website picture of the Rotted Out Door Frame.Sylvain is also very personable and enjoys passing on tidbits of his craft. Im very happy with the result.

Sylvain is fantastic to work with! He is great at listening to our ideas/goals, interjecting with his thoughts and suggestions, then landing on a solution that hits the mark. He’s timely in all that he promises, and clearly communicates with you through the process. We’ve used him twice now – one big project, then one smaller project – and we are already talking about when to bring him back again for project number three. Truly a gem, and a rare find in the contracting world!
