Nelson Woodcraft worked beyond what I could ask for. They built the fireplace build out of my dreams. From start to finish the communication and timeliness was amazing. The attention to detail was impeccable. I will definitely recommend him to all my friends and he will be the first one I go to if I ever have another project in the future.

Ken Nelson did a wonderful job cutting a hole in the lower center of a hollow core bedroom door and inserting a louvered vent I had ordered elsewhere. I also asked if he could alter the color of the stain that the vent came with, which he did, making absolutely sure that I was happy with it. Very professional, excellent communication, would 100% recommend.

I hired Ken to help me paint various surfaces on the exterior of my house that were cracking, chipping and peeling. Wow did he deliver! He was done in 3 days, didnt leave a mess and was the most affordable in the area. His communication is great, and he genuinly cares about the customers needs and the outcome of his work.

We needed a false front drawer replaced in front of our kitchen sink. Ken came and took measurements on a Wednesday afternoon and had the custom piece ready to install by Saturday. He came and installed it that Saturday afternoon but the stain didn’t quite match the color of our cabinets so he ran out and got a darker stain to try and match it. It still wasn’t IT and he wasn’t happy with it... so he took the whole piece back, sanded and re-stained it and came back, within hours, to make sure it matched perfectly. Hands down, BEST customer service, AMAZING workmanship, and VERY reasonably priced. If you’re looking for any custom woodworking needs, Nelson Woodcraft should be your first call!

We had an excellent experience working with Nelson Woodcraft. Ken replaced our backyard deck, keeping our requested details in mind. He also installed a railing along our indoor stairwell. He respected our wish to keep the railing/brackets true to the style of our 1936 house…he even matched the stain perfectly with our existing woodwork! Not only is his attention to detail top notch, Ken is honest, trustworthy and has passion and pride in his work. We already have 3 more projects lined up for the future! Thanks, Ken!
