    Douglas is a talented and experienced craftsman. We are grateful to have been able to work with him on a couple of projects. The latest, during a renovation of our living room, we had a brainstorm to have a mantel installed on our fireplace. Doug was able to use our ideas and then created, constructed, stained and installed the piece where previously there had not been a mantel. Very pleased and thankful to Doug!Adding 3 photos of the latest work Douglas did for us, expertly refinishing my grandparents 100 year old dining set. He went the extra mile with all the detail and especially with the table top to restore the set to near perfect condition. We are thrilled and highly recommend Douglas.

    Doug made an awesome custom desk made from the most gorgeous wood that perfectly fits my needs as a grad student. The desk has ample storage, a lifted shelf for my monitor that also has storage, drawers that soft close, and a pen catcher that catches the pens I would otherwise inevitably lose. Doug also gave tips on how to take care of the piece which definitely comes in handy since my partner and I use it every day.Thanks Doug for the great work!

    Doug is a master of his craft. We wanted a custom bed frame that was going to last us forever and Doug definitely delivered. He was very detail oriented with the project. He was also very patient with us in figuring out the best design for it, while also suiting our preferences. He even personally delivered it to our home and assisted with the assembly. We will definitely go to him again for other wooden projects in the future.

    I only had a humble job for this master craftsman, to repair 4 different vintage chairs I had collected, but he was happy to service them and charged me an excellent price. Doug transported my chairs with professional care, was quick to finish the job, and had freshened the paint on the 2 that were painted, without my asking. It is rare to find a craftsman of his caliber out here in the edge of Texas-New Mexico. Highest possible recommendation!

    I am so happy with my new custom coffee table! I gave Doug a TinkerCAD drawing of my idea for a farmhouse meets mid-century modern asymmetrical coffee table and he ran with it. There were a few months where communication was a little rough, but as soon as the coffee table started coming together I had constant communication and pictures along the way. He even hand-delivered it to our property in East Texas! The coffee table will be the centerpiece of our living room in our new house.

    We called Doug at Dado Woodworking to reglue some chairs from an old dining set that we had had for years. He told us that he wouldn’t be able to start for a few weeks and after a few weeks he called back and said he was ready at the time he said he would be. He re-glued the chairs in the time frame that he said it would take and he did an excellent job. He even added a urethane to protect the finish. He ended up charging us exactly what he said it would cost. If everybody I dealt with was as conscientious as Doug and did his work in such a timely manner this world would be a wonderful place.
