    We did a major house renovation, involving three floors of our split-level home. We had to move out during the renovation process, and we never once had issues with the Harth staff, the timeline, and their follow through on the project!We have already recommended Harth Builders to 3 of our friends because we were so overwhelmingly pleased with the process and finished product.Seamless from start to finish! Highly recommend!

    TL;DR: Excellent quality, excellent service, on schedule and on budget.We began exploring a major home renovation in the summer of 2023. We live in a ~1600 square foot home built in 1941 and were feeling cramped with the choppy layout and our growing family. After talking to a few contractors about the price of an addition, we decided to focus on utilizing every square foot of our existing home. We knew we needed help thinking creatively and developing a design plan that met our needs AND our budget.From the initial meeting, we were thrilled with every member of the Harth team that we encountered. Jennifer and Tyler were tremendously patient with us as we debated various layouts and weighed the costs. They went above and beyond to produce a layout I never would have considered to truly maximize the space we had to work with. Jennifer provided much needed guidance to make the design process feel easy. Denise remained close to the project and kept us where we needed to stay financially.The project ended up including a complete kitchen gut and reconfiguration, including removing a wall and re-routing HVAC, reconfiguring another area of the first floor to create a mudroom area and powder room, and many smaller “foundational” items to bring the house up to code.We moved out during the project, but had weekly meeting with our Project Manager to stay up to speed with things. The crew at the house was always happy to share what they’d work on that day and chat with us when we stopped by. Our neighbors commented on how friendly and respectful they were. The quality of work was excellent. We moved back in with a few weeks of the project remaining. Harth ensured the space was clean and safe, and that their presence was the least disruptive as it could be.Looking back at this major home renovation (with two small children), I’m shocked we were able to maintain low stress levels throughout; but that was completely thanks to the exceptional service Harth provides. I am absolutely in love with our new space and it has brought a feeling of ease into our everyday lives. I would absolutely recommend working with Harth.

    Harth Builders renovated our kitchen which entailed expansion by removing a wall. They were extremely well organized, with consistent weekly written reports (including photographs) and weekly face to face meetings with the project manager at our option. They finished as scheduled (we made a few changes that required extensions) and the kitchen was usable exactly when they estimated. The crafts people were very respectful of the property, befriended our dog, and kept the place secure at all times, even when we were travelling. The site was always neat and orderly when they left each day. We especially appreciated the design team who guided us through choices and options without being overbearing. We cant say enough about the very knowledgeable project manager (Chris) whose communication style is friendly and precise. Cost estimates (contingencies) were spot on.

    We recently completed a 1st floor renovation with Harth and are extremely pleased! Friendly people, timely communication, projected completed on schedule and on budget (all at once in 8 straight weeks). Respectful of our home and family. We loved the design phase as well! Fantastic ideas to help build the blueprint for our dream renovation. Happy we went the design/build route and thrilled we chose Harth!

    Our experience with Harth was fantastic. They guided us through the entire design phase with creative ideas and made the decision process easy, considering how overwhelming design-decisions can be. During the construction phase, they set expectations on timing, level of dust/dirt to expect and most importantly had great communication as things came up where we needed to collectively tweak the plan due to unforeseen changes to the plans --which were totally expected to happen along the way when you tear down walls and reconfigure floor plans. Harths team was proactive and always had a great alternative solution. We are in love with our new space!!! Thank you, Harth Team :)

    Our experience with Harth was exceptional!From our very first meeting with them, they were very attentive to our ideas and very attentive to us as we explained what we wanted done. Chris, Kevin & the whole Harth Team worked together to deliver an exceptional experience.Our designer, Dayna listened to us as we told her what we would like to see in the finished product. At our next meeting she took us to places we did not envision with her design. She took us outside our Comfort Zone. It was everything we wanted and more.What a wonderful experience. Her design just made us say “oh wow”! We just loved everything. She worked with us fine-tuning our choices, and the finished product is more than we could’ve ever imagined for our bathroom and main bedroom suite and closet.I would highly recommend Harth.

    Harth completely remodeled our bathroom and did some work on the adjoining room (moving closets around). Overall a great experience with all parts of the team from the designers to the various tradespeople working in the house. They kept things clean as they worked (weve had demo done in the house before and this was 100 times cleaner), kept the hours they said they would keep (no showing up unexpectedly), and were all around informative and nice to deal with (I work from home so I was around for the whole process). Would definitely hire them again for future renovations.

The cost was clearly defined upfront and in the end proved to be accurate. The weekly updates were very helpful. The workers were professional and respected our property which was very important since we have an HOA. We are satisficed with the finished product.
