Five stars! Five stars! McKenzie and his team were great to work with from the first phone call to our completed and installed docks. We live on a small lake outside of Alex Bay. They had no hesitation building, transporting and installing our docks. We will absolutely contact Garlock for future projects.

We asked several contractors for bids on our project and Mckenzie was the only one who truly listened to our questions and ideas. He immediately suggested a completely different roof than the other contractors and worked with us every step of the way. In addition, he took us around to other projects he had worked on to see different flooring, cabinets, etc. so we could understand our choices. He made recommendations for issues we had not considered and every single one of them ended up being spot-on. He also quickly adjusted to any changes we made along the way. The work was high quality and the end product is beautiful, and all within our budget (even with change orders).Our cottage is in TIP so there are a lot of rules contractors have to follow and lots of hoops to jump through; Mckenzie was resilient and responsive at all times and drove the success of our project. Our biggest concern with the project was we didnt want it to look newer than the rest of the cottage - our neighbors tell us the addition looks like its always been there and we could not be more pleased. In addition, Mckenzie and his entire crew were a joy to work with. They are highly skilled with a great work ethic and also very personable. To say we were happy with the renovations undertaken by Garlock Contracting would be a gross understatement. McKenzie and his crew diagnosed the leaking problems we had been experiencing at our cottage and came up with workable, affordable solutions. Perhaps just as important, McKenzie restored our faith in North Country contractors, promptly responding to our every query and completing the job ON SCHEDULE. He and his crew are a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend them.
