I purchased a generator after getting a quote on a whole house Generac generator. The electrical installer local company quoted a price between $15,000- $18,000. Since our home is a certified all electric home I would have had to either have a natural gas line installed or get a large propane tank brought in somewhere. I didnt want a huge ugly propane tank against the house along with the big Generac generator. It doesnt exactly make for a great landscaping look. Also the install of a natural gas line, though free from the gas company, isnt exactly free. First, you dont really have much choice of the location of the gas meter when it is installed so if you need more line run to your generator from the meter thats on you. Secondly, the gas company has a minimum service charge each month even if you dont use any fuel. The installer didnt give me any other options than the whole house setup. I am retired and thought that was just too much money to spend so after doing some research I called Entirewire. I spoke to Brad on the phone and told me about a large portable generator that has tri-fuel options. He came out gave me a quote to update my electrical panel and install a 50A generator Interlock kit with a 50A inlet plug for $4,075. I purchased a Westinghouse Wgen9500tfc generator that cost me $1283 after tax, and a 25FT 50Amp Generator Cable/Plug, NEMA 14-50P to SS2-50R Extension Cord with NEMA SS2-50P Generator Inlet box for $182. That comes to a total of $5540 compared to a minimum of $15,000 with the other company. That to me is saving me close to $10,000. Even though this is technically a portable generator, I can still run my entire electric house with it by managing unneeded circuits that are unnecessary during a power outage. The only down side is you will have to keep it filled with either gasoline or propane and this generator also has an electric push button start, a remote start key fob, and manual start. More importantly it has a 50a outlet that plugs directly into the electrical box.The guys from Entirewire got here promptly at 8:30am that was the set appt. time. Jeffery and another nice young man(sorry I didnt get his name) got going immediately. They worked their butts off since I had to have a new service box installed, a 50amp inlet plug, and the main service cable going to the electric meter. They were here almost 11 hours to get all this done in one day. Both guys were not only friendly and professional, but very knowledgeable. Before they left they went through everything with me including all the procedures needed to do in the case of a power failure. What a fantastic experience! I will call Entirewire for all my electrical needs in the future. Thank you

THE BEST! What more can I say. I almost had a fire in my panel box, old as dirt thing that it was. EntireWire was recommended by my insurance gal (of 25 years). Clayton and Brad came out the next day (Friday), had my quote (lowest of 3 by $1100) to me before noon, and then the job was completed on Tuesday. Fast, reliable, respective, responsive -- and I must mention Kelly, their office admin. She texts to keep you informed of any issues -- awesome communication!

To top it all off, the workers made sure that the job was done right and assured me that I could call if, for some reason, I had any problems with the light in the future. You never want something to happen when a house project is going on, but in the off chance that it does, you want someone like the EntireWire team on your side! We had multiple outlets and a ceiling fan added to our home, along with replacing the outdoor service conduit. Through no fault of their own, our fiber optic line for our internet was damaged and our project took longer than expected. These guys not only heard and understood my frustrations, but did everything in their power to remedy the situation.The team is kind and the work is truly phenomenal (I cannot explain how great these outlets look!) There are some services that you need a guy for, and EntireWire is exactly that; an team that can be relied on.

Replaced outdated Wadsworth panel. I called Brad and he went over to the house to look at it on the outside on a cold, winter day. We had purchased the home, but didn’t have the keys yet. He knew from the report what needed to be done and the workers showed up on time and worked efficiently and professionally!UPDATE*** I just needed to have the electric in my garage updated and couldnt remember the name of the awesome company that I had used for a different home. I called Entire Wire, not remembering that this was the same company that I had used before. Brad came out and not only addressed my electrical problems with the garage, but also gave some insight on security and other things that were pertinent to what I needed to have for my workshop. I did not know until after the work was done, and I was happening to organize my email and came across an estimate from Entire Wire for the other work we had done. I was already planning on leaving a 5 star review, but found that I already did the last time I encountered them. So, I guess technically that means that Brad and the Entire Wire team get 10 stars from me!!! Seriously, I highly recommend them because Brad is such a great listener and wealth of knowledge. I have more than my fair share of working with contractors who dont listen to me, or talk over me because they believe that they know better when Im trying to describe what I need. Especially when it comes to safety and efficiency.

My wife and I had purchased a vacant bank owned property which had all of the exposed electrical wires in the basement cut out. One of the circuits went to the basement sump pump which caused flooding issues. We had called around to several electrical contractors only to find out nearly everyone was booked several weeks and in some instances several months out. The receptionist at Entirewire was extremely helpful and accommodating in working with us through the water issues to get Brad out to give us an estimate. We gave them the job and they were able to come back within a week to complete it.Overall, I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

I echo the sentiments in the previous 5-star reviews, and would like to add a few more comments: 1. They answer their phone, and/or return a call promptly, 2. The two friendly and polite electricians seem to have good chemistry and work well as a team, which really helps with efficiency when they an split up and complete multiple tasks at the same time, and 3. I live in West Akron in an old house that has some pretty quirky wiring and lighting, which they were able to decipher and fix quickly. FYI, all of the electrical work I needed done was outside/landscape lighting and wiring. They even worked through the (light) rain. Thanks, guys.

Clayton, Brad and the Entirewire team did an excellent job at our house. This was a new build project where Entirewire was used to provide all electrical services to the home. They went above and beyond throughout the entire project. Clayton met with us to go over plans, make adjustments, etc. before the electrical work started. Clayton also had no problem making changes on the fly as construction progressed. We couldn’t be happier with Entirewire and how it all turned out. They also installed two outlets on the screened in porch, re routed and repaired unsafe wiring from the previous homeowners, and removed unnecessary outlets/wiring. They also figured out a way to do these repairs with no drywall damage! Their attention to detail and quality of work was superb! We are so glad we chose EntireWire!
