From the start, our Sales Executive, Moses, patiently guided us through the process, answering all questions without any pressure.Project Manager Amanda assisted in obtaining all city, utility and HOA permits, and the installation team, led by a communicative and thorough team lead, did an excellent job. Initial breaker issues with our Span electrical panel were quickly resolved.We were particularly impressed with the post-installation support from Field Applications Engineer, Frans. He went above and beyond, providing both remote and in-person guidance on using the Tesla and Span apps to manage our system. Good Faith Energy installed an 18kW solar system with battery back up at our house in October. They were great from the first call until the finish. Our salesperson Meghan was wonderful to work with and went the extra mile to make sure that they had as much information as they needed to estimate the job properly and was always available to answer questions and make sure we were aware of what we were getting. I felt that their pricing was pretty close to other quotes that we got for the system, but they were more detailed. Once we had committed to working with Good Faith, we paid a deposit and they put together the documents needed for getting a permit and we waited for Dallas to give us the okay to move forward. There is a little bit of waiting while this happens so be aware that between the work needed to get the permit documents together, for Dallas to issue the permit, and for you to get on the construction schedule it may be a couple of months. A lot of that time is waiting for Dallas to issue the permit, though. Once construction began the crews started early in the morning and worked diligently all day. They were good about cleaning up and I didn’t have any concerns about them having complete access to the house. Everyone was friendly and professional. Unlike most contractors I’ve worked with, Good Faith Energy had Cris, who was solely dedicated to quality control, come out separately from the construction crew after everything was done and look over the install to make sure it was done to their standards. They also had Frans come out and explain the system to us in detail, help us set up apps on our phone that controlled the battery and load control systems, pick a power supplier to maximize our savings, and do a power outage simulation to show how the system works when the grid goes down. Good Faith Energy is a soup to nuts provider. They never let us feel like we were on our own. They were experts on the system that they installed; they will maintain the system, update the system should we want that, and everyone has been completely delightful to work with. I don’t think you can go wrong with Good Faith as your solar energy company!

We’ve been looking at installing solar panels for several years, from 2017 Tesla solar roof till every couple of years revisiting and getting bids from various companies. Finally found Good Faith Energy who is a local installer and have very good reputation both installation and repair services if needed. So we visited their warehouse, talked about the plan and the installation process, timeframe and expectations, every question is addressed in a timely manner. During the whole process constantly trying to keep us in the loop. The installation crew are polite and on time, the post installation visit addresses any issues may arise. During installation there’s small incident of broken attic ceilings, they inform you of the problems without your noticing or prompting, and automatically schedule repairman without a fuss, and finish the repair with our approval. Post installation configuration has some hiccups, also resolved without any problems, thanks to Frans’s help. Everything is above board, straight forward. Solar installation is such a big project, but they make it sooo easy. Want to especially thanks the electrician Ryan, knowing our electric wires and panels are old and messy, spent so much time try to sort them all out, really appreciate it. If anyone thinking about solar system installation, Good Faith Energy really is the way to go!

Everyone from Good Faith is always professional and it has been easy to talk to them. They usually know the answer to any question, but if not, they get an answer within 24 hours. They always return phone calls or texts promptly. They are familiar with all facets involved in a solar system like how to choose an electric company and battery brands. They also keep you updated on the progress of getting the local permits. This is very helpful since the process of getting solar panels is quite complicated. I felt that I could ask them for information or clarification in the progress even if they were not the installing company.Their installers are also very professional and efficient workers and they pick up after themselves. They showed up on time and explained what they were doing and why it had to be done that way. They were able to answer all off my questions and I felt they were very professional and took care not to damage any of my property. After the installation there Frans came out to explain in detail how the system worked and to tell us how to trouble shoot problems which may occur. For the first time in the process of dealing with installers of the panels, thermostat, and the backup batteries did I feel comfortable with the whole process. No doubt they are the best people in town for solar installation. They wont oversell their products like many others, they just tell you what is good and what they can do. GFE has very experienced team in all the departments. When I started my conversation with Lindsey to see if it makes sense to choose them over direct Tesla installers, within few minutes of talking to her I have decided that I will go with GFE for my solar installation over direct Tesla for so many reasons like 1. committed timeline for the whole process is way less than Tesla timelines, 2. Pricing is very competitive and they can match Tesla quote, 3. Their initial design fits more panels than what Tesla can do, 4. Most importantly they are local and just a phone/text/email away if something happens vs Tesla support which is a big joke, and takes months to return the service requests based on Tesla customer reviews. So, I was in and out with the decision of going with GFE in about one phone call and in less than 4 hours. Lindsey is the best in sales and she answered all my stupid questions over and over and exceeded my expectation. After that process, next comes Amanda, who I think the best in the project management, big shoutout to her for all her tremendous handling the project in every stage. She takes care of HOA, Utility, City Permits, Engineering effortlessly and her turn around time for any email is super quick and to the point. Really she is the backbone of the whole process. So impressed with her work. Now coming to Joe who handles design and engineering, did fantastic job for designing my system in a way that I wanted. He is very knowledgeable and responsive. Coming to the billing team, Shaima, she is wonderful and so accommodating for any payment requests, I feel money is not important to them (normally with other business, this is not the case) rather they are giving importance to the customer values and any of their requests, Im so happy the way she handled my billing questions/requests. Coming to the installation, Noe and team, who are very knowledgeable on the electrical side and did a fantastic job of installing all components of the solar system. He is super cool when working onsite at 100F temperature for 3 complete days. Finally, Cris, who did inspection post installation and no matter whether it is good or bad, he followed all quality guidelines and made his roof team to come back and fix some of the minor issues he found, so I really appreciate his honesty on that front. I have not taken several other names who actually worked directly/in-directly for my solar install so please excuse me but what I can say is if you are looking for solar and you are in their service location, no doubt you can go with Good Faith Energy over any other installer. Im truly 100% satisfied with their work from the day of signing the contract to install and also post install support so far. Because of this great experience, Im again going with them for expanding my project with more panels, this is a clear indication that how much I love them. GFE rocks....

Good Faith installed a Solar Panel and Tesla Powerwall system on my house, and I could not be more pleased.Having seen so much shoddy work and lack of pride of workmanship, I normally do everything myself. This project was a bit out of my range, so I shopped around for an installer.Good Faith met or exceeded expectations at every turn. From the initial feasibility study to the final walk through, everything went as smoothly as I could have hoped.The roof crew braved excessive heat and a very steep metal roof to quickly and neatly install the solar panels.Ronny and Jerid did an outstanding job of mounting all of the assorted boxes, devices, and conduit, leaving me with a very neat, professional looking installation.Everyone from Meghan (first contact) to Frans (final walkthrough) was friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, patient.

Good Faith Energy is a unique, customer-focused, solar panel and home battery installer that provides a complete turnkey PV grid-tied (and/or off-grid) home alternate energy system; at a great price! I chose Good Faith Energy (GFE) to design a solar-battery system that powers my small second home in Texas (1,250 sqft).I selected GFE because they’re a credible company with well-educated, highly experienced, very knowledgeable, certified professionals that are trustworthy and conscientious. As with many customers, upon agreeing to the terms, I wanted my system immediately; nevertheless, Sammy and Permitting and Operations manager Samantha Strickland were upfront, honest and straightforward. Even though I was well aware of the regulatory and compliance process in other places, these GFE solar masters explained the nuances of going solar in Texas. They managed very well with the heat-waves (temperatures above 100 degrees F) that DFW was experiencing which would make roof and attic installation delays inevitable. These expectations were set and I understood, before I signed the contract with GFE and their specialists would update me throughout the construction process.Also, the companys employees are detailed in procedures and are meticulous in execution. All aspects are fully integrated, such that the methodical process is smooth from start to finish. Specialists like their Lead Engineer Joe San Juan, and Field Applications Engineer Frans Sanchez, ensured unwanted issues did not arise at any stage. In fact, one of the on-site technicians reminded me that he needed to “attach the garage based battery sensor system to a separate house-bound smoke detector.” This nuance caught me off-guard; however, Chris Lisenby’s GFEs QC, attention to a seemingly insignificant detail, in such a complex process, was attended to methodically. Now there will be no future problems!Their support does not end once the installation is complete. Frans Sanchez (a guru of grid autonomous and solar integrated systems) will come to your home and spend hours (if desired) explaining all aspects of your new system. He is the type of individual that will give you just the facts, the cliff-notes of your system, or explain it down to the details of solar incident angles versus planetary precession speeds at various times of the year. Furthermore, Frans will elucidate the distinction between a Residential Energy Supplier (RES) and a Transmission Distribution Utility (TDU) and how it will affect your specific costs. In SW Florida there is no distinction; there is only FPL. Once I understood Texas’ differentials, Frans pointed me in the direction of a RES that allows me to maximize the efficiency of my solar/battery grid-tied system and nearly zero-out operating costs.No matter what the issue, the founder and CEO, Mr. Mohammed Abdalla, was but a telephone call away. I was welcomed by this C-Level manager early in the process and when he heard I was upset about an issue; he immediately telephoned to set the issue correct. Hindsight (and facts) show that I was in error; but Mr. Abdalla did not care. He made no attempt to point out my mistake, nor did he even mention it. He simply made the adjustments I requested, swallowed the costs, and apologized profusely. This behavior is abnormal in the corporate world; but it is the very definition of the words Good Faith.In conclusion, I highly recommend Good Faith Energy as a provider and installer of your solar-battery integrated home system. They are knowledgeable in the nuances of the sector and will provide you great value for your money. The alternate energy process, while complicated, is made simple for the customers of GFE. From sales to the CEO, every member of the Good Faith Energy team will help you navigate all the details as they provide you after service support and care. My experience with Good Faith Energy was great! Everyone from sales, the project management team to the Field Applications Engineer have been very good.Moe was great in sales and explained everything well in detail with the whole process. Maisi was great with her informative and to-the-point YouTube videos explaining the equipment. Amanda and her project team did great explaining the whole process with the documents and made scheduling easy. The installers, Noe & Martin, were great with installing the whole system and it looks very clean. Frans, the Field Applications Engineer, assisted me with how the system works and making sure I have the system setup and suggested some really good solar plans based on my system. Even the credit union for applying for the loan were really good and explained things very well.The overall experience was great. I felt I received a great deal for a very well thought out system for my home. The Span and Tesla Powerwall 3 system should save lots of money on my energy bills and having a reliable battery backup makes life simpler. I might even get money back each year, instead. A worthwhile investment!

So far, the solar panels are doing great and generating a lot of energy for us!The only complaint we had was that for the construction crew that worked in our attic for the solar panels install, they didnt clean up after themselves and there was quite a bit of debris. Other than that, very good experience!

Lindsey, Amanda and Dameon did an exceptional job. I would highly recommend Good Faith to anyone looking for a Solar and Battery install.A couple of things that stood out to me, first, was the fact that they didn’t try to oversell the benefits of solar. Secondly, their sizing of our system. I wanted to go all out with multiple Powerwalls, but ended up with a single Powerwall 3 and a 16kw system based on their review of our past energy consumption. After reviewing the solar output from our system, I feel their sizing was spot on. Again, I highly recommend this company.

I was really pleased with how everything went with the Good Faith Energy team. Wonderful execution across the board. From educating me about how solar works and the benefits, to the prepping and execution of the installation process, everything went very smooth. I live in the city of Austin so I knew communication was going to be important through the process. All in all, great communication from Mo and his team including Samantha, MJ, Ronnie, and the solar panel installation crew. I ended up starting out with18 solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3 all exterior mounted and I was a bit unsure of how it would all look but everything turned out great! I highly recommend checking them out if youre considering getting solar panels for your home.Update: Just had my post-installation visit with Frans and it went great. I learned a lot about the system and the app and how everything works. Frans was awesome and really knows his stuff. The visit was definitely worth it. I appreciate it!

I am very pleased with my solar installation from Good Faith Energy and I highly recommend working with Good Faith Energy. The experience from sales, to installation, and then service was transparent and satisfying.My goal was to get all work and inspections completed before the end of the year for tax purposes, and Good Faith helped deliver. Even when things were not in their control, Good Faith worked with local approvers to clarify HOA requirements, and inspectors to move up dates. Amanda, the project manager, was amazing to work with.Now that I have been online +1 week, I’ve learned that by moving things around that I can use my solar and batteries smarter. For example, I moved the pool filtration to earlier in the day and eliminated draining the batteries wastefully. Also, by changing my EV charging to solar only, my grid consumption has dropped. Both the Tesla and Span apps are amazing to interact with.My gotchas have been the insurance costs are higher than sales estimated, and the grid costs thru the power provider have some monthly service charges (but on the plus side, they are buying back credits).Again, I highly recommend working with Good Faith Energy!

The entire GF team made my life easier. I am the type of customer that will ask everything and question everything (just because I want to understand what I am getting into). So from the beginning Mohammad clarified all of my questions and concerns even with the financial aspect and the energy credits and everything else, Samantha my PM which was on top of everything I needed to sign and review, the installation l, electrician and PM crew (after they finished they leave everything super cleaned, not even a piece of plastic was left behind, up to the final meeting with Franz the engineer aka GF team Geek Squad, he walked me through all the system nooks and crannies, helped me up setting the app to the best way to maximize the solar energy and answered all my random questions and concerns (in addition to all the emails he answered me before our official meeting). We had a fantastic experience working with several team members from Good Faith Energy. When we approached the team for a quote, we were comparing quotes from two companies – our retail electric provider who contracted through a third party to install solar panels, and GFE, a local installer with a reputation for good quality work and customer service. After looking at detailed options, the choice we made (GFE) was the right one, and here’s why:Sammy was an exceptional salesman, easy to talk to and completely knowledgeable about all things solar, battery, and energy. His brother Mohammed founded GFE. You can tell by talking to Sammy that this family cares passionately about GFE and about their customers. We met with him several times and he was responsive to questions about which panels, what microinverters, what budget etc etc. When we decided to move forward with the quote to reach near energy independence (solar panels + SPAN panel + 2 batteries) he transitioned us to Amanda, the project manager. In the interim, several people came by the house to take measurements & photos so that they provided the most accurate quote. Each person who stopped by was completely professional and courteous.Amanda was another gem as a project manager. She introduced herself on a call and then was in touch throughout the project by email and phone, and was immediately responsive to questions. She oversaw the process of obtaining the necessary approvals with city, HOA and smoothed out all the hiccups along the way (stringent requirements with the city necessitating pre-inspections before the actual inspection). We did not have to deal with ANY of this, thanks to Amanda. The GFE team knows their stuff. I had complete trust. When the installation team came to the house (I was working, my 70+ year old mother was home), she said they were professional, diligent, and courteous. It was also a clean work site. No mess. Thanks GFE.After the installation, Frans conducted a post-installation walk-through. This was a “get to know your system” and was well worth the time to focus and listen and learn. He spent an hour helping me connect to the system on my phone after installing and connecting through the apps, and learning what it means to be in control of our energy usage. He was patient with my dumb questions and helped me reset expectations about what happens in a power outage. I think GFE realizes that to “close the loop” on providing customer service after the installation, it’s necessary to make sure that people buying solar panels understand how their systems work, and the benefit to education about energy use in the home. It was extremely helpful.Since that time, we have enjoyed near 100% solar energy power our home day and night (thanks batteries). The panels look sleek and the system has worked without a hitch. It was a very good investment.For us, this was an investment in our home, which followed *another* power outage in Texas that left me without the ability to open my garage door and get my 70+ year mother out of her 90 degree house. The energy problem in Texas is real during the summer heat now. We are so glad to have made this investment with GFE - because they are a local company, they are very invested in doing superior work for customers. The wraparound service is fantastic. Thanks GFE.

I did a solar panel , SPAN, and battery backup setup with GFE which was completed in December 2023.Originally i was reviewing a quote with Tesla but got ahold of GFE sales engineer Mohammed as they were a certified premium installer of the formers energy products. He quickly won me over with his knowledge of the field and addressed every question posed with great certainty.Out of 10, i would give the implemenation process of the system a 9.7. It was mostly seamless. There was a subcontractor delay and some details around the SPAN and battery backup setup had to be adjusted at the last minute due to logistics but overall GFE staff were quick to address issues and concerns as they arised.GFE completed the installation and got all the municipal approvals to have the system operable by 2023 year end which i greatly appreciated as it allowed me to claim the energy credits on my tax return.Post installation support has been reasonable and the installation remains in solid shape despite the turbulent weather patterns affecting Texas.I look forward to working with them now and in the future. For solar in DFW, they are highly recommended.

We are extremely pleased going on our solar journey with Good Faith Energy! I’ve been researching solar for about 2 years. I’ve gone back and forth and talked to about half a dozen companies. I was BLOWN away by the professionalism and personalized serviced provided by GFE. I already had a contract with Tesla for my panels and PW’s, then a friend suggested I call GFE since they can tailor the project much better than Tesla (which is cookie cutter). From first contact they were WAY different than Tesla. They came to my house, showed me many more options than Tesla, and we were able to add additional panels and in a MUCH better layout than Tesla had. So at that point I was impressed, however, would it cost double Tesla, since everyone says they are the cheapest? I was PLEASANTLY surprised that if I went apples to apples equipment wise, they were able to come in very close to Tesla’s price. After much discussion we decided to upgrade to the Microinverters and better panels which did end up costing more, but I think it was worth it in the end. And when do you get a personal call from the owner of the company to discuss your project?! Mohammed Abdalla one of the owners was fantastic throughout the process and was very approachable with any questions I had. And I had a lot of questions! It’s a big investment and you want to go with a company that listens to you and will be around when things go bad. Around 4 months later I realized two micro’s were not working, sent a ticket online, and they are in the process of replacing those with no hassle. Also, the inspector gave a bit of a hassle, and the master electrician came himself to figure things out and we passed after reinspection. Only negative that I can think of is that I did have to pay for sheetrock repairs personally, which was a little odd. Overall super impressed with GFE and happy to answer questions if anyone wants to contact me or even see my set up.

I purchased a system from them awhile ago and was mostly very happy with the experience. My sales person was knowledgeable and friendly, as well as prompt. My installation team was professional, except for one hole put in my ceiling, which they did repair. 3 things Id note for anyone who reads this.1. The warranty is PARTS only, Im not saying I was mislead, more like I probably didnt read everything well enough, but I recently had to have the micro-inverter replaced on one of my panels, and was very surprised when I found out that the inverter was covered by the warranty, the labor was not. which brings me too2. While I like them, Im looking for a more local company to service my system in the future as when I purchased through them I was unaware that I was considered long range so I have to pay an additional fee to have my warranty work done as well.3. When I purchased my system it came with a rather nice tax credit, and as long as I paid my tax credit to the financing my payment would stay at a lower monthly fee, however what I was unaware of is I didnt make enough for my entire tax credit to be given back to me in the first 18 months of owning the system, so Id have had to pay about half my tax credit to the finance company out of pocket to keep the lower payment because the actual tax credit took me 3 years to get all of it back.Again, I still very much recommend the company, but if youre a bit father away, those are all things you might need to be aware of.

We found Good Faith Energy (GFE) from Tesla’s website as their preferred installer of solar systems in Texas and they responded within a day of us contacting them.We had our first call with GFE on 05/30/24 to start the discussion on our solar project. They were extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. They even called one of their customers to speak to us regarding their solar project who said they were extremely happy with the entire process, and even subsequently added panels to their system.We had several subsequent video chats with the CEO, Mohammed Abdalla, who continued to graciously answer all of our numerous questions and even revised some pieces of the contract with a few things we requested. The contract included all the legal verbiage and the exact specifications for the system that we had agreed on. We signed the contract with GFE on 05/31/24 and the process started.Our site visit was scheduled for 06/01/24. We determined that a set of panels on one section of the roof on the front side of the house wouldn’t work due to no access from the attic, so we had to revise the layout. We ended up moving those panels to the back of the house and added a few more panels to generate the production we needed since that area doesn’t get as much sun as the front of the house. On 06/10/24 we added a SPAN to the contract and GFE had no issues with any of our requested changes.We had to wait for approval from Oncor, which was signed 07/04/24, and we got Interconnection approval on 07/26/24. The installation was scheduled to occur 08/08/24-08/13/24 and did actually occur as per the schedule.We had an issue where production was not as expected and GFE came out immediately, worked diligently, and got everything resolved within 3 days.After a few weeks of production, GFE sent a representative, Frans Sanchez, to our house to make sure we knew what all the equipment did and that we knew what to do in various scenarios. He successfully performed an off-grid test where we simulated a grid power outage. He reviewed the Tesla and SPAN apps with us and showed us how to use them optimally, making suggestions for some of the settings. He gave us several websites to visit, suggested electric plans based on our system and how we use electricity in our home, and suggested we join the Texas Solar Facebook group.We recently completed our first full month of production and our electric bill was only $35 dollars. The previous month was $530 so we are extremely happy with that!Overall, we are extremely happy with Good Faith Energy. Everyone we have spoken with and all of the workers who performed the work have been very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We definitely recommend them!

My experience with Good Faith has been beyond exceptional. They were amazing to work with and Im thrilled with the work they did.I got roof-mounted PV panels from a different company over 10 years ago, and that was fine, but the Texas electric grid is unreliable and if you have solar but not batteries, when the grid fails, you lose power even during the day. Ive no desire to bake or freeze to death in my home and wanted batteries. After quite a bit of research, I decided on the Franklin Whole Home, and contacted GFE. They were great during the quote process, they were great during the install process (which included me having to leave town for a death in the family), and theyve been absolutely amazing post installation--way beyond reasonable expectations.As it turned out, I got the batteries JUST in time. Ive historically had pretty consistent power--even during Texas Icepocalypse 2021, I only lost power for about 5 minutes cumulatively during the entire week--but no sooner did the batteries get installed and charged and the neighbor knocked the transformer off the pedestal. Three times, in three weeks. The entire block was without power...we didnt even notice.I *highly* recommend GFE to anyone whos wanting to stay cool in the Texas summer and warm in the Texas winter.

Weve had a very good experience with Good Faith Energy; we wanted to add Powerwalls, after a previous installation by another company. The installation itself was quick and efficient, though weather delayed pouring the concrete pad. As adults nearing 80, we really like having stored solar power when the grid goes down during a storm, or a squirrel gets itself in the wrong place in a transformer and blows the transformer. We often need to be up at night and if all the lights go off, balance can be affected. Good Faith Energy has been diligent and helpful serving our system, and ensuring that were getting the power we need.

Immediately after the installation, there was bad weather and I was able to observe the system in action and everything worked perfectly! I asked Mo to give me a quote for after Sevohn added an outlet for my Tesla. He presented me with lots of options and didnt try to push me into any particular product but rather gave me his honest opinion based on my criteria. I have a small roof so I went with the highest efficiency panel because it makes sense for me and he gave me a great price and set me up with a Powerwall. They take care of all the paperwork, scheduling, inspections, rebates, credits, etc. If you want to get into the weeds and geek out they are more than willing to explain every component and installation decision with you. Shane was excellent at listening to my installation concerns and planning accordingly, and then making adjustments on the day of install when issues arose as they do. If you are going solar then you need to let them give you a bid.

Mo and his team helped me install my second Tesla Solar Roof after a crazy hailstorm destroyed the first one installed by Teslas crew.What a huge difference between the two installs. My first roof took Teslas guys 2 months to complete, Good Faith Energy told me 3 weeks and ended up completing in only 11 days.The quality of work is also vastly superior to the Tesla crew. The GFE guys even found one of the original strings wasnt connected properly, reducing my overall production.I would not hesitate to work with them again on another project.

We decided to go with Good Faith Energy for our solar and backup system because of their reputation, because they are local and because the owner of the business is active in day to day operations.We got a 10.2kW solar installation with 3 Tesla Powerwalls and now we are oblivious to power outages in our area. Our solar generates right at 100% of our annual usage and the batteries are plenty to get us through any outages or grid issues.We are almost 3 years in and have had 0 problems with anything that GFE installed.Writing this review is the most that I have thought about our solar generation system for some time, and that is how it should be.

My system is 58 panels w/ separate microinverters and 2 Tesla Powerwalls. Installation took 4 days. I recently had a tesla powerwall system installed at my home. Installers were excellent. Arrived on time and when they did arrive, they let me know what work theyd be performing that day. Also cleaned up after they were finished each day. Project manager was also informative as she kept me posted during each step of the process (which takes about 2-3 months because of interfacing with utility company and getting local install permits). Last process was meeting with field applications engineer who took me through all the necessary info to program my system to my needs. All in all, would I recommend Good Faith to others who may be interested in one of these systems? I absolutely would!!!! Thanks Good Faith.Update:Here it is, several months later and I have some news to share. Before having batteries installed, I was checking in to see if they could save some money without solar panels. I have found that you can, with time of use programming. This only works with electricity plans that give you Free time periods during the evening or on weekends. I have already figured out that there is no absolute free, because oncor charges (.051893 cents per kw for all kw/hrs used thats in addition to what your utility provider charges per kw/hr). The batteries can be programmed to discharge power to my home during the day, when rates are at there highest to offset some of the cost. During the peak of summer, the batteries can discharge up to 12-13 hours before they are down to minimum storage capacity. And you want to save some power for emergency backup, which is why i bought them in the first place. Bottom line, i used about 1650kw last month with a majority of the usage during the free period. My bill for a 4 bedroom home, single story, around 2100sq ft (just me living there) was $125. That is the cheapest August bill I have ever received. I love this system, expensive, yes, but worth every penny. Thanks again Good Faith, you guys rock!!!!

I used Good Faith Energy to install a total of four Tesla Powerwalls to an existing solar installation. The cost estimate process was straightforward and transparent. I am in the Texas Panhandle, and they made arrangements for one there installation techs to come by while they were in the area to look at the potential installation, and to begin final arrangements for installation.The actual power wall installation was smooth, and professional. Our local electricity utility (Xcel Energy) had not seen one of these before, and they actually wanted to come out during the commissioning process to see how it worked.After commissioning, we discovered an issue with my house where the original house wiring was not actually installed according to the original construction plans. This unexpectedly left a portion of the house without coverage by the Tesla Powerwalls. Good Faith was super in handling this, in that they wanted to make this right. They came back to install additional wiring to my complete satisfaction so I had whole house coverage.The Powerwall installation is top notch, and works exactly as billed. Only a matter of 6 weeks after installation, we had a windstorm that knocked out Xcel Energy in our part of Amarillo for 30 hours straight. We had the only home in the area that still had electricity, running off the Tesla Powerwalls continuously for that time. The Powerwalls recharged on Day 2 from the solar panels, and we could have gone several more days if the grid had not come back.I cant recommend Good Faith Energy enough. They did a great job, honest pricing, and were great people to work with.

Can I give 10 stars?? They are the best to work with through and through. From start to finish. I use quotations because there is no finish when you partner with Good Faith Energy. I had a great experience with GFE. The company did a thorough review of the shading and sun exposure so we could find the best placement and estimated energy production. They inspected the attic to ensure sufficient structural support and then set me up with the team to build a system. GFE is busy and so is permitting so expect a several weeks between signing and installation. During the install there was minimal disruption to my day and power was out only a short time as they shifted me over to solar. About a week later they followed up with an on site visit running me thorough the details of the system and checking if everything was operating as expected. There were a few small adjustments that need to be addressed (like some more sealant around the exterior panel) and they have set up someone to come by and address. Still in the early days so this isnt a long term review. Very interested to see how my production comes out relative to the estimate in a years time, which of course is the most important endpoint. I would recommend.

The installers worked in the rain to complete the project when they said they would. The system they installed has dropped our grid usage to zero for now. They worked thru the rain to configure my old system (old solar panels) with new panels and a Tesla Powerwall. After the install was complete I asked to have someone come and tutor me on the various software apps that are available to monitor and run the system. Early in the year, we bought a Tesla Model Y and needed to install an at-home charger. I talked around with a lot of other owners and many of them recommended the same place, Good Faith Energy. The installation was perfect and we even found a better spot on site that meant for cheaper installation. The wall connector was installed in a great spot and looked very clean. I was quite slow to make a decision! Good Faith Energy kept in contact with me but without harassing me. When I finally made a decision on my system specifications, they were quick to get started. I had a delay caused by my roof needing repair and they worked with me. When I advised I might possibly add another battery in future, they pulled out the wire they had already run and installed a thicker gauge wire in a thicker conduit and higher capacity breaker boxes and did not try bill me for the difference. They repaired the screw holes in my Franklin aGate that were defective from the factory at no charge. When I call them on the phone, it is almost always answered by a person rather than an automated system. Text messages are also responded to quickly.Everyone I worked with was great, from Meghan who assisted me with choosing my system to Heike & Amanda who managed my project. Meghan had to revise the proposals because one of my early assumptions would go against engineer study of my carport. I was impressed with the presentations because it simulates sunlight throughout the day and provides estimates on solar generation based on the physical mounting location of the solar panel. Meghan was knowledgeable, patient, and never applied sales pressure.After agreeing on a proposal, Amanda Haines took over installation scheduling. Responses from Amanda were always prompt. My project did require two minor adjustments that required subcontractors (adding a heat alarm in the garage and moving a gutter down spout) prior to the main installation, and Amanda was the point of contact on all of them.The main installation was very efficient. Crews showed up on-time everyday, worked almost non-stop, and finished installation ahead of schedule. Crews were respectful to take off shoes when entering the house. Materials and tools were moved to the sides at the end of days. Installations were precise based on measurements and pictures taken in the planning phase.My cat snuck out into the crews van and stole a crew members lunch, but Im glad the man took it with a sense of humor :)About a week after the installation, Frans Sanchez came out, walked me through the physical equipment, the apps associated with each, tested the power outage scenario, and reminded me to update my home owner insurance. He also gave me advices on electricity plans. We spent about an hour walking through the system. This meeting was very important as I did have questions about the physical equipment. I observed that Frans talking points and answers to my questions were very concise, not many filler words needed.The system has proved to work seamlessly as I had an electricity outage a couple days after the installation. My experience with GFE was very smooth.

Best solar company!! The system was extensively discussed with myself and my husband prior to install so we knew exactly how it was functioning (as solar was pretty foreign to us!). We ended up getting a layout that would offset all our energy usage and provide a battery backup and electric car charger, which has been a great set up for us! The battery backup was a great suggestion and gives great peace of mind during storms (we havent lost power yet!). Mo and the entire team specifically helped us design out layout so it would still look good, but also function as we need it to. System has been great since we got it installed (6 months ago) and has been powering our house 100%. Only hiccup we had was an old design plan originally got installed but they were VERY quick to repair and re-install how it was supposed to be with no issue!

Clayton confirmed GFE could and would do what they first company could not.The whole process went relatively quickly and easily. Install was a half day for the battery and another day for the solar panels. I thought it would be really loud, but I didnt even realize they were on the roof installing at first. Everyone was professional and tidy. I was expecting to have to clean up lots of odds and ends and trash from my yard. But no, they cleaned up my yard really well at the end of the day and when I found a random piece of trash they reinspected to make sure they hadnt missed anything.And best of all the whole system does exactly what was promised.

Good Faith Energy installed my solar system and Tesla Powerwall yesterday and the job they did was first class on all levels. I cant remember dealing with a company like this where everyone from the very start to the finish was so amazing, wonderful, and professional. And, this is not hyperbole. From the very first time I contacted Nathan who laid the foundation for the project by surveying my house and location, to Samantha who was the manager for my project, to Albert and his 3 crew members (who did the roof installation), to Ray and his crew member (who were the electricians and Tesla experts), to Michael who oversees all of these Good Faith team members ... all were not only professional, but each one possessed people skills and knowledge and worked without stopping to make my project happen. My system was installed in one day and I am already seeing the benefit of having solar power and a Tesla battery as part of my home. They did what they said they would, on time, done right, and allowed me to enjoy not only the finished work, but the process as well. Truly, I cannot express fully how impressed I have been with Good Faith and these great people. Kudos to everyone! I had my wall charger installed in March of last year, and I fully recommend Good Faith Energy as an installer. I found them via the Tesla website, so I guess they are already on their recommended list, but I definitely wanted to second that.Their communication via phone, e-mail, text, and online was great leading up the job. They even moved up my install to an earlier date when they had a cancellation. The guys were friendly, knowledgeable, on time, and did a great job. The final price was exactly what they quoted me on the estimate.Over a year later, everything is still perfect and working flawlessly. Ive recommended Good Faith Energy to my Tesla adviser so that he could pass it on to his customers, and I recommend them to anyone I know thinking about getting EV charger installed at home!

I requested an estimate to have my EV Charger installed. Received an immediate response from the company and the bid/estimate shortly thereafter. The customer service was excellent from beginning to end. The installer was here on time and really knew his business. Was very professional and explained the procedure. When finished he left the area as clean as when he showed up. They scheduled the inspection and that went smoothly. This company knows what they are doing. And there prices are reasonable as I did get a couple of bids. Tom in Sales was excellent and answered every question to make my decision easier.

The team is extremely knowledgable about product, excellent installation including electricians, extremely professional and punctual. They say what they do, and do what they say. The team from Good Faith Energy just finished installing our 9.125 KW system (25 LG panels).They did an amazing job! I grew up in a family of electricians and Shane’s work was top notch. An extremely clean install all the way around.I couldn’t be more pleased with the process, from the first visit with Mo up until today. Very quality work and these guys are local. My over all experience with the initial meeting with the sales team was great. Clayton was very informative and was very patient answering questions. The install team was also very good. They were respectful of our space, efficient, and they cleanup us afterwards which means a lot to us. We met Frans post install. He walked us through our system, was very patient with us, and answered all of our questions.So why the 4 stars? The scheduling could have been better. We were rescheduled 3 times, and it was NOT due to rain. The install team actually didn’t come on site until 1pm on the two days of our scheduled install. I have reached out to their office team about my concerns for their late arrival, but Amanda assured me that they will be able to finish on time. Obviously, that was not the case. It actually took 3 days. To some people that might not be an issue, but due to my work schedule, that was a huge deal, because it causes me to take time off from work.Also, we needed an HOA approval letter before work began. GGE team knows this. So after the initial signing and payments made, I haven’t heard from our assigned PM (project manager). We waited for a couple of weeks, and I finally asked, have someone from your office submitted the HOA approval yet? Nothing was done. This is the point when I felt that my time was just not valuable to GFE.So all in all, the product is solid, the field team is great to work with, but office team needs to do a better job of staying on top of things.

What seemed like a complicated project at first, installing solar panels on my home, became simple and easy to understand with their patience. No question was ever too much. Cant say enough good things about this company and the team of people that worked with us. Starting with Alicja who we knew from a previous install, to Amanda who coordinated all the details and kept us informed, to Mohammed who answers many questions, to all the install guys who were very friendly especially Ray and Ryan. Im sure there are others who I dont know the names of or havent met yet but again, everyone was great. We are even producing more power than estimated when it is sunny and thats just a bonus. Thanks for everything.Adding on to my review after having my post installation training on the system with Frans. So impressed with the amount of knowledge he has and the ability to explain things simply for those of us not so savvy in how electricity works! It was great and made me value the system even more. What a great added benefit this company has done to make their service that much more valuable. I hired Good Faith Energy to do my solar installation. This was after six months of research and whittling five companies down to one. They had the product line I wanted and did a professional job on the install. One of the guys I talked to at CoServ even bragged about how good their electricians are. Along with the solar install, they also replaced my roof, my gutters, and installed a leaf guard system. Everyone on the team was great at communication, workmanship, and every single one was very personable and welcomed me to the GFE family. If I had it to do all over again, I would go with GFE in a heartbeat. I highly recommend them if you are considering solar. They are second to none.
